The next moment, a scene that shocked the white-haired elder unfolded. The mark he had thrown was instantly frozen into a solid ice sculpture, suspended in mid-air.
Before he could react, White Feather’s icy wave surged towards him. He wanted to dodge, but it was too late. After the wave passed, he was frozen into an ice sculpture, just like the mark.
A crisp sound followed, and the elder and the mark shattered into countless ice fragments, falling from the sky.
The only solace for the elder was that although his soul was damaged, it hadn’t perished completely, giving him a glimmer of hope.
However, this was just his wishful thinking. As his soul barely escaped a thousand meters, a second wave of cold air caught up with him. His soul was crumbled as well.
He died without understanding why even his soul could be frozen-it was utterly unbelievable!
From the moment the white-haired elder made his move to his complete annihilation, it all happened in just a few blinks of an eye.
Alice Kaur and the fourth-rank Condensed Kun Realm old woman wanted to help but were a step too slow. Watching the ice fragments fall from the sky, their faces turned extremely grim. Both felt a vague sense of unease.
“You didn’t use these trump cards when fighting Flame Hall because you saved them for us?” Alice Kaur asked Billy.
“You knew we would strike when you and Flame Hall were both weakened?”
“Bingo!” Billy shrugged.
“Your injuries were a ruse to deceive us?” Alice Kaur continued.
“I did get hurt a bit, but it’s negligible!” Billy’s aura surged as he spoke, showing no signs of injury. Clearly, his previous actions were to lure the Zenith Sect into making a move.
As Alice Kaur said, he had suspected that they gave him Flame Hall’s location to have him fight them to the death, then reap the benefits.
So, he played along perfectly! Otherwise, with his physical resilience, how could Flame Hall have injured him so badly?
Now, unless facing mid-to-late-stage Condensed Kun Realm opponents, he had no threats.
“Well played!” Alice Kaur’s face darkened further.
“You have two choices now,” Billy said calmly. “Submit or die.”
“Arrogant!” The fourth-rank Condensed Kun Realm old woman beside her responded coldly.
“Even if you’re uninjured, do you think you can survive under my hand? Asking us to submit is absurd…”
“You’re overthinking it; I never intended for you to submit,” Billy interrupted her. His tone turned serious. “White Feather, kill her!”
“Got it!” White Feather responded and charged at the old woman with flapping wings.
“Foolish!” The old woman retorted and met White Feather head-on while shouting, “Miss Kaur, return to Heavenly City; I’ll find you later…”
Before she could finish, a wave of cold air swept in, dropping the temperature by several degrees.
Having witnessed the power of this cold air before, she didn’t dare be careless and quickly dodged aside.
Then she raised her hand and unleashed a storm within a radius of several kilometers, accompanied by thunder and lightning, darkening the sky with destructive force.
“Die!” she shouted, sending dozens of lightning bolts towards White Feather.
“You lack the strength to kill me!” White Feather charged through the lightning, spewing violent airwaves from his mouth. The attacks collided with a deafening explosion, causing the center to collapse.
After the blast, both White Feather and the old woman were thrown back.
White Feather stabilized after flying several hundred meters, with blood at the corner of his mouth and a slightly disordered aura.
The old woman flew three to four kilometers before stopping, spitting out blood with a pale face. Though their combat strength was on par, White Feather’s resilience gave him an edge in their clash.
Before she could catch her breath, White Feather charged again. Knowing she couldn’t take another hit head-on, she dodged swiftly. Meanwhile, Billy turned to Alice Kaur.
“If you won’t submit, then fight! You might have a chance if you give it your all. If you run, you’ll have no chance at all!”
“Let’s go then; I wanted to face you last time!” Alice Kaur took a deep breath and responded. She knew Billy wanted her submission to lead him to Zenith Sect.
If she did that, not only would she die, but her family would also be eradicated by those above. She had no choice but to fight and test Billy’s so-called unparalleled talent.
“You’ve lost your chance to live,” Billy said calmly. “Make your move; I’ll give you one full-strength opportunity.”
“Fine!” Alice Kaur replied. She drew a long sword from her storage ring and spun rapidly like a top, distorting the space around her with her sword’s edge.
A sword of void! Her strongest move that ordinary third-rank Condensed Kun Realm couldn’t withstand!
“Not bad,” Billy remarked sensing its power. “But still not enough to kill me!”
As he spoke, he unleashed a Heaven Killer slash.
The next moment, a tearing sound echoed as a dark crack appeared in the void, dissipating all pressure in mid-air. Alice Kaur’s body paused briefly before falling freely.
Her body perished!
“How is this possible?!” Her soul exclaimed in shock as it rose into the air. She finally realized Billy’s terrifying power-unbelievable!
“You have one last chance,” Billy said looking at her.
Alice Kaur’s soul didn’t respond and turned to flee.
“Too bad, wrong choice,” Billy said calmly.
