Chapter 2439: A Single Sword Strike

Just like last time, as everyone rushed halfway, Billy vanished without a trace.
Splat! Splat! In the next moment, after a flash of the blade, three heads flew into the air, blood spurting like fountains.
The three were all at the early stage of the Controlled Kun Realm. With one strike, even their soul bodies were not spared, completely obliterated.
“Come out if you have the guts…” a sixth-rank Controlled Kun Realm man shouted angrily.
Before he finished speaking, a blade flashed through his waist, blood gushing out.
His body fell directly, and his soul shot up into the air with a fearful expression.
Several other mid-stage Controlled Kun Realm men and women suffered the same fate. Without even seeing Billy’s shadow, they were reduced to mere soul bodies.
In the blink of an eye, only Archie Allison, a half-step Mystic Kun Realm, and two ninth-rank Controlled Kun Realm remained.
Next, Billy appeared, exhausted from overusing his mental power.
“You decided to show yourself?” Archie Allison said coldly.
“If I’m not mistaken, your Invisibility Technique consumes a lot of mental power, right? Once used, it’s hard to hide again in a short time. Am I right?”
“You are right!” Billy shrugged in response.
“So tell me now, do you plan to kill yourself, or should I end you?” Archie Allison asked.
“You can’t kill me!” Billy shrugged again.
“Really?” Archie Allison squinted his eyes. “I don’t believe you have any other tricks!”
“What if I do?” Billy asked with a smile.
“If you do, I’ll leave immediately and never bother you again!” Archie Allison responded seriously.
He couldn’t believe Billy had another trick up his sleeve. He just couldn’t believe it!
“Do you think I would believe that?” Billy laughed again. “Alright then, if you’re going to make a move, hurry up. Otherwise, once I recover my mental power, you’ll go crazy again!”
“Fine!” Archie Allison said solemnly.
As soon as he finished speaking, he quickly flashed towards Billy.
At this moment, a slender sword shot from the distant sky like lightning.
The sword’s momentum was unstoppable, tearing through the barrier and flashing towards Archie Allison.
“Hmm?” Archie Allison’s pupils shrank instantly as a sense of death surged to his head.
He wanted to dodge and reacted immediately but was still half a beat too slow. The sword pierced through his throat, blood gushing out.
To his despair, not only did his body fall with that strike, but even his soul was not spared, completely obliterated!
In his dying moment, his only thought was wondering who was strong enough to kill him!
Billy was equally surprised. A single sword strike took down a second-rank Mystic Kun Realm-so powerful!
With Archie Allison’s fall, the barrier shattered simultaneously.
Soon after, a beautiful figure flew over from the distance.
“Miss Sanaa?” Billy was stunned upon seeing her.
He hadn’t expected Sanaa to be the one who came!
He was shocked. In just a few months, Sanaa had become so strong?!
It didn’t make sense! Even if Sanaa had fully recovered from her injuries, she should only be at the Controlled Kun Realm at best! How could she take down a second-rank Mystic Kun Realm with one strike?
What had happened during her retreat at Fairy’s place in the past two months? It was unbelievable!
“Are you alright?” Sanaa smiled at Billy.
“Thank you, Miss Sanaa. I’m fine!” Billy shook his head in response.
“Rest for a bit; we’ll talk later!” Sanaa said before walking towards the half-step Mystic Kun Realm and two ninth-rank Controlled Kun Realm opponents.
“Who are you?” The half-step Mystic Kun Realm elder asked after taking a deep breath.
Before he finished speaking, a slender sword flashed through his chest, obliterating his soul as well.
The two ninth-rank Controlled Kun Realm gasped and fled backward.
Facing such a powerful opponent, they didn’t even have the courage to fight and knew staying meant death.
Of course, Sanaa wouldn’t let them escape.
A beam of sword light tore through the void for tens of thousands of meters and flashed through their backs, destroying both their bodies and souls!
Meanwhile, Billy’s Slaughter Sky split White Feather’s opponent in half. The soul hadn’t flown far before being incinerated by White Feather’s heat wave.
On the other side, Dark Puppet’s opponent was already exhausted and tried to escape but was beheaded by Billy. Dark Puppet absorbed the soul into its own.
Thus, all members sent by Nameless Sect for the upcoming summit were annihilated.
“Miss Sanaa!” White Feather approached and greeted Sanaa.
“White Feather, you’ve worked hard these past days!” Sanaa smiled in response.
“Your soul should be nearly healed by now. Go back to Nine Dragons Cauldron Space for retreat; I’ll accompany Billy to Prime City!”
“Retreat?” Billy was puzzled.
“Once White Feather’s soul is healed, her power won’t automatically return to its peak state. It needs time to recover slowly. Retreating will speed up the process,” Sanaa explained further.
“She could have retreated earlier but probably delayed it out of concern for your safety.”
“White Feather, is that true?” Billy asked White Feather in surprise.
“As long as my soul heals, my power will eventually recover. No rush,” White Feather replied with a smile.
“The eighth-tier star domain is getting increasingly chaotic. You can’t help Billy with your current power,” Sanaa continued with a smile. “Take advantage of this time while he can still handle things himself and retreat!”
“I’ll take Billy somewhere first; I’ll retreat afterward!” White Feather responded.
“Where?” Sanaa asked.
“A place where Billy can temper his body and enhance his cultivation,” White Feather replied.
“It’s not far from here. I’ll fly you both there; it will take three or four days.”
“Is it dangerous?” Sanaa asked further.
“It is somewhat dangerous!” White Feather nodded. “If you hadn’t come, Miss Sanaa, I wouldn’t dare take Billy there!”
“You’ve piqued my curiosity; let’s go see!” Sanaa smiled.
“Alright!” White Feather nodded.
Soon after Billy and Sanaa settled in place, White Feather flapped her wings and flew forward.
“Miss Sanaa, why did you come here?” Billy asked while in mid-air.
“I heard Grand Hall plans to hold a meeting in Prime City targeting Heaven’s Scourge. It’s said you’re invited too,” Sanaa shrugged in response.
“I knew you’d want to join the fun, so I came to see if I could find you. And here you are!”
Without waiting for Billy’s response, she continued.
“You’ve got guts. Knowing their target is Nine Dragons Cauldron, you still dare to go. Do you really think no one can kill you?”
“Hehe, I only want to see which top-tier sects will attend!” Billy grinned.
“Just dealing with Nameless Sect alone has put you on the defensive. Aren’t you worried that you can’t get out of Prime City alive?” Sanaa retorted.
