After her conversation with Blake the night before, she had decided to stay away from both Blake and Reese.
Yet, the paparazzo caught her and Blake at the engagement event, sparking rumors about them being together late at night, which caused a lot of problems.
The company phone wouldn’t stop ringing, with partners calling to ask for clarification. If Blake and Reese’s relationship turned out to be fake, the agency would be held responsible for the losses.
Most of the company’s deals involved both Reese and Blake. If the partners decided to back out, the company would face a huge financial crisis.
Diana rushed into Bianca’s office, looking worried, and leaned over the desk. “What’s our plan now? The internet is full of rumors about Blake, you, and Reese. Should we make a public statement? Which side should we explain first?”
Bianca shook her head. “Those are two different issues. I can’t control what happens between Blake and Reese. We can’t interfere in the personal lives of stars, and I don’t have the authority or reason to get involved. My job is to follow their next steps. If things get worse, our only options are to offer compensation, give refunds, or cancel some contracts.”
Diana was caught off guard. She didn’t expect Bianca to decide against stepping into Summer and Reese’s situation. With a bit of hesitation, she muttered, “Fine, I’ll handle it myself.”
But as she started to leave, Bianca stopped her. “No need,” she said firmly. “I’ve already spoken to them, and that’s that. They have their own way of handling things, and it’s not for us to interfere.”
Diana frowned, disappointed, but she could tell Bianca’s mind was made up. Still, she pressed, “What about the photos of you and Blake? And the real reason behind that party? Don’t you think you should clear things up, at least for the people on Twitter and the media?”
Bianca, always valuing honesty, didn’t see the point in hiding anything.
She quickly wrote a short post explaining the event. It was just a party celebrating a friend’s engagement for both her and Blake, and she asked the media to stop jumping to conclusions.
Bianca added photos of the event space she had taken to make her explanation more credible and shared them on social media.
But this hardly stopped the rumors. Fans of Blake and Reese’s supposed romance weren’t satisfied and kept speculating. They flooded the comments, questioning her intentions and the real story behind her silence.
“It looks like the love between Reese and Blake was just an act. Bianca is staying quiet about it, which says a lot, don’t you think?”
“Come on, Bianca Scott, stop avoiding the truth and give us some answers!”
“Emerald Agency, we’re still waiting for an explanation!”
And as if things couldn’t get worse, trouble came knocking again.
By nightfall, a video surfaced of an interview with a manager from the Emperor Hotel. His claims directly contradicted Bianca’s explanation.
“I’m a manager at the Emperor Hotel,” he said. “I can confirm there was no engagement party held here last night. Miss Scott must have taken those pictures somewhere else. It would be better if she stopped making up stories to defend herself.”
The video hit Bianca hard, and the online backlash exploded. People were quick to jump on her supposed lie, their accusations harsher than ever.
“Come down from your high horse, faker! Acting all innocent while fooling around with your talent and trying to cover it up?”
“And now Bianca’s claiming she has a boyfriend? What a joke. We’ve all been played!”
“I heard she blew all the money she stole from Blake on her secret boy toy. Absolutely shameful!”
“Ban her already!”
The pressure didn’t stop there. Even the staff of Star Search piled on, issuing an ultimatum. They demanded Bianca make a full public explanation, or Blake and Reese would be cut from the third episode. Any damage caused would rest entirely on Bianca and her agency.
Bianca felt like the world was crashing down around her. The chaos was too much to bear, and the pounding headache that followed was almost unbearable.
The manager’s interview from the Emperor Hotel made Bianca’s blood boil. It was a blatant lie, clearly designed to pin all the blame on her.
She wasn’t the type to back down from a fight or let others push her around. If there were a problem, she’d face it head-on and get to the truth, no matter what it took.
Determined, Bianca dropped everything and headed straight to the Emperor Hotel.
She approached the front desk in the hotel lobby, ready to tackle the issue directly. But the receptionist didn’t seem too interested in helping her.
“I need to speak with the manager who gave that interview,” Bianca demanded firmly. “I want a face-to-face conversation and access to the surveillance footage from the banquet hall on the top floor last night!” Bianca has a hard tone and an unshakable attitude.
“Do you think you have the right to see our hotel’s surveillance footage? And as for this so-called’ manager,’ I have no idea who you’re talking about. If that’s all you’re here for, I suggest you leave now. Causing trouble won’t get you anywhere. Do you even know who owns the Emperor Hotel?” the receptionist said coldly, her tone dripping with condescension. It was clear she had no intention of helping Bianca.
She had been instructed to turn away any woman who fit Bianca’s description, and she was simply following orders.
Bianca tried to reason with her, but it was no use. The receptionist was firm, and without hesitation, she called security. Within moments, a group of guards appeared and began to escort Bianca out.
“Let me go! You have no right!” Bianca protested, struggling against them.
But the guards didn’t budge. Despite her efforts to resist, they overpowered her and swiftly escorted her out. Before she knew it, Bianca was standing outside the hotel, staring at the glass doors as they shut firmly behind her.
Thrown out onto the busy street, Bianca stood alone, her neatly styled hair now a messy tangle from the struggle. Her cheeks burned with frustration and humiliation.
Nearby, Natalie, who was filming a project at the Emperor Hotel, caught sight of someone she recognized-and strongly disliked. Spotting Bianca looking so disheveled, Natalie barely managed to stifle her laughter.
Bianca, oblivious to her surroundings, was focused on replying to a message from Diana when a sneering voice cut through the noise.
“Well, well, look who it is-Bianca Scott, the so-called famous agent!”
Bianca looked up to see Natalie glaring at her.
