I can’t say how this looks so funny but watching Olivia try to explain why she had killed Alpha Jaxon.
Obviously, she seem to be the blackmailing type but Brook knows I don’t do such. I won’t want to get in with the Alpha king again so I would rather have someone else do the killing.
“You are pained that i wasn’t broken when you left, Olivia” I said with a grim on my face “And you are the one with the bloody hand, I have no explanation to make”.
She must not know that I nearly lost and with that smile on her face, I felt like she already knew.
We both looked to thege direction of Brook who cleared his throat nosily. His eyes went from his dead father for a while, it seem like he was less concerned.
“I would not need that explanation,” Brook said as he turn back to the omega side him “But she does”.
Before I could understand what just happened, The omega’s heart had been ripped off her chest. For the next few seconds, Brook stared at her dead body as of he had been forced to kill her.
“she would have been useful,” Brook said glaring at me “But you messed things up by coming to my park without invitation or letting me know”.
What the heck did he do?
He killed her, why blame me?
I don’t get it!
Really, I now see the reason I shouldn’t have always let Brook know I would come to his park before coming. I would have seen Olivia all these while, I wouldn’t have lot my mate, and lastly, would not have to watch an Alpha die like a chicken.
Shit! That was so annoying to watch. How the hell on earth would an Alpha die like a fucking chicken.
He didn’t even try to go with a fight!
‘They smell like mate!’ Mox whispered ‘They fucking smell like mate!’.
I stood speechless, my eyes scanned around as a frown rested on my face. I couldn’t comprehend the images that were before me, my head made the room look like a complete mess to the point that I found it difficult walking through without stepping on the dead Alpha or his warm heart on the floor.
‘This place smells like Mate’ Mox growled this time.
What the heck was he saying, I know the place smells like our mate what does he expect? Maybe if we open our eyes well, we might see her compressed below the neat floor or behind a nice couch?
Hopefully, she would still be in one piece because the way I am seeing this place, I am sure her tiny body can’t survive being taped to the ground.
As confused as I was, I looked up at Brook and Olivia as they walked out of the room. Well, that doesn’t feel more to be normal because as soon as they left, Mira and Sean rushed in, sniffed the air, and stared at me to see the dead Alpha and the omega.
They both had this puzzled look on their faces too. They seem out of the world to find the room in such a messy state and I couldn’t help but think if Olivia and Brook that just left were trying to mess with me, something that I won’t accept at all.
“This a joke?” I let out breaking the silence, an impatient look not leaving my face.
‘What were you expecting?’ Mox scoffed impatiently.
Confused, they turned toward me at the same time trying to understand what my words mean.
“I don’t understand you, Alpha,” Sean said, watching me intensively “Should we go after them?”.
I surveyed the room sharply and averted my gaze back at them. Sean might want to go after them but Mira? They would break her within a second! She looked so determined like she would actually make use of her growing claws but…. no more death.
‘We can do this on our own’ I listened to Mox without my vision leaving Sean at all.
The pissed look on Mira’s face looked like she could kill them if I had just said the word but as I could have it, I still could clearly see the way she was trying hard not to scoff and roll her eyes.
‘Women’ I thought as I shook my head.
I know she saw Olivia and as everyone knows about her, she would think I let them go because of my Ex mate.
Damn, thinking about Olivia reminds me of my mate. Just that she This one smells like fresh leaves and sawdust.
‘Glad you noted that’ Mox said ‘She smells horribly horrible’.
I perceived her before, not far before I heard footsteps from the door my people had just left. Quickly, I turned around, and to my shock, walking inside the room was a familiar face that had a smirk on her face.
She walked slowly, her gaze not letting go of me at all and at the sight of her, deep anger began to grow inside of me.
“Caramel” I muttered with contempt, not who I was expecting tho.
“Hello, Rex” She smirked.
Such disrespect! Something had to be done about people that decided to misbehave. But killing Caramel would be a waste of my good time. I glanced at Mira, and then at Caramel, trying to match if their body would be the best match.
My attention immediately left Mira and Sean and rested on the familiar intruder who has made my blood boil with her appearance.
“What’s wrong, Alpha?” Caramel rolled her eyes “Not me you wanted to see?”.
Yes!
Not her that I wanted to see.
Actually, this shit just only gets real because no one would tell me that Brook did not have my mate. Why I kept looking at Mira and Sean was that I felt Caramel should be dead by now. But this Caramel…..?
‘Hell no! fucking hell no!’ Mox growled ‘So help me not to tear her apart without explanation’.
A soft chuckle escaped from Caramel who stood not far away from me, she had her arms behind her back, and her face looked so different but of course, it didn’t take me long to recognize her. She looked robust like she added some kind of new energy and weight. Her eyes had this lovely spark that I immediately find disgusting and her body?
I wonder why she would be on just a bra and… is that a pant or a very short short?
“Long time, Rex, Or should I still address you as my Alpha?” She paused for a few seconds then scoff “It is a pleasure to finally meet you, again after you had refused to search for me” Caramel let out, the smirk didn’t go off him at all.
A frown appeared mixed with a look of anger. Caramel’s voice held nothing but anger in a way that really irritated me but I said nothing. Instead, I stood still watching her as so many unspoken words traveled through my mind. I admit that I wasn’t ready to search for her, in fact, I deleted her from my mind when everyone was busy asking about her and not their Luna.
“Caramel, I Wasnt expecting you. What are you doing here?” I asked bluntly, still standing at my spot as I watched her take a few steps in my direction.
At first, she didn’t respond to my question, she glanced down at his feet and it was at that moment I noticed that she was putting on a red pair of high heels I have never seen her wear before. It made her look so different and fierce than the last time I saw her.
‘Not this childish sexy guard shit!’ Mox scoffed.
“You shouldn’t be asking me that Alpha, although it’s been a while all thanks to you and Rain’s blood, I am now almost an immortal, just a little more, of her blood and I will be unkillable” she announced cheerfully.
Sadly, she knows Rain’s power, and oddly, She is saying this shit in front of Sean and Mira who had no idea what their Luna is.
Acting as if I care, I pretend I couldn’t hide my surprise. Seeing how shocked I was, Caramel chuckled with great satisfaction, a laughter filled with nothing but mockery.
‘Poor bitch’ Mox scoffed ‘I swear I will kill her today’.
Although I was really angry, my angry feelings failed to suppress the irritation that sparked in me. Not wanting to listen to more of Caramel’s words, I turned away completely ignoring me as I began to search through the house, the image of Rain kept flashing through my mind. I am here in search of Rain and that is what I will pay close attention to, nothing else.
‘Not even this bitch you want to kill so badly?’ Mox snapped in anger.
Standing not far away from me, my eyes laid on an of the wall, and instantly, I walked towards it together with Mira and Sean. I studied the wall, checking every cut and faint fresh air coming from the cracks.
“Looking for something?” Caramel asked.
I didn’t pay attention, I just traced the lines I felt that are not in order without minding that am in another Alpha’s park and invading his privacy.
What does it matter?
If Brook didn’t want me to be here, he won’t have left with the woman that killed his father. He didn’t want a loose end so he killed the poor pretty omega.
‘Poor girl’ Mox said ‘She had that lovely eyes and I thought I could take her for Rain but, she’s dead’.
Nodding as if I just realized that she is dead, I forced myself not to roll my eye like a woman when I perceived a sudden movement behind me. Turning back, I saw Sean and Mira in defense mood, their claws, and Furs visible as they stand on the verge of half shift.
Caramel had this signature smirk on her face as she looked at me and shrugged.
“You think you can find Rain’s body behind that closed door?” She asked.

I never knew it was a closed door.
