Chelsea screamed.
The horror made me gasp. My eyes got wide open at the bloody scene. Chelsea’s leg was on the verge of cutting itself from the chandelier.
The scene of her meaty leg crawled all over my skin and made me nauseous.
“Ahhh!… ahhhh.” She gave out a sharp cry and tried to pull her left leg away from the huge chandelier. “Lift it up. I will die.” She whimpered. “Please.”
“Chelsea.” I panicked and almost ran over to her.
“Courtney, no.” Larcade stopped me.
“Do not move an inch.” I heard that authoritative calm voice, which held me in place.
He walked past my stiff body to Chelsea. His presence felt horrifying to my bones. What a dark aura!
Sihwa.
Sihwa shot the chandelier to slam on our bodies while he was walking down the stairs.
This bastard.
What a jerk! Did he plan to hit all of us with that?
How could he do this to Chelsea? Was he the reason Wendy has been on the run for four years?
Was he this thick-hearted?
“My little mouse.” He pointed the gun at Chelsea, struggling with her bloody leg on the floor. I wanted to puke at the scene. The skin on her leg peeled off and a deep cut was between the chandelier.
Her battered leg caused me to vomit on the floor.
“Courtney.” Larcade moved up to me in a hurry and rubbed my back to calm down. He lifted his right hand to my hair to let it up as he rubbed my back.
“It’s gonna stop. Calm down, okay?”
“Larcade.” I murmured.
“How was your freedom? How did it taste when you tasted it, Star?”
Does he want to kill her? I looked up at Sihwa with an interesting look on his face.
“Speak to me, Chelsea. I hate being ignored.” His voice got a little deeper.
“Sihwa, please don’t kill me,” Chelsea begged, shrieked and kept trying to drag her leg off the golden chandelier.
“I shouldn’t kill you?” He remarked. “What are you talking about?”
“Sihwa, no,” she wailed and kept trying to pull off her leg from the chandelier. “Please.” She begged.
Boom!
“Ahhh.” She whimpered at the gunshot on her leg. “Ahhh. Fuuuccckkk.” Chelsea’s piercing cry shrieked the mansion.
“Stop hurting her.” I yelled and morphed my fist into my wolf form. Stepping on the vomit, I puked on the floor.
He shot her again on the leg.
“Stop.” I yelped.
He did it again.
I roared furiously and on the verge of attacking him, Larcade grabbed my waist and held me close to him.
“No. No. No. No. Nooooo.” I screamed and broke down in tears. “He’s gonna hurt her. Larcade, please. Let me go.” I cried out.
“Stop, Courtney. You can’t beat him.”
Sihwa kept shooting bullets at Chelsea’s leg, ignoring my cries and stopped, his gun still pointing at her leg. Chelsea was in a pool of her blood, wailing loudly in agony.
The gunshot and the loud cries of Chelsea made me close my ears with both hands. I could not endure the sight of hearing Chelsea’s cries. I broke down in tears and begged whoever was listening to save Chelsea.
I have never been in such a situation before. This was hard and traumatic for me. I know I will never forget in a hurry. Was this what the outside world felt like?
Twilight Springs was ten times better than the outside world. I barely see the sight of blood in my entire life. Only in wounds and movies at the Twilight zone.
What was this? What is happening right now? Why can’t I attack this monster and stop him from tormenting Sihwa? Why am I letting him do what he wants?
Larcade is right. I can’t beat him. Just standing behind him makes my body tremble. Not to talk more of attacking him.
Struggling to lift herself up, Chelsea kept shrieking in an unbearable pain. I could do nothing but cry. Larcade tightened his grip around my waist for me to not run away from him and run over to them.
He pulled me ten feet away from them. All I could do was panic my wits out.
“Any last words, Star?” He slightly smirked. “Don’t act like you are dying. Eight bullets on your leg wouldn’t kill you.” He shifted the gun to himself and brought out a black ball, which was the size of a bullet, from his pocket and shoved it into the gun and clicked it.
“Now, that’s more like it.” He pointed the gun back at Chelsea and this time, it wasn’t her leg but her stomach.
“That’s…that’s…tha…wolf’s…” she was dropping in and out of consciousness. “Wolfsbane.” She finally said it and slumped her upper body to the floor with a pant.
She was losing blood.
“You still recognize it. That’s impressive.” I couldn’t see the slight expression on his face because of the right side of his hair covering it, falling past the right side of his face. “Are you going to cry, Star?” He taunts.
“Please don’t hurt her.” I whispered in tears. “She can’t take it anymore.” Even though there was nothing I could do.
He is asking her if she wants to cry? What sort of stupid question is that? Who wouldn’t cry after what he had done to her?
Was this the same Sihwa we were all hearing about?
This is not an alpha, a werewolf with a beating heart.
This is a monster.
Chelsea’s skin got pale.
Her eyes were on the verge of dripping more tears. “You are going to kill me aren’t you, Sihwa?” Chelsea raised herself up, panting at the loss of blood coming out of her body, making her pale as a ghost.
“Why would I do that to you?” He chuckles. “I got what I wanted, darling. Any last wishes, Star?” He then pointed the gun close to her head.
“You know I don’t want you to kill me.” She muttered.
“Of course I know that. That’s what thrills me the most to want to kill you. The more you avoid me from killing you, the more I want to rip those clothes off you and soak them in your blood. Not a day passes by that I don’t want to spill your blood for leaving me.”
“Sihwa.” she called out to him.
Chelsea…was crying.
“Please, I have…”
“Many, many moons ago.” He cut in. “I gave you a head start. You can either run or hide. It’s your choice to do whatever you want. But if I find you, it’s gonna be messy because I warned you. I will make you bleed, scream, and call out my name to show you mercy. Nothing will stop me from breaking your spirit, peeling off your skin, and tearing you apart. You either put a stop to this or agree to my terms and disappear. Star, you know I don’t break my promises. You wanted your freedom, and I gave it to you.” He took a step closer to her. “Why are you here, Star?”
