Alpha Arthur;
This little excitement in Elara’s face is everything I want to see. I want her to always be excited and I pray it lasts this way for life. Elara is my pride and source of happiness. Whenever she’s happy, then I’m also happy.
My hand stretches toward her, and she places her hand on it. I lead us out of the house to join my men outside. A lot is happening at this time and there is so much to be put in place. So much that Chloe and Loki fucking destroyed in my pack.
But then, I can’t stop myself from feeling so excited when I’ve won in life.
The first woman that has ever caught my attention romantically ever since I was a boy, is the same woman I’m holding her hand right now and heading towards my men. What else will a man possibly ask for?
We get to the car and my men drive us off.
But this time, I made sure Elara was sitting closer to me in my own car. Thoughts of asking her more questions about her ex fill my mind but I push them to the back of my head. Why worry about a man who looks like trash? Elara won’t even make the mistake of wanting him back.
If I want to be worried about a man competing with me when it comes to Elara, then my focus should be on Alpha Blade. That bastard is still married and fated to her. I know he will come for her when things are settled in his Pack.
My pack wasn’t the only one facing the madness and heat. Alpha Blade’s pack was experiencing the same thing.
Bronson told me about it all.
I didn’t even know Jasmine was still in Alpha Blade’s life. That crazy desperate lady who always wanted him to herself. I always knew she would do something stupid someday just to be with Alpha Blade, and yeah, she did.
Bronson didn’t go into much detail about Jasmine, and he was on the verge of speaking to me about Leona when my eyes caught Elara’s ex, kneeling before her. I wanted to know who he was and why he was kneeling in front of Elara, so I just ended the call with Bronson.
Whatever it was Bronson wanted to say to me about Leona, can wait for some other time.
Elara first.
She is my first priority.
I rest my head on the headrest of the car as my driver starts the engine, staring at Elara with a side-eye. I want to hold her in my arms, kiss her, and do every crazy thing to her. But this isn’t the right time.
We’re going to hunt down her family members and with how focused in space she is, I can tell the thoughts of her family are running through her head. I just need to let her focus.
Our cars drive into a narrow route, stopping in front of a shabby hotel. The hotel is small and looks dirty from the outside. This looks like a place where only Rogues can settle. We all drop down from the cars.
Ralph, Kalus, Elara’s ex, and the rest of my men rush in. Elara and I waited outside.
This place looks too tiny to be able to contain all of us. Unintentionally, my eyes keep running in the direction of Elara. I enjoy watching her face. But she pays me no attention.
Ralph rushes out of the hotel toward me, “Alpha, I think someone tipped them about our coming, and they flee. Their scents are still lingering in the room they lodged in.”
My cheeks drag and I can’t help but chuckle hard. There is a mole among us. Someone who is working for Chloe and giving her all the necessary information.
This mole wants to mess with me. I will show him the reason why I’m the Alpha of this pack. I know the mole is a man, and dwells among my men. I will fish him or them out.
“Ralph, retreat the men. We are all returning to the mansion. When we get to the courtroom, I want you to organize all of your men. But don’t inform them about it right now, until when we are at the courtroom,” I open the door of my car and fix myself in.
Elara also takes her seat, and I order my driver to drive us back to the mansion.
Driving home, I try to crack some difficult puzzles. Who the fuck is this mole, and how to fish him out. Getting closer to the mansion, the answer I’d been searching for struck my head. I press onto the bridge of my nose, laughing hard like a crazy man. Not paying attention to the fact Elara was staring at me in an unbelievable way.
I’ve gotten my answer, and it’s another moment of happiness for me.
We arrive at the mansion and I step out of the car. Without hesitation, I rushed into the courtroom. Elara follows behind me.
Surprisingly as I step in, my Council of Elders are all seated, waiting for me. How on this fucking earth did they know I was gonna return to the courtroom. Anyways, they are old men and have lived longer than me.
These men understand how every Alpha reacts when there is a problem going on.
“Alpha,” they greet, standing up from their seats.
With the dancing of my fingers, I order them to sit down. Just in time, Ralph storms in, informing me that he has organized everyone and he needs permission to bring them in.
“Bring everyone in, Ralph,” I give him the permission needed.
“What’s going on, Alpha Arthur,” the leader of the elders asks. Confusion is playing on their faces.
“Something interesting. You can only find out if you stay back and watch,” I stroll toward my sword behind my throne and pull it out from the bag. It’s been a while since I last made use of it.
I hate to use it, but for this cause, I don’t mind.
Ralph returns with all my men, and they all duck their heads the moment they step in. With my eyes, I count their numbers, making sure they are complete. Yes, they are.
The only person missing is Loki.
A nasty smile plays on my lips, the blade of my sword dragging behind me causing sparks on the cemented floor as I make my way toward my men.
“Ralph,” I call out, scratching my brow. “I want you to point out the men that were assigned to Chloe in my absence.”
“Ok, Alpha,”
Ralph steps forward and points out three of my men.
“Just the three of them worked with Chloe?” I ask, making sure nothing will go wrong.
“Yes, Alpha. Chloe selected them herself.”
“Nice,” I push my head backward, laughing like a crazy man. “Aside the three of them and Ralph, the rest of you return to your duties,” giving my orders while still laughing hard.
The rest of my men left. Just the three of Chloe’s special men were standing.
“On your knees all three of you,” my teeth grind as my smile fades into a frown.
They get on their knees.
Bending forward and taking a closer look at the first man, “Where are Chloe and her parents hiding?” My voice is laced with anger.
“Alpha, Please. I know nothing about her whereabouts.”
“Wrong answer.” I stretch my sword high up and descend on his neck, separating the bastard’s head from his body. His blood splashes everywhere. The others gasped in fear. Just the way I want.
To the next man, “Where. is. Chloe?”
Shaking his head profusely, “Alpha, please I’m sorry. I didn’t want to get in….”
“Wrong answer,” I raise my sword and cut off the head of the second bastard. His blood shooting out from the big hole created in his neck, makes my tongue lick my lips in pleasure.
“She is at the border closer to the Seven Moon pack. She is waiting for the sun to settle before she can depart the border. Please, spare my life, Alpha” the third bastard cries out.
Hmmm…. We are just starting.
Moving my face closer to his trembling face, my lips drag in a nasty smile, “What more should I know about Chloe? And don’t make me ask twice.”
“She ordered us to kill Princess Veronica, and frame the Delta she-wolf. Luna Chloe was the one who poisoned Mistress Elara’s tea, and ordered us to kill the kitchen maid who carried out the task on her behalf. The sex tape. She licked it to the public, and ordered us to organize some group of people who would stone Mistress Elara to death. I never did anything without an order,” the third bastard gave me more information than expected.
Interesting!!
Throwing my sword to the ground and dusting my palms together, “Ralph, take the men to the border and don’t return without Chloe and her parents. I think Alpha Drakon has an interesting story to hear.”
I whiff in amusement.
