Chapter 2420: Overfilled Again!

“Hide!” Greta said.
“Hide?” Billy was puzzled. “What do you mean?”
“Look around. What do you see?” Greta asked.
“Books and bookshelves!” Billy responded.
“Besides books and bookshelves?” Greta continued.
“Nothing else!” Billy said.
“Follow me!” Greta led Billy straight ahead.
After passing several bookshelves, they arrived at a large circular clearing.
“Walk around here!” Greta instructed.
“Okay!” Billy replied and began walking towards the center.
At first, Billy didn’t notice anything unusual, but soon he felt something strange.
He could clearly feel something bumping into him, not too forcefully or quickly, with an impact area about the size of a fist.
What surprised him was that whether he used his eyes or his mental perception, he saw nothing, as if he was being hit by air currents.
But he was sure it wasn’t air; there was something real hitting him.
“Greta, what’s going on? What’s here?” Billy turned to ask Greta.
“See for yourself!” Greta said, forming a complex seal with her hands and sending it into the air.
The next moment, a strong aura spread out, and the surrounding pressure increased significantly.
Billy then saw an astonishing sight.
Floating around him were numerous characters, each about the size of a fist, completely transparent and of indiscernible material.
The bumps he felt were evidently caused by these floating characters.
“Greta, what is this?” Billy asked again.
“The technique on this floor is ‘Invisibility’!” Greta didn’t directly answer Billy’s question.
“If you can comprehend this technique, you can achieve true invisibility, unseen by the naked eye and undetectable by mental perception.”
“That amazing?” Billy’s eyes lit up.
What a great thing!
If he could achieve true invisibility, it would be incredibly useful!
“Yes!” Greta nodded. “Of course, if someone has a higher cultivation level than the owner of the Heaven Book, that’s another story!”
“Understood!” Billy responded.
After a brief pause, he asked, “Does comprehending it mean I can become invisible anytime and for as long as I want?”
“You’re overthinking it!” Greta said.
“Activating this technique consumes a lot of mental energy. You can only do it if you have enough mental strength.”
“In other words, how long you can stay invisible depends on how long your mental energy lasts.”
“Got it!” Billy nodded again. “How do I comprehend it?”
“I only know the key lies in those floating characters!” Greta replied.
“But I don’t know exactly how to comprehend it because I haven’t figured it out myself!”
“Are you sure?” Billy pressed.
“I’m sure!” Greta nodded firmly.
“Let me take a look!” Billy said, then focused on the floating characters in the air.
Soon, his face fell. He recognized each character individually but couldn’t understand them together.
However, compared to the characters and patterns on the surface of the Heaven Book, these characters were much easier to understand.
“Don’t be discouraged. Comprehending the Heaven Book isn’t something that happens overnight. Take your time!” Greta smiled faintly.
“Now that you know how to enter the Tower of Heaven Book, come back whenever you have time. Maybe one day you’ll have an epiphany.”
“Yes!” Billy nodded.
“Alright, let’s go out!” Greta continued. “I’ll take you somewhere else!”
“Where?” Billy asked after a brief pause.
“You’ll see when we get there!” Greta replied.
Soon after leaving the Tower of Heaven Book, Greta led Billy flying forward through the air.
After about two quarters of an hour, they landed at the edge of a towering cliff, below which thick fog obscured the bottom.
Billy could sense that the spiritual energy here was at least two to three times denser than in other places.
“Billy, there’s a Spiritual Line Origin below the cliff, and it’s high-level!” Purple Spirit’s excited voice sounded in Billy’s mind.
“Really?” Billy asked in his sea of consciousness.
“Really!” Purple Spirit replied. “Can I go down and check it out?”
Billy’s mouth twitched. “Wait!”
He then turned to Greta and asked, “Greta, why did you bring me here?”
“You should have a Spiritual Line Origin in your body,” Greta pointed to the cliff below.
“Let her go down and try. If she can refine the Spiritual Line Origin below, her level should increase significantly!”
Before she finished speaking, Purple Spirit emerged from Billy’s body.
She looked at Greta and said, “Thank you, Greta!”
“No need to thank me!” Greta smiled. “But be careful. Don’t push yourself too hard. Don’t get yourself hurt!”
“I’ll handle it in a friendly manner!” Purple Spirit said before diving straight down the cliff.
“Purple Spirit, take it easy!” Billy’s mouth twitched again.
“Don’t worry!” Purple Spirit’s voice floated up from the fog.
Then, Greta had Billy take out the first volume of the Heaven Book and began teaching him how to decipher its information.
Each floor of the Tower of Heaven Book had different entry methods and ways to access core techniques, all encoded in the characters and patterns on the Heaven Book.
Time flew by, and an hour passed unnoticed.
With Greta’s guidance, Billy barely got started but at least gained a basic understanding of the characters and patterns on the Heaven Book.
He felt confident that he could understand some parts of the other volumes of the Heaven Book when he saw them.
“Why is there no movement below?” After a while, Billy put away the Heaven Book and looked down the cliff.
“Didn’t she say she’d handle it? She’s probably working hard on it!” Greta smiled again.
Before she finished speaking, a violent commotion erupted from below the cliff. The thick fog churned like a stormy sea, shaking the ground like an earthquake.
Is this handling it friendly?
“She seems to have quite a temper!” Greta’s mouth also twitched slightly.
The commotion lasted for nearly a quarter of an hour before gradually subsiding.
Soon after, a purple figure shot up from the bottom of the cliff-it was Purple Spirit.
She looked slightly disheveled, like a wilted eggplant.
“How did it go?” Greta asked with a smile.
“The Spiritual Line Origin here has an even worse temper than mine. It fights at the slightest disagreement. So unreserved.” Purple Spirit pouted in response.
“Failed?” Billy also smiled.
“Hehe, no way!” Purple Spirit grinned. “Though she was very unwilling, I eventually convinced her.”
After a brief pause, she continued, “Billy, I can’t chat now. I’m overfilled; I need to sleep…”
With that, she turned into a purple light and disappeared into Billy’s body.
Overfilled again?
