“Wow, that was fast,” she remarked, looking out the passenger window at her small apartment building. “I didn’t realize we were already here.”
She thought the journey was supposed to be longer than this. How did they get here so fast? It was as if time moved like a flash!
Edwin grinned. “It felt like we were on a joyride, didn’t it?”
She nodded. A part of her wished the drive had lasted longer.
“Uhmm… You didn’t even ask me my name,” she said as she opened the car door, ready to step out.
‘And I don’t know yours either,’ she added silently, in her mind, feeling a twinge of something she couldn’t quite place-was it disappointment?
Edwin chuckled.
In truth, he was just as curious as she was.
But he couldn’t be bothered to ask for her name as he had his ways of finding out every single detail he wanted about her.
And he would get it tonight!
“Well… I could have asked, but I already have my ways of finding out everything I need to know.”
Lilian’s eyes narrowed, suspicion and wariness creeping back in. “Is that supposed to make me feel special?”
“Absolutely. You should feel special because you are special,” he replied with a smirk.
“Ohh!”
He turned his attention to the cute brick house in the background, and his eyes darkened. “You live alone?”
“Uhmm… yeah!” she replied with a shrug.
“Cool,” he said, something unreadable in his expression. Just perfect!
Starting to feel awkward about where the conversation was heading, Lilian opened the car door fully and stepped out, but she hesitated, turning back to look at him. “Thanks for the ride… I think.”
“You’re welcome,” Edwin leaned back in his seat and watched with keen interest as she walked towards her apartment. He couldn’t help but admire the curves of her body against the dim light of the street lamps. She was stunning and radiant in a way that made his thoughts spiral into a darker place.
He was a man with a plan, after all, and tonight had taken a turn he hadn’t anticipated. So now he found himself tangled in a web of perverted and kinky fantasies.
Tonight, he had just wanted to enjoy this Brunette’s company. She seemed so innocent, so unaware of the darkness that lurked just beneath the surface of their encounter. But it was that very innocence that made his thoughts spiral into the depraved.
She lived alone, and that was to his advantage. The thought sent shivers down his spine. Somehow, he imagined slipping into her apartment when she least expected it, watching her as she went about her life.
The possibilities were endless, and he reveled in the thrill of it all.
Each fantasy grew more vivid, more intense, and he felt himself harden at the thought.
He watched as she fumbled with her keys, her brow furrowed in concentration. The sight made him chuckle softly to himself.
“Clumsy and sweet!” he whispered hoarsely.
As her door finally opened, then clicked shut, Edwin’s heart raced. He pulled out his phone, fingers flying over the screen as he accessed his network. He had connections, resources-everything he needed to dig deeper into her life. He wasn’t just a billionaire; he was a force to be reckoned with, and he wasn’t afraid to use his power.
A wicked smile crept across his lips as he roared his engine back to life.
“Goodnight, Lilian,” he said, though she couldn’t hear him. The name rolled off his tongue like a sweet treat, and he savored it, relishing the sound.
He knew this was only the beginning. He would see her again.
Soon!!!
*********
As the car glided smoothly down the road, Kourtney remained nestled into Sebastian’s solid frame. The world outside was chaotic, but within the confines of the vehicle, it was just the two of them. His strong arm wrapped around her shoulders while his fingers brushed gently through her hair, petting it as if soothing a frayed soul.
The rhythmic motion calmed her racing heart, and she closed her eyes, letting herself sink deeper into his arms.
When they finally pulled into the driveway of Serenity Villa, Sebastian gently placed a kiss on her forehead before stepping out of the car. Kourtney watched him like a little helpless dove as he strode around to her side, opening the door and extending his hand to help her out.
“Let’s get you inside,” he said, determination etched on his handsome face.
He lifted her effortlessly into his arms again, like it was his favorite new position to keep her.
Their female servants had already gathered outside, their expressions a mix of concern and relief as they rushed toward them. But Sebastian simply shook his head, his voice firm as he said, “No need to worry, I’ve got her.”
“Young Master, are you sure?” their oldest maid, Martha, an old lady in her sixties, asked nervously as she glanced at Kourtney’s battered state.
“I’m very well capable of taking care of my wife,” Sebastian replied, his tone leaving no room for further discussion.
It was clear he didn’t want anyone else tending to her but him. His possessiveness radiated from him, and Kourtney felt a thrill at being the center of his attention.
Suddenly, the way her husband claimed her felt so right, so natural….
Once inside, he carried her up the grand staircase leading to their bedroom. She wondered how his muscles did not flinch under her weight. It was as if she weighed nothing at all as she wrapped her arms around his neck, feeling the steady beat of his heart against her cheek.
She felt like a princess in his arms, and for the first time in days, a smile broke through her troubled thoughts.
Sebastian carried her into their beautifully designed bathroom with marble and soft lighting. Then he turned on the tap, filling the large tub with warm water before placing her in it.
“This will help you relax,” he said softly.
Kourtney could only let out a weak smile.
Then Sebastian paused, turning to face her, his expression suddenly becoming serious and heavy.
“Kourtney…”
