I slowly blinked my eyes open and squinted them as the bright lights rushed into them.
“Hey, look he’s awake”. A female voice said.
I focused my eyes on the person as my head and sight were both perfectly jumbled and mixed up.
Upon proper focus I finally made out the face.
It’s really that bitch, Margaret.
How did I not think of her?
I noticed I was seated on a chair and was tied to the seat with ropes. I struggled against them to see that I couldn’t break free from them.
“He’s awake now. Let’s kill him”. Sebastian said while walking into the room with Victoria.
He dragged her to a corner of the place and forced her down unto a chair.
“Don’t push her!”. I said in anger.
“Sorry boss”. He said in mock surrender as he placed his two hands up in the air.
“We can’t kill him yet. I haven’t found the documents. I don’t know where he stashed them. Fabiano said in frustration.
“Then why not just ask him. He’s right here, isn’t he?”. Margaret said.
“Ask me anything and I’ll rip out your tongue”. I threatened Fabiano who tried coming close to me.
He shrinks back in fear behind Sebastian.
“What are you actually afraid of? He’s tied up. He isn’t going to do anything.”
Fabiano approached me before landing a punch on my face and then cracking his knuckles in pain.
I’ll get you for this you bitch.
“I’ve always wanted to do that for a long time”.
“Shut the fuck up, Fabiano! If I get out of this seat I will kill you!”
“Try getting out first. When you do, I’ll run”
“You had better run fast then”
“Shut up, Alessandro. You’re not getting out of that seat”. Sebastian saud.
“Sebastian, I see you can talk you bloody traitor! Hitting me from the back like a coward that you are!”
“No, that wasn’t me.”
“That was actually me”. I turned to the voice to see Valentino standing against the wall with his hands stuffed inside his pockets.
He went straight to where a crying Victoria was sitting and began to pat her head.
“Valentino? You betrayed me? How dare you do this to me?”. I asked in surprise.
“Is that what it’s called? Sorry I didn’t know that it was betrayal. I thought that it was just being smart. Besides, Victoria as a prize is way too tempting. I’d rather have her than help you”
“No!”. Victoria said while trying to get up from her seat.
“All of you mark my words, I will kill you all before the day is over!”
“I hear you”. Margaret says, flipping her hair over her shoulder.
“You gave me this! You shot me! Don’t you think I deserve to kill you for this too?!”
“Shut up and get out of my face, Margaret. You crazy bitch, you make me sick!”
“You made me crazy! You made me lose my mind! I loved you! But what did you do?! You threw my love away and made fun of me! You mocked me and used me for your revenge against Bernard! You’re the devil! I only became one so I could punish you for what you did!”
“Spare me the bullshit stories and get the fuck out of my sight!”
“By the end of today, you will be the one who will be laying dead in a ditch!”
“You think so?”
“I don’t think so. I know so!”
“Valentino! What are you doing with these people? Let me go now!”. Victoria screamed at Valentino.
“I’m sorry I can’t do that, sweetie”
“Why don’t we just kill him now. What’s with the wait? Delay is really dangerous. We should kill him now and get it over and done with!”. Sebastian said.
“You seem so eager to kill me, Sebastian. Before you do that, why don’t you tell me, Sebastian, what my offense is to you?”. I asked him.
“You really wanna know? You want to act like you don’t know?!”
“Don’t know what?!”

He took a deep breath at my outburst and ran his hands through his hair in frustration while laughing but I could tell that nothing was funny to him.
“A slave?! Your slave? My mother and my sister died because of your stupidity and hunger for power! They died because you killed our breadwinner leaving us to starve to death and freeze to death! You killed my mother and sister! It’s all your fault! You’re meant to be blamed for everything!”
“Well then, if you must know it, nothing gives me more joy than the fact that I wiped out your stupid family! Your whore of a mother deserves to die for giving birth to a person like you.
I’m quite certain that your sibling would have been as rotten as you!
I’m sure they don’t deserve to live! Not to worry before today ends you’ll be reunited with them!”
In anger he fished out his gun before pointing it on my head while I remained calm.
“I’m going to take so much pride in killing you”
“Then do it. Do it you lapdog!”. I said before laughing.
“Sebastian, don’t! It’s not yet time for this.”
“Fucking shut up, Margaret! You don’t tell me what to do. He’s been alive for way too long and I plan to fix that right now”
“You’re a fucking pussy, Sebastian. You’re weak and stupid. You have no brains. You’re pathetic and my biggest mistake.

