Chapter 665: You Want Me to Kneel?

Book:A King Reborn in Shadows Published:2024-12-2

“Mr. Jenkins is here! He’s brought his bodyguards!” someone shouted.
“My goodness! Look at the way he walks; he’s probably seething with rage!”
“Attacking someone on Promenade Lane, especially someone who brings in traffic for the area? This guy is definitely going down today,” murmured the bystanders as Freddie Jenkins approached with large strides, causing concern for Flynn.
Vivienne Osborn quickly went to meet him, followed by the old lady who also got up and ran to catch up.
She was going to complain and stoke Freddie Jenkins’s anger even more.
If Freddie Jenkins exploded in rage, not just an arm, but both legs might be broken!
“If you beg me now, I can assure you’ll only get slapped a few times before you can leave,” Genevieve Everett said coldly to Flynn, looking down on him as if she were a fairy disdainful of mortals.
Genevieve Everett’s goal was not to maim Flynn, but simply to make him bow his head.
Crushing Flynn’s pride was her ultimate motive.
You think you’re above it all?
You look down on even the people from Alwood Mountains?
You want to protect Molly?
Let’s see if you can maintain your arrogance once Freddie Jenkins arrives!
Thinking you can force Freddie Jenkins into submission with violence? Go ahead and try, but you stand no chance against the two of us!
“Ah, my leg! Mr. Jenkins, someone is causing trouble in our Sovereign Estate and has broken my leg; you must do something about this!” the tea shop owner screamed louder.
Before Freddie Jenkins had even arrived, he began to wail, unable to wait for Flynn to be punished.
Though some of his screaming was due to pain, most of it was to create a tragic scene to provoke Freddie Jenkins.
When Freddie Jenkins heard the tea shop owner’s screams, his expression darkened. “Weren’t they only supposed to have hit Ms. Osborn’s grandmother? How did the tea shop owner get attacked by thugs too?”
Vivienne Osborn quickly approached him and said through clenched teeth, “That’s right, Mr. Jenkins. After I called you, he attacked the tea shop owner as well!”
“What? He dared to be so bold after you informed me I was coming? The bastard!” thundered Freddie Jenkins, his eyes flashing with fury.
“Causing trouble on my turf? He doesn’t want to live?”
Hearing this, one of the bodyguards pulled out a spring baton from his waist.
With a swish, he extended a section of the finely forged steel baton.
Vivienne Osborn’s lips curled up slightly at the sight of the cold, thick baton.
That must hurt quite a bit if it hits someone.
At that moment, the old lady caught up, pointing to her bleeding mouth pitifully, “Mr. Jenkins, look what he did to my mouth, knocked out three of my teeth, you can see how violent he is.”
“That guy clearly doesn’t respect you, you must stand up for us!”
Freddie Jenkins’s face grew even darker as he looked at the old lady’s swollen, purplish face.
The thug had clearly aimed to kill, daring to harm Vivienne Osborn, who was his person?
He’s dead! He must die today!
“I’ve been in Niarak for many years and have never seen anyone dare to bully me like this!”
“Does he think I, a mighty dragon, can’t suppress a local snake?”
“Well then, today I will show him!”
Boom!
A burst of explosive energy erupted from Freddie Jenkins, an immense pressure enveloping the surroundings.
With lethal intent, Freddie Jenkins strode towards the tea shop.
Ha ha!
Success!
They had successfully enraged Mr. Jenkins!
The old lady’s swollen face broke into a grin, looking at the bodyguard’s spring baton with excitement and anticipation.
That baton hitting someone would likely tear flesh apart.
We warned you not to mess with us, but you wouldn’t listen!
As Freddie Jenkins approached with a murderous intent, Genevieve Everett sneered, “It seems you’re not planning to beg me, so you’ll just have to fend for yourself!”
Flynn stood still, his voice indifferent, “Just remember what I said.”
Seeing things had come to this, Molly sighed deeply and fell silent.
It wasn’t just about whether Flynn’s connections could surpass Genevieve’s. The fact that he was a Great Grandmaster alone meant that neither you nor Freddie Jenkins should provoke him!
“Who started this? Come out and kneel here!” Freddie Jenkins pointed to the ground, and after a roar, the glass windows of nearby shops vibrated violently.
A wave of energy burst forth from him, sweeping the trash on the ground in all directions.
The dust stung everyone’s faces.
My God!
Is this the power of a Grandmaster?
A single shout nearly left us deaf!
Everyone was shocked.
A Grandmaster’s energy could kill, and soon Freddie Jenkins might not even need to move; his mere energy might be enough to kill that young man!
“It was me!” Flynn pushed through the crowd and stood five meters from Freddie Jenkins.
The air seemed to freeze.
Everyone held their breath, bracing for the bloody scene to follow.
Buzz-
The moment he saw Flynn, Freddie Jenkins’s brain exploded, and he began to twitch at the corners of his mouth.
This… damn, the King of the Underworld!
His brother had told him about Flynn, a figure even the Ostrad Dragonguard feared.
The master of the eight Heavenly Kings of the Nation!
Holy shit!
This wasn’t just some local snake; this was a god who kept a dozen dragons!
Who could claim supremacy in his presence?
Who could claim invincibility?
In front of him, even a divine dragon would turn into a tiny mudfish!
Vivienne Osborn, unaware of Freddie Jenkins’s reaction, saw Flynn step forward and stand proudly. Her anger flared up immediately.
“You scoundrel, Mr. Jenkins is here, and you won’t kneel and speak so confidently?”
“Do you dare lay your filthy hands on me?”
“Let me tell you, I’m not easy to mess with! Kneel down! Kneel…”
Vivienne Osborn was pointing furiously at Flynn’s nose when he suddenly slapped her.
The force of the slap was fiercer than hitting an old lady, sending Vivienne Osborn flying, spinning seven or eight times in the air before crashing down onto a table and chairs.
Blood gushed from her nose, and several teeth shook loose, leaving her brain blank with pain.
She struggled to hold onto a chair, shaking her head, but her vision remained blurry.
Like a wild dog thrown back after an attempt to bite, she appeared concussed.
Molly grimaced, feeling that Flynn was too harsh.
After all, she was a woman. Wasn’t that slap too severe?
Genevieve Everett frowned.
In front of Freddie Jenkins, Flynn dared to strike, seemingly committed to seeing this through to the end.
After delivering the slap, Flynn looked at Freddie Jenkins with narrowed eyes: “You want me to kneel?”
Freddie Jenkins shuddered.
“Ah! You brute, I’ll fight you with my life!” Before Freddie Jenkins could speak, the old woman, fierce as a demon, eyes bulging, hands clawed, charged at Flynn.
“Damn it! Give me the stick!” Freddie Jenkins snatched a spring baton from his bodyguard, leapt behind the old woman, and swung it at her back.
“Crack!”
The sound of her shoulder blade shattering echoed as she howled in pain and was thrown sideways onto the street, her back a bloody mess, her organs damaged, vomiting a mouthful of fresh blood.
Pain twisted her face as she looked at Freddie Jenkins bewildered: “Mr. Jenkins, why would you do this?”
Freddie Jenkins ignored her, looking directly at Flynn and kneeling down!
