Lilith
My stomach growled loudly before tightening a bit.
The urge to puke overwhelmed me again, and before I could race to the bathroom, it spilt on the floor once more.
The irritating taste clung to my throat as I burped.
Wiping the floor clean, I rinsed my mouth, gagging a generous amount of mouthwash to freshen my breath.
I got out of the bathroom slowly, lost in thought.
If I can remember vividly, this weird reaction to throw up at little things started a few days ago.
Strange.
I found it hard to believe that I was beginning to react to the scent of my perfume and other scented liquids that Anna used in disinfecting and refreshing the air in the house.
Maybe it was a way of my body telling me to rest.
But there was no time now.
With the Fantastic app, I was able to save up some money. Once it was complete, I would move out and rent an apartment.
I ended the video session, trimming the part where I vomited and uploading only the short dance before setting up my camera for another performance.
The moment I hit the floor to dance and did a quick split, with my hands on my thighs while I lowered my head, shaking it slowly so that my hair would fan my shoulders, tiredness hit me like a bulldozer.
My ears began to ring, and I felt lightheaded. Dizziness consumed me, and my vision blurred.
“Fuck!” I cursed slightly as my hand hit my tender boobs when I was about to stand.
Why did my boobs hurt so much?
Why are my taste buds so bitter?
Dragging myself off the floor, I collapsed on the bed tiredly, it didn’t take long before sleep overwhelmed me.
For 3 days, I’ve spent more hours sleeping than doing anything productive.
If I put the hours I slept into creativity on the app, I would have completed the money for a new apartment.
Falling asleep was easy, unlike before, when I tossed countless times before I could sleep. Except I had weird dreams that started 3 days ago.
The funny thing was the dreams were patterned the same way. It started when I suddenly saw myself alone in the woods. I was consumed by the urge to run. It was so overwhelming, it drove me insane. Then, a voice appeared in a blinding light that hung in the dark sky.
“You are almost ready.”
It would say before the light dimmed in the blink of an eye and a strange wind teleported me out of the woods.
What was about to happen?
What was I almost ready for?
I was scared to fall asleep, afraid that the same dream would repeat itself, scaring the hell out of me.
It didn’t take long before soft snores flew from my mouth as my eyes shut.
A strange wind forcefully tore me off the spot I was standing and before I knew it, I saw myself in the middle of the woods, surrounded by extremely long trees with broad canopy leaves.
Darkness loomed all over the sky, surrounding me, enshrouding the bats that flew and the insects that chirped.
The raw urge to run filled me, but instead of not being able to give in to my feelings, I felt my insides transforming. It was so hard, it wanted to tear apart.
Shielding my face with my palm as I squinted my eyes, allowing them to get used to the blinding that hung before me, I took a few steps back, craning my neck in that direction.
“You are ready!”
The strange voice boomed. Its voice echoed throughout the woods so loudly that my toes curled at the vibration against the ground.
Ready? For what?
“Liz would come to you.”
With those words, the light canister like it was never there, leaving me dumbfounded before I had the chance to speak.
My mouth parted as silent questions flew out.
Where did the voice come from?
Why did it always make an appearance to me?
Who was Liz and what was the purpose of her coming?
I wish I had an answer to the unanswered questions. But before I could whine, the familiar wind rushed from nowhere, sweeping me off my feet as we teleported back to reality.
I jolted awake with a gasp, panting hard as I tried to recollect the strange dream.
I was starting to get worried about it because this was the 4th time it occurred, except today’s own was different.
I was ready.
I could still hear the echoes of her voice…especially about Liz.
Before I could dig deeper into the thoughts, I felt a sharp sensation tore through my organs, making me yelp in pain.
It was so intense, I thought I was smothered with a hot knife.
I grabbed my chest, squeezing it hard as a tingling feeling began to spread all through.
It felt like a mild burn at first, but the intensity of the burns grew wild.
Cries left my mouth as I struggled to breathe.
It was like the air was sucked out and my lungs started to act up.
“Alpha Casper!” I tried to call, but my voice failed me.
Tears spilt down my eyes as my whole body began to sting. I thought I was about to die.
Crawling out of bed, I wiggled like an earthworm, fighting for my life as I tried to make my way to Alpha Casper’s room before a strange sensation took over me in a split second.
It felt like I was possessed and strength flooded my veins.
Like a zombie without a mind of its own, I zoomed out of the estate, running to wherever my legs could take me.
Crossing the tarred road, I made my way into the woods, chasing after nothing.
I soon halted, panting hard as tiredness overwhelmed me, making my body drop on the ground heavily.
Cloaked in confusion, I couldn’t make out what was happening. It felt like an invisible force took over my body, controlling it as it pleased.
My vision was suddenly sharp, and despite the sunset, I could make out even the tiniest detail in the woods, and my sense of hearing could pick up sounds from miles away.
My body grew extra sensitive, making me terrified at the sudden changes.
I wanted to scream, to hide as fear consumed me. I needed Aloha Casper by my side, to cuddle me and assure me that everything would be fine.
Something bad was happening to me and I could trace it to the weird dreams.
My long stream of thoughts was cut short by a sharp pain that cascaded through my body, running through every inch.
I felt my bones crack violently, rearranging and restructuring from their original position.
My beautiful long fingernails were replaced with long sharp black claws.
My heart dropped in confusion when my tongue grazed over a sharp pointed canine that replaced my teeth.
My sweet, melodious voice was gone, and I lost my ability to talk.
I released a burst of agonizing screaming as I felt brown furs sprouting out of my body, covering every inch.
As my body completed the last metamorphosis, I covered a short distance, craning my neck to meet the crescent moon that peaked behind a thick cloud.
Releasing a deafening howl, I retreated, dropping to the floor in a thud before panting weakly.
My eyes remained on the moon for a minute before slowly shutting in exhaustion.
I hope Alpha Casper finds me, or I was dead meat.
My body lay unconscious, covered in dust and sand, with my tongue sticking out.
“You will be fine, dear.” A voice in my head said weakly.
“Who are you?”
“My name is Liz and I am your wolf.”

Casper
I was preparing the reports for the pack to lighten the burden off Raphael before things started to get weird.
Pain radiated within me, making me drop to the floor as I struggled to breathe.
“Max, what’s going on?” I asked, impatiently, forcing myself to my feet.
“I think it has something to do with Lilith. I think something has happened to her,” he hissed, growling in pain before collapsing, whimpering softly.
“Go, Casper!” He urged, panting hard.
Rushing out of my room, I flung Lilith’s door open, glancing around to check for her, but her room was empty.
I knocked on the bathroom door softly before pushing it open. Still, there was no sign of her.
Dashing to my room to get my phone, I called her but the phone started to ring, indicating that she left it at home.
Her scent was still overwhelming, indicating that she just left.
Why would she barge out of the house, knowing some crazy men were after her?
A handful of them were captured, and I killed them; now she was risking her life.
I turned, about to leave the room, when something caught my eye.
A tripod stand.
What was she using a tripod stand for?
When did she venture into filming without my consent? How was she able to afford it and why did her room look familiar?
I could swear that I’d seen this room somewhere else, but I wasn’t certain.
I ran my hands on the tripod, unscrewing her phone that was attached to it before typing the passcode.
Except she recently changed it.
Now it made sense. The tripod stand, the new password.
Was Lilith hiding something from me?
