Killing without blood.
This was the description of Darnell’s red bayonet called “Bloodlust”. No one had seen the bayonet and lived to tell the tale. Yet, it did not stop the onlookers from spreading tales of it. The fighters revered it. Its reputation was built on countless corpses.
However, Darnell remained indifferent, showing no excitement.
Darnell snatched his bayonet back from Aryan. As the blade tilted, blood flowed towards the tip, forming a droplet. The droplet grew larger and then fell to the ground with a plop. The red bayonet was clean again, its color even more vivid.
Darnell was satisfied with the bayonet’s clarity. “You’re always so beautiful Bloodlust.”
He then sheathed the bayonet and threw Aryan into a car. He tampered with the fuel tank and wedged the accelerator with Aryan’s foot. Finally, he released the brake, shut the door, and let the Toyota rush towards the mountain road’s guardrail like a mad bull. With a crash, the car plunged off the cliff.
Boom!
After a chaotic series of scraping sounds, an explosion erupted from the bottom of the mountain, accompanied by flames.
Darnell waved at the fire below and then quickly ran back to his car. Concerned about the collision damage to his vehicle, he got into the driver’s seat and drove away.
Half an hour later, Darnell arrived at the Bauhinias Residences. Seeing Areli still asleep, he sighed. It seemed she was truly exhausted.
Otherwise, she wouldn’t still be asleep. He decided to be kind and carried her up to the eighteenth floor, entering smoothly with a password and fingerprint.
After opening the door, he placed Areli on the sofa and poured her a glass of water.
She wore a straight and sexy professional outfit, black stockings on long legs, and black leather shoes. Her short skirt was tightly stretched, outlining an alluring curve. A button on her shirt was undone, revealing her graceful neck.
Areli’s tall and curvy figure became even more enticing as she relaxed on the sofa.
Although Darnell had been intimate with Areli not long ago, seeing her alluring body again made him swallow hard.
Darnell reminded himself not to act rashly and went to pour himself a glass of water to calm down.
As he drank water and covered Areli with a blanket, she moaned softly, turned her body slightly, and parted her legs at an angle.
Darnell’s eyes widened as he accidentally spat out his water onto her skirt’s edge.
The water seeped through her skirt onto her stockings and spread across her thigh skin, glistening.
Worried she might catch a cold, Darnell picked up the glass and placed it aside. He then reached under her skirt to remove her stockings.
At that moment, Areli opened her beautiful eyes and saw his hand in an intimate position. “What are you doing?”
Darnell replied weakly, “Nothing.”
“Am I poisoned again?”
“No!”
“If not poisoned, why is your hand there?”
“To take off your stockings!”
“Why take off my stockings?”
“They’re wet…”
“Why are they wet?”
“From my spit…”
Darnell turned and ran.
Any explanation would only make things worse. He had to run quickly.
“Bastard!”
Areli jumped up and chased him with a knife.
Reaching his car downstairs, Darnell locked the doors securely and checked twice before breathing heavily in relief. He feared Areli might come after him for revenge.
He then made a video call. Soon, Wendy appeared on screen in white pajamas that perfectly showcased her curvaceous figure.
She stood barefoot by a spotless glass window with an upturned mouth corner, lazy, tender, yet slightly indifferent.
At first glance, Wendy looked like an innocent girl. However, her vividly red lips hinted at danger. One taste from them could mean death.
No man could resist her beauty or those provocative lips, alluring yet perilous.
Someone once offered a billion dollars for her services but ended up dead.
Seeing Darnell’s call made Wendy smile enchantingly. “Darnell, is there something important?”
Sensing something significant from Darnell’s initiative contact made Wendy drop any flirtation. “Is it about our client?”
Looking at those fiery red lips, Darnell nodded slightly. “Tonight, three men from Baycliff planned to kidnap Areli.”
“They’re acting so soon?” Wendy’s eyes flickered with surprise. “Kidnapping Areli now holds no value.”
“Only when Utopia is developed within Areli’s mind does she become invaluable.” Wendy analyzed sharply before saying, “Kidnapping now equals starting over entirely.”
“Not to mention that Areli would resist. Even if she cooperated one hundred percent, without the original data, she wouldn’t be able to figure out the formula in a short time.”
“It would take at least another two or three years to reach the current level.”
“After waiting for so long, what’s the big deal waiting for another three to five months? The Baycliff people must be insane, making a move at this time.”
Darnell stretched lazily and said, “But they did make a move, and one of them is a Level-7 warrior named Aryan Veale.”
“Aryan?”
