PALACE LIBRARY
“Gosh, when will this stop?” Brielle groaned as she checked the window again, the rain was still falling endlessly.
She was there before the rain started and she wasn’t even sure anyone knows about her absence in her chamber, her maids possibly retired for the night already.
Her mind went to Jim.
” Should I call him?
I don’t even have his number she sighed
“That kid is always useless during times like this” She scoffed.
At that moment, the door opened and someone came in, holding a lamp.
“Jim?” Princess Brielle immediately called.
The person said nothing and continue walking closer to her.
“Who are you?” Brielle asked.
“It’s me kiddo” Carla answered, raising the lamp up so she would see his face.
“You scared me” Brielle muttered.
“I will take you to your room, I came with an umbrella” Carla said.
“Thank you” Brielle said and like that they both left the library.
It was so quiet and awkward, Brielle decided to start up a conversation.
Princess Brielle turned to Carla
” About Early”What happened exactly? What got the Alpha so mad?” She asked
“Sabrina must have bullied her, she was in tears when the alpha saw her”Carla explained
“And why would Sabrina do that?” Brielle snapped
“Probably because she sees her as a threat .
I hate her guts Brielle muttered
“I’m glad brother finally decided to take a step and accept Amora, I can’t wait to have their pups” Brielle said dreamily and Carlachuckled
“Kiddo, you shouldn’t be impatient” He said
“What do you mean inpatient? I’ve been patient for ten years, I’m an heroin” She said and Carla. I’m sure Mother wants Same too Brielle continued
“I understand kiddo it’s amazing that he finally accepted his mate” he said
“Don’t worry, yours will definitely come soon. The alpha got his, the beta should follow” Brielle said and Carla smile
” What do you know about mates?” Kiddo.
Alot” , to know that your mate is coming, just wait small Brielle said
“I’m patiently waiting” He said
Brielle tapped his shoulder
“Trust me” She said
“Uhm, I will walk you to your chamber” Carla immediately said when she made an attempt to walk away
“You shouldn’t…..”
“The alpha doesn’t need me now, so let me follow you, I can’t let you go alone” Carla insisted
Princess Brielle nodded and they continue walking together.
“How did you find out I was there?” She questioned.
“I was walking at the back of the library when you opened the door and complained about the rain, so I guess you didn’t have any umbrella with you” Carla replied and Brielle smiled.
“That’s so thoughtful of you, thanks” She said.
“It’s nothing kiddo” Carla muttered.
“Still, thank you. I wouldn’t have a choice than to enter the rain, but then my cold can be crazy, I might just fall sick, so you saved me” Brielle said. and Came in front when they arrived at her suite.
“Goodnight” She smiled.
“Goodnight Kiddo” Carla said
“I will prefer Brielle though” Brielle muttered and without waiting for his response, she went in and closed the door.
Carla turned and walked away smiling
Jim was sitting alone, he was drinking from the wine bottle directly, the night breeze blowing freely in the castle.
He suddenly felt someone sitting beside him and he turned his face to see Knight staring at him.
“Any problem?” He asked coldly
“Why are you always cold toward Mara he asked
Jim scoffed and made to stand up but knight pulled him back
“She likse you” he said
“Are you crazy?” Jim throw his hand off himself
“I’m serious!” Knight said
“Exactly why I said she’s crazy” Jim hissed and meant to walked away
Wait… You like her , don’t you?
“Who”?

She has a name. Her name is Amora.
“Well” , she’s the Alpha’s mate… And you know what that means
“Are you concerned about me”? Or you just want me to be with that Witch.
Jim hissed and walked away
“That jerk” Mara pouted sadly, staring from her hiding place till he was out of sight.
NEXT MORNING**
Amora opened her eyes slowly to the room brightness, she looked around to see it different from her room, she was in Alpha Ace’s room, on his bed. She gasped and sat up immediately, at that moment, she had a flashback of the last night event and smiled.
“So beautiful”, Amora said staring at Ace’s Name on her hand

Ace came out from the dressing room.
Their eyes came in contact and nobody looked away.
“You’re awake” Alpha Ace said and Amora nodded.
“But, how did I get here??” She asked.
Amora slowly lay back on the bed, smiling inwardly.
“Are you okay?? Do you feel any pain??” Alpha Ace asked and she shook her head.
“I’m fine” She muttered.
Ace moved to the mirror, checking himself out.
“Where are you going??” Amora asked, staring at him.
“I have a meeting with the elders” Ace replied.
“Do you have to look so handsome when going??” Amora asked and Alpha Ace faced her.
“My handsomeness is too hard to cover” He winked and Amora scoffed.
“It’s annoying” she said and Ace chuckled.
“Does sex make girls more bold??” He asked and Amora’s eyes widened with embarrassment.
“What are you talking about??”
“Why are you acting so jealous all of a sudden? I’ve been looking hot without any compliments from you….”
“I’m not jealous, I am just saying, you’re dressing so hot just because… gosh, just forget it” She turned her back on him.
“Don’t worry, I’m not interested in her again” Alpha Ace muttered.
“Who are you talking about??” Amora
asked.
Sabrina of course, who else??”
“I never asked” Amora scoffed.
“Really?? Then I should go to her….”
“Hey!!” Amora yelled and Alpha Ace nodded.
Alpha Ace moved closer to the bed and removed the duvet from her face.
“I won’t pity you next time” He whispers and Amora kept quiet, staring at his moving lips, she wanted to kiss him so badly.
“Come here” Ace muttered and carried her in a bridal style.
“Where are we going??”
“The bathroom, you should wash up. I prepared a warm bath for you” Alpha Ace said and Lily smiled
“I love you Alpha Ace muttered and dropped her in the bathtub filled with warm soap water.
“Oo oo ohhh” Amora moaned with her eyes closed.
“Don’t make that sound again” Ace said and Amora looked at him.
“Alpha ” Carla mind linked you. The elders are waiting
“I can’t wait, I need to go” Alpha Ace said and turned to go out almost immediately.
“This feels so good” Brielle moaned and sink her whole self into the water.
Minutes later, the door opened and Princess Brielle came in.
“Are you planning to turn into a fish?” She asked and Amora chuckled
“I’m in his room” She grinned and Brielle smiled.
“I know, does it feel good??” She asked and Amora immediately nodded.
“He’s acting so nice, he even carried me here, I love this side of him more, I feel like crying” Amora said and princess Brielle smiled.
“I’m so happy for you” she said.
Amora grinned and they both continue smiling at each other like some competition.
