“Purple Spirit, stop talking nonsense!” White Feather’s mouth twitched slightly.
“Billy, what the master means is that the mystic art can indeed be useful for some common special bloodlines.”
“Once mastered, it can quickly boost combat power by leveraging the bloodline, but afterward, it will leave one extremely weak.”
“What about me?” Billy asked again.
“Your bloodline is extremely special. Until your cultivation reaches a certain level, it’s best not to use this mystic art lightly,” White Feather responded.
“Otherwise, as you saw earlier, you won’t be able to control your bloodline. If it weren’t for the master’s intervention, the consequences would have been severe.”
“It could damage your meridians; at worst, you could go mad or even die!”
“Alright,” Billy shrugged.
He didn’t want to experience that feeling again; it was too uncomfortable.
“Billy, you might not know this, but when you used the mystic art just now, even White Feather felt like his bloodline was about to explode!” Purple Spirit added.
“Oh?” Billy looked at White Feather in surprise. “Did it really feel that way?”
“Yes,” White Feather nodded.
“The master said it’s because of bloodline suppression. Your bloodline level is higher than mine, so I had that reaction.”
“Fortunately, my bloodline level is decent; otherwise, I wouldn’t have been able to resist.”
“So would an ordinary person with a common bloodline explode?” Billy asked.
“No,” White Feather shook his head. “Ordinary people are not affected; only those with special bloodlines or beings are influenced.”
“Got it,” Billy nodded.
After resting for another hour, Billy left the Nine Dragons Cauldron and returned to his hotel room.
He then knocked on the door of the adjacent room, but there was no response. Greta had evidently not returned yet.
Billy then strolled out of the hotel, looking for a place to grab a bite to eat.
As he walked down the street, a terrifying pressure suddenly enveloped the area, causing most passersby to shiver involuntarily.
“You finally showed up!” A man’s voice reached Billy’s ears.
Billy looked up and saw a group of over ten people standing in mid-air.
Leading them was Channing Larsen from the Borderless Nation, whom Billy had met recently. Behind him was Elder Luciano, a ninth-rank Condensed Kun Realm expert.
The others were also powerful; the strongest was an old woman at the same level as Channing Larsen, seventh-rank Condensed Kun Realm, and the weakest was seventh-rank Supreme Source Realm.
“You came quickly,” Billy said calmly as he rose into the air.
He knew that after causing such a commotion in Celestial City, the Borderless Nation would be aware and easily track his movements.
Hovering in mid-air, he addressed them, “You came to avenge your prince with just this few people? Do you underestimate me?”
“How arrogant!” The seventh-rank Condensed Kun Realm old woman spoke up.
“A mere eighth-rank Supreme Source Realm dares to boast so shamelessly. You truly don’t know your limits!”
“If you want to kill me, follow me to another place,” Billy said as he flew towards the outskirts.
“Let’s see if you can still talk big later!” Channing Larsen and his group followed closely behind.
Soon, they arrived at an open space outside the city walls.
“Boy, have you decided how you want to die?”
A fifth-rank Condensed Kun Realm man looked at Billy coldly. “Daring to kill our prince, you truly don’t know what death means…”
“Enough with the nonsense!” Billy interrupted and looked at Channing Larsen. “You must have more people. Call them out; you’re no match for me!”
He knew the Borderless Nation must have investigated the Celestial Pavilion incident thoroughly.
Two ninth-rank Condensed Kun Realm experts had died by his hand. If they came for revenge, they wouldn’t bring just these few people.
“You are truly arrogant beyond measure!” The fifth-rank Condensed Kun Realm man continued.
“You talk too much!” Billy glanced at him and swung his blade.
“You seek death!” The man did not retreat but formed a seal with his hand to meet the attack.
“Be careful!” Elder Luciano intervened simultaneously.
He had witnessed Billy’s skills firsthand and knew the man couldn’t withstand it.
A loud explosion echoed as the blade light and their attacks collided, shattering the void.
Billy and Elder Luciano retreated hundreds of meters before stabilizing. The fifth-rank Condensed Kun Realm man was sent flying four or five kilometers away.
His internal organs and meridians were severely damaged, and he spat out a mouthful of blood.
If Elder Luciano hadn’t blocked nearly half of the force, his body wouldn’t have withstood it. He looked at Billy with fear in his eyes.
“If you’re not calling for more people, then let’s fight. Let’s see if you can kill me!” Billy continued to address Channing Larsen.
“Did you steal the Heaven Book from Celestial Pavilion?” Channing Larsen asked.
“Do you want it?” Billy glanced at him.
Although he didn’t steal the Heaven Book from Celestial Pavilion, it was indeed in his possession now.
“Hand over the Nine Dragons Cauldron and the two Heaven Books, and I’ll spare your life!” Channing Larsen demanded.
“You’re an idiot,” Billy replied. “Are you going to fight or not? If not, don’t waste my time; I have things to do!”
With that, he turned and flew towards the city.
“Stay here!” Elder Luciano shouted and chased after him.
In an instant, a spear whirled like a top towards Billy, distorting the void with its immense power.
Facing a full-force attack from a ninth-rank Condensed Kun Realm expert, Billy didn’t take it lightly and met it with Slaughter Sky.
The deafening explosion caused the void to collapse as both figures were sent flying thousands of meters apart. The others were also blown away by the shockwave.
Elder Luciano stabilized after retreating three or four thousand meters, his breath slightly disordered.
After a brief pause, he disappeared and reappeared next to Billy with a punch that shattered the void.
Billy had been pushed back seven or eight thousand meters by the shockwave but was uninjured.
Seeing Elder Luciano attack again, he didn’t confront him head-on but used Nether Wings to dodge swiftly.
However, Elder Luciano didn’t intend to stop there.
With a fierce look in his eyes, he unleashed violent waves of energy that stirred up a storm in the void.
Billy’s eyes narrowed as he continuously rotated his wrist to form a blade domain. The sky filled with blade lights clashed with Elder Luciano’s attacks, causing chaos in the void.
But it wasn’t over yet. Moments later, Billy activated Skybinder again.
With both domains overlapping, Elder Luciano felt pressured immediately. His power dropped by nearly twenty percent, and his reaction speed noticeably slowed down.
Without hesitation, Elder Luciano frowned and retreated rapidly.
He knew that without the domain’s influence, he could defeat Billy within ten moves. But with the domain’s support, he had no confidence in winning.
“Aren’t you here to kill me? Why are you running so soon?” Billy’s voice reached his ears.
As he spoke, Slaughter Sky tore through the void towards him…
