REX’S POV
I watched Rain walk out of the hall. The look on her face was so out of the world that I felt my heart glitch at it. She looked so pale and out of strength in a way that didn’t please me at all.
She wanted to shift.
Why?
No way will I let her do so!.
The thought of her shifting and allowing another werewolf to see her naked is something that didn’t go with me, not at all. Moreover, she can barely control her wolf, her strange black wolf for an Omega that is supposed to be nothing close to black.
‘Black or not, I just don’t want them seeing our mate’s bobbies’ Mox scoffed.
I think I agree, I think I stand with the fact that I don’t want anyone to see her bake apart for Hawk that has seen her once and that would be never.
Her body is mine to see alone, scars or not, she is my Mate.
I am not trying to be possessive but I can’t help myself but be. She is under my care and I will do anything to make her do as I want, only in my way.
With the thought of Rain stuck to my head, I averted my gaze to Raven who stood next to me with a smile on her face.
‘I hate her’ Mox growled.
Yeah, I want to say me too but staring at made me see only one annoying thing.
No doubt, she is beautiful but seeing her flirt with me so sharp is something that I don’t want to accept at all.
“Don’t you ever try that ever again” I warned sternly.
A look of surprise came off her face, “What? I didn’t do anything, what won’t with just being nice”.
I chose to ignore her, I turned to Hawk who stood behind me watching the whole ordeal.
“Hawk”.
“Alpha”
“I need you to go after Rain and take care of her, look after her and make sure that she is fine. I don’t intend to have her worried about anything at all” I instructed and with a nod, Hawk walked out of the room.
That’s me being sweet, but not for long. At this point, I need to know what’s up with her and her changing ability. I need to know what’s up with am omega having a black wolf bigger than her personality.
‘She can still be just our mate of you stop being so annoying’ Mox yelled inside of me.
I still feel his anger, his pain as he still blames me for what happened to our previous mate and her rejection.
Walking slowly out of the changing room, I want nothing more than to just be in charge. Yeah, be in charge all the freaking time and that is what I would do to Rain.
She dare not fucking reject me, that would be if she gets the chance because I will never give her such…..
“Rex?”.
I heard Raven call out but I ignored her. Along with my thoughts, I walked out of the room and headed towards my office, the face of Rain felt going through my head so wild that she was about to drive me insane.
Mox growled in anger.
“What?!” I asked.
‘I don’t know why you are wasting time Rex. You shouldn’t hold this for so long, you have to claim Rain quickly, she is our mate, I have no idea why you are wasting so much time’.
I like Mox when he is angry, and I love to ignore him. His harsh words, fired greatly angrily but I chose to ignore him, the pride that overwhelmed me grew like wildfire.
‘Don’t start!’.
No way will I claim her by going to her, instead, I want her to come to me and beg for me to have her. This has always been the way things have been done and only the other way round.
‘Don’t let your pride get you, Rex, this might not end the way you want it to’ Mox said trying to convince me but I was so adamant about my words.
“No, never!”
I am Rex.
The Alpha of the pack, I do things the way it pleases me and I don’t care how anyone takes it. When I was so sweet, no one gives an f few damn, my mate even rejected me in the name of respect.
As for my mate, Rain will have to come to me. That black wolfed Omega must come to beg me for my love, beg me to claim her and have her as mine. But before then, I have the right over anything she wants to do.
Yes!
She has to do this just the way my previous mate did and with just this, then, I will have to do to her anything that pleases me. I don’t care how much she continues to fight, she can’t withstand this forever, this, I am very sure of and I must have her grasp at the edge of my finger anytime I need her.
I got into my office and sat on the chair next to a table, my eyes fixed on the pile of papers and files arranged neatly.
I picked up Rain’s file and began to study it. The more I did, the more confused I became, a realization that struck me deeper than expected.
Settling on her file, I went through her history and the pack which she insists she is from but to my uttermost surprise, there was no vital information about her from the pack. It felt like she couldn’t from no way, I just couldn’t trace her background, a realization that really baffled me.
With a frown on my face, my brows furred with feelings, I studied her file still trying to figure it all out but the result bounced back to normal. There was no trace of Rain from the supposed pack, nothing at all.
‘Relax Rex, her information must have been withheld or taken away by someone. You can’t just believe that she isn’t from somewhere, she is a werewolf just like us’ Mox spoke out as I began to flip through pages on the file.
“No,” I muttered, shaking my head. Of course, I can’t be deceived, I am certain with the information written on the file right before me.
“No Mox, you are wrong this time, I find it hard to believe that someone might have withheld her information, who would want to do that?” I inquired rhetorically, my eyes still fixed pm each word written on the file.
Unable to find what I needed, I got to my feet and began to pave around wondering what might be going on.
Am I missing something? Sure I am.
Is someone hiding something? Sure they are.
Is there something no one is informing me about? I bet there is.
These questions ran through my head and of course, there was no one present with a solid answer. It’s just me, answering myself the way I can.
Sighing deeply, I walked towards the open window, my eyes fixed on the open field of the pack. I need to know how the training is going so far, everything has to be done in accordance and no stone must be left unturned.
Some things never change, like the sight of my people doing what they normally do.
‘Matrix’ Mox scoffed.
Suddenly, a figure caught my attention, with a narrower gaze, I walked closer to the open window only to notice that the figure was no one else but Rain. She stood still, her eyes fixed on someone with her lips stretched into a strange smile.
“Who is she smiling at?” I asked myself how strange it was.
Mox growls so loud.
The blood in my veins ran so violently and at that moment I could feel that something wasn’t right.
Without uttering a word, I followed her gaze only to realize that she was staring at someone who stood a few feet away from her with no clothes on.
Mox growls again, more aggressive this time.
‘Damn she is looking at a clothless wolf!’.
At that minute, I recognized the person to be no one else but a male werewolf.
‘A fvcking naked male wolf!’.