All eyes turned towards the entrance as a man walked into the house.
I heard Victoria gasp in shock as I turned to her to see her shake her head slowly to herself like she couldn’t believe her eyes.

“Leonard?”. She said slowly.
“Hello, sweetcheeks. We meet again but without the mask this time. That was painfully irritating”.
This was the man she met up with the day she left and this was the same green eyed freak that she said she danced with at the charity gala.
“Leonard? What are you doing here?”. She asked with surprise splashed all over her voice.
“I’m here to collect retribution my love”. He says to her before leaning in and placing a kiss on her cheek to which she turns away from him.

“Don’t worry you’ll soon learn to accept me as your savior and only hope. Once your abusive husband is dead”. He said before looking at me.
“Who the hell are you?!”.
“Hi. I’m Leonardo Luca Rossi”. He said cheerily before stretching out his hand for a handshake.
I stared at the hand strangely before he retracted it.
“Sorry. My bad. I forgot that you can’t actually do that now. You’re kind of in a bind now”
“Your last name is Rossi?”. I asked incredulously
“Yes. Rossi. Your father killed my father in cold blood and stole his birthright.
Originally my plan was to kill your father and not you. But then you greedy young man, you killed him and took over doing exactly what I hated. That’s when you became my target.
It wasn’t anything personal before but after meeting Victoria and getting to know her, I hated you the most. You got her pregnant and treated her like trash. How dare you!”
He suddenly looks at Victoria who still couldn’t believe that her so-called friend is the reason for all this shit that we’ve been getting.
“Don’t worry Victoria, once he’s gone and you’re mine. I’ll treat you like a queen and finally get rid of that punishment he gave you. I’ll have the baby removed”. He said happily.
“No! Not my baby!”. Victoria cried out.
“Wait. Hold on. Fabiano I thought we had a deal. I get the girl and you get the guy. What is this guy here talking about?”.
“Oops”. Fabiano said with a shrug.
“Sorry man, the deal is off”. Leonard said before pulling out a gun and shooting Valentino in the chest.
A loud scream is heard from Victoria as Valentino falls to the floor clutching his chest.
“Why did you kill him?!”. Victoria yelled at the crazy man.
“Why wouldn’t I? Can’t you see that he was trying to keep us away from being with each other?”.
This bastard has really gone nuts.
“I hate you!”. Victoria screams.
“No, you don’t mean that. You remember that time we met?”. He asks Victoria squatting in front of her.
“I don’t bloody care about whatever that comes out of your lying hole! Fuck you!”. She shouted at him.
In a second he raised his hands before whipping it across her face and causing her to fall over sideways.
Sebastian roughly picks her up and sits her straight again.

“As I was saying that day we kissed. But I guess you might have already known about that already, Alessandro seeing as your men were following us around that day.
You wanna know a secret Victoria? I kissed you intentionally. It was on purpose and so very right on time because I caught sight of his men around. Immediately I saw them and I grabbed you and kissed you.
It felt so good and so right. I thought to myself, why not give your controlling husband something to yell about?”. He said before erupting into laughter.
“You bastard! I hate you so much! I hate you! You know what? That kiss was the worst kiss of my entire life! It was as disgusting as you! It was horrible and so bad that I wanted to scrub off my lips just to get rid of the memory!”. She screamed at him in anger.
He couldn’t believe it. He was visibly shocked.
He gripped her hair harshly making her cry out in pain.
“You think I’m disgusting?!”
“Yes! You’re disgusting! You disgust me! I’d rather be dead than spend the rest of my life with you!”
He raised his hand once again in the air to hit her.
That’s enough, motherfucker. Playtime is over.
“Don’t!”. I yelled out stopping his hand mid air as Victoria turned her face to the side and closed her eyes.
“Excuse me?”. He said in amusement.
“Don’t you dare hit her!”.
“Why? I mean you’re tied up. What can you possibly do?”
“I’m just telling you right now. Hit her and somebody dies”. I said seriously.
Victoria looked at me with furrowed eyebrows signaling confusion.
Leonardo smiled once at me before his hand came down and connected with Victoria’s face once again.
He just doesn’t listen, does he?
“Don’t you ever listen? Well, don’t say that I didn’t warn you”. I said to him,
