It’s been two days since my affair with Elena made waves on the entertainment circle. Two days of trying to reach out to her without any success. She has blocked me off her life. Even my attempts to reach her through her friend has proved to be futile.
She doesn’t want to see me, and it is my fault. I’ve hurt her. I’ve made her cry and humiliated her, and now I’m paying the price for it.
I have been staring at her pictures for hours. My eyes have been tracing the outline of her face and her beautiful smile, her soft lips. I miss her so much. The pain that’s inside me is unbearable.
The clip of us kissing was shared online by Jessica, my ex girlfriend. She made sure to say all nasty things about Elena. That she seduced me and that’s why we broke up. In the eyes of the public, Elena is now a shameless woman who stole me from my ex-girlfriend. She even dig deeper into proving that Elena was a woman of no virtue by exposing about her sex life. This has made her company hit w rock.
I was supposed to protect her, and instead, I ended up harming her in ways I couldn’t even fathom. I have tried cleaning after Jessica’s mess but someone seems to be working to keep the hype alive.
I don’t even know how the hell she got hold of that clip. I didn’t realize I was being filmed. If she wanted to blackmail me, then she could have done that in the first place, instead of trying to ruin my woman’s career.
I don’t know how or why Jessica is behaving the way she is. We both knew the relationship was toxic, and neither of us had any intention of trying to keep it going. I have moved on and I was hoping that she had too.
The knock on the door makes me get up from the couch. My house is a mess because I’m unable to do anything since the incident. I’m feeling down, and I can’t seem to think straight. I don’t want to.
“What do you want?” I ask, irritated, as soon as I open the door.
“Good to see you too, brother” Leo says, pushing me aside. He enters the house and takes a look around. “This place is a mess”
“So what are you here for? Come to rub the shit in?” I ask him, shutting the door.
“Actually I came to give you some good news.” Leo announces and I groan.
” I don’t want to hear it. Take care of the company while I am away.” I reply. Any good news without Elena is no good news.
” You might want to listen before you dismiss me.” Leo presses.
” I really don’t want…”
” It’s about your beloved Elena. She will be at our company today. She requested a meeting and because I know you are dying to see her, I scheduled one in,” he checks his wrist watch, “… two hours.”
” What?! Why didn’t you tell me sooner?!” I snap at him, making him laugh.
” You are welcome.” He replies, still laughing.
” Fuck! Why is she coming?” I ask, rushing towards my room.
” For business purposes. Her company is crumbling and if my guess is right, she wants a partnership to stabilize her company.” Leo informs me, trutting behind me.
” If the situation with her company is not contained, the boat might sink.” He adds.

I pace around the meeting room, my eyes glued to the door. She will be here any moment now. I can’t wait to see her and perhaps hug her if she allows me that luxury.
” Can you stop pacing? You are making me dizzy.” Leo complains, looking through some documents.
” Don’t you have something to do? Leave me alone.” I snap and he shakes his head.
” You know, if she comes in and sees you acting like a crazy man, she will probably walk out.” Leo says, not lifting his eyes from the document.
” I will act normal when she comes.” I reply, trying to fix my appearance. That’s a lie and I know it. Doesn’t stop me from saying it though. I can’t keep calm. I have not seen her for three days and she hasn’t picked my calls. My only hope is that she comes in.
When our secretary arrives to announce that Elena is on her way up, my heart rate
immediately increases.
” Just breathe.” Leo whispers. ” And stop looking like a mad man.”
I try to relax my face and act normal. I have never felt this nervous in my entire life. Not even when I started this company with Leo five years ago.
I signal to Leo and he rolls his eyes before walking to receive her. I stand behind my desk, waiting anxiously for her.
When she walks in, I am taken aback by her beauty. Her long, straight hair falls down her shoulders. She’s wearing a grey pencil skirt that hugs her hips, a white blouse and a grey suit jacket.
God! She looks breathtaking… As always.
” My Spencer, sorry for my impromptu request.” She says as Leo ushers her to the meeting room. I suddenly feel like we should have opted for my office and not this big ass room.
” It’s nothing. You are always welcomed.” Leo replies. Elena’s eyes scan the room and that’s when our gazes collide. Anger overtakes the fake smile she wore earlier, a glare fixed on me.
” What’s going on here, Mr Spencer? Care to explain why he is here?” She asks, pinning me down with an angry gaze.
I take a deep breath and open my mouth but Leo signals me to shut it.
” Calm down, Miss Sanders, I can explain.” He says and Elena snaps her head around to face him. I can feel her anger pulsating through the room.
” Don’t fucking tell me to calm down.” She snaps then turns to me, ” Is this another game to you? Do you think it’s funny?”
