I was in my small room in the maids’ quarters, brushing my hair and getting ready to retire for the night, when someone knocked on my door. Startled, I turned my head towards it, wondering who was looking for me at this hour. Before I could give a response, the door swung open and a gruff-looking soldier stood behind it, his lips set into a grim line. His piercing gaze swept over me, making me feel like an unruly insect.
I immediately sprang to my feet, bowing my head slightly, trying to hide my trembling hands. “You have been summoned by the Shifter Kings,” he said, his voice firm and commanding. “Do not keep them waiting.” He added, his words brooking no argument.
I flinched, snapping my head to look at him. What!? I thought, my mind racing with questions. Why would the Shifter Kings want to see me? I began to panic, feeling my hands grow clammy with sweat. Do they want to sleep with me again!? I thought they were done with me!
The soldier’s gaze lingered on me for a moment before he turned and walked away, expecting me to follow. I hesitated for a moment, my heart pounding in my chest, before I took a deep breath and followed him out of the room, millions of thoughts swirling in my head, my stomach twisting itself into knots.
I followed the guard, my heart racing with every step, as we navigated the winding corridors of the Shifter Kings’ fortress. As we approached the entrance, a sense of dread washed over me, making my legs tremble beneath my skirts. I wanted to run away but I knew it would be useless. The guards would drag me back, and I would face even worse punishment for trying to escape.
On our way, I encountered the mistress, Veronica, fuming in a corner, her hands buried in her head like a mad woman. Her eyes were wild and unfocused, her face twisted in a mixture of rage and despair. She looked up when she heard us coming, and her gaze locked onto mine, filled with a fierce intensity.
Without warning, she lunged at me, her fingers grasping my hair like a vice. “You bitch!” she screamed, pulling me around the corridor, my scalp burning from her grip. I bit my lips to stop myself from screaming out, but a groan still escaped as I struggled to break free.
“I knew you were trouble from the very moment you arrived in this palace,” she spat, her voice venomous. “I should have killed you a long time ago!” She continued to drag me around, my hair feeling like it was being ripped from my scalp.
Finally, I managed to dislodge from her grip, my scalp throbbing in pain. “Let. Me. Go!” I gritted out, trying to maintain some semblance of dignity. “You think the kings are going to like it if I go in there with an injury!?” I snapped back, trying to reason with her.
For a moment, she recoiled, her eyes flashing with fear. But it was quickly replaced by a sinister grin. “Don’t worry, this time around, the Shifter Kings are going to make sure they kill you,” she promised, her voice dripping with malice. “There’s no way you’re going to escape Adonis’s madness, even if Hermes lets you off easy.”
My heart skipped a beat as her words hung in the air, all the blood rushing away from my face. I tried to appear unbothered, but my mind was racing with terror. I knew what was expected of me, and I had no idea what it meant.
Unable to respond, I turned around and rushed to the entrance of the Play Pen, my heart racing in my chest. I stood before the imposing doors, my hand hesitating on the handle. Despite my outward calmness, I was terrified out of my wits.
The door opened, and after a moment’s hesitation, I walked into the room, cold sweat breaking out on my body. This time around, all three of them were present, and the dread in my body multiplied. I immediately lowered myself to my knees, letting my head hit the ground as I greeted them, unable to stop my voice from shaking.
Really?” Caspian spoke up, sounding rather aggrieved, his voice tinged with concern. But his words were quickly cut off by Adonis’s sharp retort.
“What!?” Adonis snapped back, his voice characteristically bored yet tinged with anger. “If she could take us the first time, I don’t think it’s going to kill her now,” he said, his tone dripping with disdain. “At least, better her than another slave there I’m going to definitely kill.” He stated, his words sending a chill down my spine.
I felt my blood run cold as his gaze settled on me. Veronica was right, the kings might just kill me this time around. I barely survived the last time, and I knew I wouldn’t be so lucky again.
“Undress,” Adonis ordered, his voice firm and commanding, leaving no room for disobedience.
I stood to my feet, my legs trembling as I reached for the hem of my dress. My hands were shaking as I pulled it over my head, the fabric slipping off my body and pooling on the floor. I shivered, feeling exposed and vulnerable under the kings’ lustful gazes.
The wounds I had sustained from Veronica’s punishments had healed, but the scars still remained and I was waiting for that to heal. But none of that mattered now as the kings’ eyes roamed over my body, their gazes burning with desire.
I bit back a whimper, trying to maintain some semblance of dignity, but it was hard to keep my composure under their intense gazes. Hermes’s eyes lingered on my breasts, while Caspian’s gaze settled on my hips. Adonis, on the other hand, seemed to be taking in every inch of me, his eyes burning with a fierce intensity.
I didn’t dare look up, keeping my gaze focused on the ground, resisting the urge to try and shield my nakedness from their prying eyes.
Someone cleared their throat, the sound echoing through the room like a death knell. I couldn’t tell who it was – Adonis, Hermes, or Caspian – and I didn’t dare look up to find out. I just wanted to disappear from this place, to vanish into thin air and escape the humiliation and fear that threatened to consume me.
My heart pounded in my chest, my pulse racing with every passing moment. I could feel their eyes on me, boring into my skin like hot coals. I shivered, despite the warmth of the room, my skin crawling with unease.
The silence stretched out, heavy and oppressive, punctuated only by the sound of my own ragged breathing. I felt like I was drowning in their gaze, suffocating under the weight of their desire.
“Come here.” Hermes called out and I flinched. Slowly raising my head, I caught him already staring at me, his green eyes glowing in the dim lighting, his pupils dilated with desire. My heart did a summersault and I immediately felt dizzy. Forcing air into my lungs, I walked up to him before lowering myself to my knees before him. He pointed to his bulge that was barely covered in the robe he was wearing. “Take it into your mouth.” He said.
I blanked, my eyes widening. What did he just say? When he saw my hesitation, he growled. A deep, animalistic growl that seemed to reverberate in the room. “Don’t make me repeat myself.” He snarled, flashing his elongated canines. I flinched, a soft whimper of fear escaping my lips.
With trembling hands, I reached out and pulled the robe away, revealing his half hardened member. My cheeks burned and as much as I would love to look away, I couldn’t. Partly out of fear and also because, he was of an impressive length, way bigger than my mouth could manage. Is this what he shoved into me that night!? I swallowed the saliva in my mouth, shoving my fear deep down as I gingerly reached to touch his tip with my fingers. It was my first time seeing a man’s private part and even touching it and definitely had no idea what to do.
It jerked when my fingers brushed the tip and Hermes growled, covering his face with his hands. “I’m sorry.” I hastily muttered, wrapping my hands around him. Heavens, but it was so hot, it felt like it would burn my hands off. Hermes glared at me with an incredulous expression on his face, as if wondering if this was my first time doing such a thing. Well, it definitely was.
“Put it in your mouth.”
