It’s been two days since my father caught me naked in bed with Emilio. My father ordered the guard to lock me up in my room and to throw Emilio in the dungeon until he decided what he would do with him .
I couldn’t stop sobbing, I screamed, yelled, and threw things in my room, bringing the anger and hurt to the surface.
My father won’t talk to me, he won’t let me explain to him why Emilio did that ; he never gave me a glance, he simply ignored me.
I want to see Emilio, but I’m locked in my room, and I’m surrounded by guards.
I can feel his pain through the mate bond. They’re torturing him.
And again, I began to sob, more bitterly than before,
I need to find a way to get to him, and I can’t just stay there when they’re hurting my mate.
Maybe I should act sick and fool the guards.
I don’t think it’s gonna work because werewolves don’t get sick.
A great idea clicked in my mind.
I started screaming out loud, asking for help.
“Help me, there’s a rogue in my room. Help ”
The guard stormed into my room. I attacked him, giving his balls a good kick, and he fell on the floor whimpering in pain, I sneaked out of the room, heading to the dungeon.
Found a guard securing the dungeon
” Open the door ” I ordered him in an authoritative voice.
“I’m soon your highness. It’s the king’s orders to not let you in. You should go back to your room.”
” Listen, if you don’t help me, I will make sure you live a living hell after everything goes back to normal between me and my father.” I grit on my teeth.
He gulped” Please be quick. If your father finds out, he will kill me. ”
I smirked and nodded.
He opened the door, and I gasped in shock.
” Emilio!!
A sob caught in her throat, escaping in a strangled cry.
She ran to him.
” Gianna baby, you’re not supposed to be here”
” What have they done to you?”
She cried, bursting in tears, and wrapped her arms around him, pulling him as close as she could.
He was chained to the wall, and an electric necklace around his neck restrained him from shifting or using his power.
Emilio’s body was bloodied and beaten, although his pulse was strong.
His wolf can’t heal him because of the necklace.
” Gianna, you need to leave. Your father wouldn’t like you being her.
I held his very bruised face between the palms of my hands, kissing softly every inch of his face, trying to take his pain away.
” I promise you I will get you out of her, my love.”
A hand dragged me out, snatched me from Emilio’s body and my father’s angry voice echoed in the room.
” I told you not to leave your room. You’re under house arrest. How dare you disobey my orders?”
” But dad”
“Shut up, thank the moon goddess that you’re my daughter, or you will be sitting in the dungeon next to that bastard. Next time, I won’t hesitate to throw you there if you dare and give against my orders again ”
He threw me on the bed. When he was on his way out, I shouted.
” Emilio is my mate and Charlotte’s”
He stopped in his tracks and spun around, meeting my gaze, gawking in disbelief.
“What ?” his voice was shaken.
“When Charlotte knew that Emilio was our mate, she asked him to reject me, or she wouldn’t accept him. He was madly in love with her, so he did what she asked him to do as long as she accepted him. I didn’t accept his rejection. Charlotte kept fooling around with Emilio while she was dating Ayann. She told him that her mate had died, and she felt the broken mate bond, and Ayann believed her.”
He stumbled back, losing his footing for a brief moment, his body rocked by the sheer force of the unexpected revelation.

” That explains why she left the kingdom for years. She couldn’t bear the sight of her mate with her sister, so she left. My poor baby suffered the pain of rejection. Why didn’t she tell us the truth?

” Unlike Charlotte she’s a spoiled brat, so selfish, she would do anything good or bad to get what she want , she doesn’t care about others feelings or needs, she toyed with Emilio for years played with his feeling then she betrayed him, she rejected him without a remorse and mated with Ayann, she also lied about her baby’s father, the pup she caring is Emilio’s pup not Ayann’s But Emilio recognized his pup. He confronted Charlotte with the truth. She denied his parenting rights. She insisted that Ayann is the father of her child, then threatened Emilio with hurting him if he said anything. He thought that he had no other choice than kidnapping her.
He hired people to kidnap Charlotte, but everything went wrong when they mistook me for her. That is how I ended up with him. First he forced me to lie to you about me staying with my friend, and I kept calling you regularly, so you did not suspect anything. Then I helped him kidnap Charlotte in exchange for my freedom, plus I believe Charlotte deserves punishment for evil actions and I know that he never hurt her because he loved her, but he lied about releasing me. First I hated him, because of that. Then we got closer to each other until we ended up marked and mated ”
” Dad, Emilio is not a bad person. He is just a victim of Charlotte’s selfishness. He just wanted his pup. Maybe he did it in the wrong way, but he was hurt and humiliated by Charlotte. ”
My father covered his face with his hand and cried, his body bucking from waves of agony.
I never saw my father cry before. He’s a ruthless alpha, but when it comes to his family, he’s a soft, loving, devoted father.
I wrapped my arms around him in a comforting bear hug .
