Soon, the much-anticipated auspicious day of the 5th arrived. Summer and Spencer were to be married today, and this joyous event added a golden touch to an otherwise ordinary day.
The scene was grand with phoenix crowns and red bridal attire stretching for miles. The wedding’s main colors were red and gold, rich in detail. Red and gold are classic colors in traditional weddings, creating a festive and joyful atmosphere. Guests felt the meticulous effort put into the wedding decor as soon as they entered.
The lights above sparkled brilliantly, various elements enhancing the overall stage view, leaving all guests in awe. The entire setting was particularly grand and magnificent.
The wedding did not invite too many people, only close family and friends. The children from the club, Elisa, Andrew, and Aubree, also returned. Handsome Alfie and adorable Diana served as flower children; they had grown taller and inherited their parents’ charisma and striking looks. The children were not at all stage-shy and completed their tasks excellently.
The host’s clear and resonant voice officially opened the wedding ceremony. Mr. Campell and Mrs. Campell were deeply moved, often tearful but always smiling.
Agnes, serving as the bridesmaid today, looked particularly beautiful. She had been looking forward to this since last night, though she missed seeing Tom among the groomsmen. Despite being good friends with her brother-in-law, Tom had just gone abroad and was unlikely to return soon.
Sure enough, when Spencer told her that Tom had sent them a generous gift, she couldn’t help but feel a bit disappointed. Her brother-in-law also mentioned that Tom’s experiment abroad would take at least six months of intense work. Agnes thought it might be challenging to meet him again in this lifetime.
Today, Summer wore three custom-made outfits, each exceptionally beautiful. Many envied her for marrying for love. During the wedding, Spencer took the microphone and promised everyone, “From now on, Summer and her family are my closest people. Please rest assured in entrusting your daughter to me, and please move in with us!”
He had said he would take care of Mr. Campell and Mrs. Campell in their old age, providing them with a sense of security-he wasn’t joking.
Agnes envied her sister even more; such marriages were rare gems. How fortunate it is to marry someone you deeply love who loves you just as much?
“Agnes, it’s time to think about your marriage next; you’re not getting any younger,” Spencer said to his sister.
Agnes merely smiled without directly responding.
Ansel also attended today’s wedding; he dressed maturely in a suit and didn’t hover around Agnes but never took his eyes off her.
During the banquet, Spencer specially brought Summer over to toast Aubree.
“Thank you for taking the time to return home for our wedding; we are truly touched by your blessing.”
“Why are you talking like strangers? We’re family,” Aubree said with a broad smile, genuinely happy for him.
“Even though you’re having your in-laws live with you, if you ever need help with the kids in the future, just let me know. I’ll help just as I did with your brother.”
“Alright! I’ll remember that!” Spencer replied joyfully.
“Please enjoy yourself; I’ll go greet Summer’s uncles.”
“Go ahead,” Aubree responded with a gentle smile.