Wendy sat down at a white table, and her pretty face changed slightly upon hearing Darnell’s words. “A Level-7 warrior?”
After receiving confirmation from Darnell, she turned on her computer and started typing away.
“In our intelligence database, there is no one named Aryan among the Level-7 warriors. It’s estimated that he is someone who has just entered the Level-7 realm.”
“Unfortunately, we only focus on the strong people above Level-7, so we don’t have his information for the time being.”
Wendy acted decisively. “But I have already connected to Baycliff, and I believe we will have an answer soon.”
She didn’t ask where the three Baycliff people went, because she was very clear in her heart that anyone who opposed Darnell would undoubtedly die.
Darnell leaned back in his chair, stretching his body. “Of the three of them, two were knocked off the cliff by me, and one was stabbed through the throat by me. The car exploded, and their bodies were unrecognizable. But to avoid the involvement of Westergold’s authority, you should give our client a heads-up to quietly deal with the incident.”
Wendy smiled, “Don’t worry. He will handle it.”
“If possible, ask him to hire a few reliable bodyguards to protect Areli, either openly or covertly.”
Darnell offered a suggestion. “With more people around her for protection, it can deter some villains and make the other side hesitant to act easily.”
“She’s wandering around alone all day. If I was a bad person, I would want to kidnap her. Of course, the main reason is that I’m the only one watching her, and I don’t have time to flirt with girls.”
He hoped that Areli would have more bodyguards to keep some vicious people like Roberto away from her and to avoid something bad happening to her. Plus, he wanted to control the whole situation both openly and covertly.
Wendy nodded. “Okay, I will inform our client to make some arrangements.”
“Aren’t you supposed to watch over Areli tonight?”
Darnell sighed, “Don’t you see me in the car? I’m afraid I’ll have to stay up half the night.”
Although Aryan wanted to kill him, he didn’t want anything unexpected to happen to Areli.
“As long as there are carrots, I believe you can hold out for a year in the car.”
Wendy smiled, and then her eyes sparkled. “The news from Baycliff is here. Aryan, a member of Hades Fight Club, joined under the tutelage of Toby Ramsey with his own skills.”
“As a top-tier disciple of Toby, he has challenged sixty-five warriors, with a hundred percent win rate, and all his opponents died.”
Reading this, she felt a bit regretful. It was clear that Aryan was a strong man of his time and had the potential to become a grand master, but unfortunately, he met Darnell.
“Last month, he broke through the Level-6 realm. His killer move is Annihilation Slash. He left Baycliff three days ago, and his destination was Lightford.”
Darnell straightened up slightly. “The Hades Fight Club? Even Diego Pickett wants to get Utopia?”
A smile appeared at the corner of his mouth. “Utopia seems to be really valuable.”
“Of course.”
Wendy’s red lips parted slightly. “Otherwise, why would our client pay a lot of money to ask you to protect Areli? Don’t worry, I will find out the reason why the Hades Fight Club kidnapped Areli.”
Darnell said faintly, “One day, I will kill Diego and Toby.”
“You should pursue Areli.”
Wendy smiled coquettishly, “So you can live with her, and it will be more convenient to protect her.”
Darnell hesitated for a long time, then spoke up, “Isn’t this not appropriate?”
“Of course, it’s not good!”
Wendy’s pretty face fell. “The client has repeatedly instructed that you are not allowed to have emotional entanglements with Areli. Otherwise, he will kill you.”
Darnell’s eyes narrowed slightly. “Can he kill me?”
Wendy hesitated for a while and gave an answer. “There is a 30% chance.”
Thirty percent was quite high.
Darnell suddenly became curious about their client.
Meanwhile, in a villa in the suburbs, Roberto and several men sat in the first-floor hall, their faces gloomy as they smoked.
From time to time, the screams of a woman echoed in their ears, and it was unclear whether it was out of satisfaction or pain.
Roberto glanced at the time. An hour had passed, and Brian had not yet finished. He instinctively touched his buttocks, feeling a bit fortunate.
Ten minutes later, the door on the right side of the first floor opened, and Brian walked out, exhausted. He regained his rationality after venting.
Through the slightly open door, two tall women covered with blankets could be clearly seen, limp on the 1. 8-meter-wide bed.
Brian knelt down in front of Roberto with guilt. “Mr. Gower, I’m sorry. I was set up by Darnell. That cigarette…”
“What’s the use of saying that?”
Roberto kicked him over and snorted, “We have to repay the humiliation tenfold.”
After saying that, Roberto suddenly laughed loudly, malice hidden within his eyes. “He’s dead meat!”
