OBSESSED WITH ME?

Book:Rejecting All My Alpha Stepbrother Mates Published:2024-11-28

“Can you-rule the world without an Alpha?”
“What?” What was that just now? Why was his soft gaze getting to me?
“If an Alpha isn’t alive to produce sperm to fertilize the eggs in Omegas, how would Omegas give birth?”
“But-”
“You seem to forget that.” He cut in. “In this world, alphas are the kings. No matter what you do, people, I mean, the world looks up to alphas more than Omegas. If you want to go to the top of the world like an alpha, it’s going to take so much of your power to get to the top.”
“…”
He drew closer to me. “You are my mate, right?”
I couldn’t give an answer.
“That bitch right there belongs to all of us.” His footprint, echos and his shades of shoes were making it mysterious. “Don’t tell me you came all the way here to seek revenge?”
“Gerhard.” I whispered.
Chris slightly rolls his eyes. “Why do you always interfere in my actions?”
Gerhard remarked. “Didn’t mean to interrupt you. I just couldn’t wait to set my eyes on my mate.”
He put his right hand inside his pocket in his black fitted suit. He was nearly the same as the last time I saw him as he walked majestically in our direction.
“Hello Wendy.” He smirked. “I thought you planned on dying inside that prison.”
“Unfortunately, Sihwa brought his ass to the prison.” I remarked back. “You’ve changed.”
“No, we didn’t change. You did.”
“What are you talking about?”
“After you ran away with your vagina between your legs, did you think most of us were gonna be the same way you left?”
“I don’t know what you are talking-” Gerhard slapped me so hard on my left cheek. He turned my other cheek so fast and smacked my right cheek, I lost my balance and fell to the floor.
“That was harsh, Gerhard.” Chris nonchalantly commented and folded his arms over his chest. “Don’t ruin her pretty face.”
“You are a useless piece of shit.” He snarled at me.
I got up with a glare. What has come over him? Has four years of being away taken a drastic toll on him? He wasn’t the innocent Gerhard I knew anymore.
He has…changed so much.
“This is about to go down.” Chris sang nonchalantly.
Gerhard swiftly caught my right arm, attempting to smack him in the face as I stood up.
“You wouldn’t dare do such a thing, Wendy. I will design your face in rumbles before you even breathe. Don’t mess with me.” He forcefully pushed me. In a flash, Chris moved behind me and stopped me from falling and slamming my head to the floor.
His hands held my waist.
“Who’s hungry?” He suddenly asked and let go of me. Chris walked up to my gaze and laughed. “You must be hungry. What do you feel like eating? Tell me. I’m an excellent cook.”
We are in the middle of a fight. He’s asking me if I’m hungry?
“This is not the time to eat,” Gerhard announced in annoyance.
“If you are hungry, you can’t fight properly, but if you’ve eaten. You can fight.”
“I don’t care.” Gerhard remarked. “I never said I was hungry.”
“What about you, Wendy?” His gaze fixed on me without blinking. “Don’t you wanna eat something before you start the day?”
“I’m not-” my stomach growled loudly. My right hand touched my belly.
“I will prepare something. Wait at the dining table over there. The food will get ready in minutes.” He strolled past me and moved to the kitchen with a little smile on his face.
I didn’t know I was hungry. Was he truly preparing food for someone he hadn’t met before?
No, I perceived his scent on the night of the full moon. But why did he disappear that night?
He is the fourth son of Aaron. How come I have never seen him at the mansion before?
I turned to Gerhard in front of me with a glare. “Don’t raise your hand in my face again.” I could still feel the sting on my cheeks. “I’m not letting this go any further because you are just like me. I don’t want to fight you.”
That was the truth. I still see the image of him as a kid. We were friends four years ago.
Fighting between ourselves wouldn’t make sense. Memories of us from years ago were still on my mind. Those flashbacks were stopping me from getting violent with him, even though he just smacked me a minute ago.
“What!” He scoffed. “Like you? Don’t be delusional, Wendy. I’m not like you.” His eyes glowed for a second before he grimaced.
“What happened to you, Gerhard? You’ve changed so much.”
“Do you know what happened to me? No. You don’t know, Wendy?”
“That’s why I’m asking you. We used to be close as kids. Why are you suddenly on Sihwa’s side? Why did you choose to be his lap dog?”
I heard what he told me at the prison. His aura, attitude, and mannerisms changed.
“His lap dog? What do you know about being someone’s lapdog? You grew up in a fancy cage. You know nothing about me. Why did you choose to be a runaway? Do you know the pain each of us goes through every day because of you? How do you abandon everyone? No, you know nothing. You think you are all that special, Wendy?”
“Gerhard.” I held his arm when I moved closer to him. “Talk to me.” He pulled his arm off my hand.
“Don’t you dare touch me again?” He yelled. “Everyone will get here in a few minutes. They will beat the shit out of you. Be ready to face them. After all, you are the reason most of us got killed. 19 children of Alpha Aaron became 10 of us. Sihwa murdered 9 of us because of you. The remaining ones are Grimm, Chris, Donovan, Kellan…”
Kellan?
“Riot, Lykan, Zane, Soren and me.” He named all of them. “Sometimes I wonder what Sihwa sees in you.”
“You are Wendy Grimwolf? You are his mate, right?”
Why does each of them keep popping out of nowhere, calling out my name?
My eyes widened when I realized I had heard this voice before. It was the same alpha I angrily stood up to in front of the crowd. He was the one who ordered the guards to arrest me, calling me an imposter.
“The Omega who ran away four years ago?”
“Yes-” I felt a heavy punch across my face. He gave me a swift kick on my chin. I felt blood in my mouth as I slammed to the floor with a thud.
“You got some nerve to invade the Grimwolf pack?”
He smells like Sihwa.
I spat the blood from my mouth with a pant. “Who are you?”
“You sad slut of a bitch.”
