While they were discussing it, Andre on the other side ordered his subordinates to put all the lockboxes on the gla*s table and report to the man on the sofa.
“Alpha, the bride price is ready. I have informed Mr. Dominic
Knight, and I didn’t wait for his response before I came here.””
Griffon gave a slight nod. After Taya had finished talking to
Harper, and they returned to the living room, he got up from the sofa and walked over to Harper.
“Ms. Duke, I’m here today to ask Taya for her hand in mating and to seek the approval of her pack. Since you’re her sister, you will be the one to decide for Taya.”
In general, it was the man’s pack who made the decision first before coming to formally propose, and then the discussion between the man and the woman’s pack was inevitable.
In numerous instances, when they could not find common ground, the couple might not be able to tie the knot. Eventually, instead of being able to form a pack, they would become hostile to each other.
However, the man standing before her, who was so noble that he seemed unapproachable, could have originally skipped the engagement process entirely, simply held a mating ceremony and obtained a mating certificate with Taya. After all, she and Taya had no blood relation, only a nominal sister relationship, yet Griffon showed her such respect. It strongly suggested that he was trustworthy.
Therefore, Harper, who had developed a good impression of
Griffon, waved her hand and said, “Let’s discuss it together.”
Having said that, she gestured an invitation for everyone to sit on the sofa in the living room, and ordered Mandy to prepare some afternoon tea.
Once they were seated, under Griffon’ signal, Andre ordered his subordinates to open the rows of lockboxes on the table and the carpet. Then he faced the two ladies and said respectfully, “Ms. Palmer, Ms. Duke, this is the bride price prepared by Alpha.”
Upon seeing the contents of the lockboxes, Harper and Taya exchanged a glance. They had thought that the boxes. Contained cash, but to their surprise, they were filled with documents, property deeds, bank cards, and other similar items.

Sensing his sincerity, Harper stopped persuading him and asked, “What about your elders, they haven’t met Taya yet, do they agree?”
Griffon’ expression turned somber for a moment, then he
replied, “I am in charge of the Knight pack, so there is no need
for my wife to see them.”
When he said that, he exuded an aura of having long held a high position, which lifted Harper’s spirits.
She had almost forgotten that the man sitting on the opposite sofa was the one at the helm of three major packs, the Knight pack, the Leiner pack and the Thorin pack.
If the Alpha’ elders did not like Taya, his wife also did not have to go groveling.
With such a strong backer, Harper thought that if Taya mated Griffon Knight, surely she would not be bullied and must even be doted on by him.
Thinking of this, Harper no longer paid attention to Taya, who
kept pulling her sleeve and worrying about the excessive bride price, and said, “Okay, it’s settled then!”

settled.

The word “them” gave Harper a better impression of him. It must be that Griffon regarded her as Taya’s elder sister, which showed his love for everything in the Taya’s pack.
After the mating proposal was settled, Griffon had to return to the group to deal with work. Seeing that he had something to say to Taya, Harper quickly left to make room for them.
Griffon stood up when he saw Harper leave, then approached Taya and lifted her onto his lap. After that, he leaned in and kissed her red lips.
“I’ll come and bring you flowers every day. If you need to go anywhere, remember to call me, I’ll pick you up.”
Taya originally was going to reject, but she saw in his eyes a reluctance to part, then she quickly reached out to embrace him.
“Okay, I’ll listen to you.”
Griffon stroked the back of her head, held her lips and kissed
her deeply for a moment. Then he released her reluctantly.
“I’m going back to the group.”
“Okay.”
Compared to the reluctance in his tone, Taya was much happier.
As the man lifted his hand, he caressed her nose before letting her go and getting up to walk outside of the villa.
Before he was about to step out of the villa, he looked back at Taya apprehensively and said, “Wait for me at home.”
Taya nodded obediently at him, while seeing that he seemed to want to go back nagging a few more words, she waved hurriedly, “Goodbye.”
It was only then that Griffon stopped and turned to leave the villa in the snow. But before getting into the car, he still ordered Andre to protect her.
Andre pointed to his eyes and promised repeatedly that his eyes would always be fixed on Ms. Palmer to make sure she was safe, whereupon Griffon departed being rea*sured.
