It was still snowing outside today, a man in a black overcoat and gold-rimmed gla*ses came through the door.
As he walked, Andre followed him with an unsteady gait, and a group of bodyguards in suits surrounding him, making him look like the center of a galaxy.
The man did not even have time to take off his coat, with snow all over him, he walked straight past Dominic and quickly to Taya’s side.
“Did he hurt you?”
Griffon did not even look at Dominic, and just focused on checking Taya’s body, for fear that something might happen to her.
Upon seeing him, Taya gradually calmed down, and she said, “No, we’re just talking. Don’t worry.”
With a growing sense of concern in his eyes, Griffon said, “Anything he says, you don’t have to take it to heart, leave it all
to me.”
His low and husky voice had a soothing power, as if any obstacle or difficulty could be easily overcome with his presence.
In fact, it was indeed the case. Seeing him arrive, the fingers of Dominic’s hand holding the check slowly closed, and the expression on his face became slightly awkward and embarra*sed.
If he had stepped in to help Griffon back then, he would not feel almost guilty and helpless in the face of him now. Unfortunately, he could not turn back the clock.
Because of this guilty towards Griffon, Dominic cleared his throat and spoke up, clenching his fists, “I’m just here to talk to her, no worries.”
Griffon’ gaze remained fixed on Taya as he heard the voice, and then he turned his gaze faintly to Dominic, “I warned you long ago not to come and disturb her. You don’t seem to take my warning seriously?”
Seeing him being rude to his elders, Taya hurriedly tugged on his sleeve to remind him not to be, but little did she know that Griffon always spoke to Dominic in this way.
The relationship between Griffon and Dominic broke down when Gloria Leiner whipped him for the first time.
At that time, he was only a few years old, beaten by his own mother until he was covered in blood, crawling to seek help from Dominic, but he chose to turn a blind eye.

Dominic was so angry that his face turned purple. He leaned on his dragon-headed cane to. barely stand up, trembling.
He could not find a breakthrough in Griffon, so he shifted his cold gaze towards Taya.
“Ms. Palmer, a mating without the blessings of elders is doomed to be unhappy. You should think about it carefully…”
With that speaking, Dominic walked towards the door on the cane, accompanied by a couple of bodyguards.
As he pa*sed by Andre, Dominic gave him a cold glance.
If it weren’t for Andre’s timely report earlier, how could Griffon have arrived so quickly?
