“Your Majesty, I will make the arrangements immediately. Please consider the vacancy left by the Archbishop.”
“I understand, you may go.” Grelio suddenly calmed down and waved his hand.
“Your Majesty, I take my leave.” Barnard bowed and retreated.
The pope stood with his hands behind his back, his deep eyes flashing with brilliance, like the bright Milky Way in the universe.
In the dark underground city, as Leo and the dark clan were drinking merrily, a servant hurriedly reported that Pope Grelio was leading an army to personally attack and planned to annihilate the Dark Alliance in one fell swoop.
After hearing the report, Leo sneered and said, “The real show is finally about to begin. Elder, go and make preparations.”
“Yes,” Essex replied with a sinister smile.
Leo drank his red wine in one gulp, thinking: It’s time to inform WONDER and get that guy to assist.
At night, on a deserted beach by the West Coast Strait.
Many small sand crabs were blowing bubbles and scuttling across the empty beach.
A few clumsy sea turtles moved slowly, as if taking a leisurely night stroll.
Suddenly, a strange light flashed across the sky. On the beach, a group of eerie black shadows appeared without warning, standing motionless.
Sensing the danger of these shadows, the sand crabs quickly scurried away, and even the slow-moving sea turtles hastened back to the sea.
“My lord, could we have gotten the time wrong?”
“No mistake. Just wait a bit longer. The sea is rough; the boat might be delayed.”
“Understood.”
These shadows were Leo and the Thirteen Vampire Princes.
Waiting was always boring. Leo stood with his hands behind his back, gazing at the dark, endless sea, lost in thought.
Suddenly, Prince Fred whispered, “My lord, he’s coming.”
Leo looked closely and saw a small yacht struggling in the turbulent waves not far away.
Leo raised his hand, and a small but extremely bright fire line shot from his index finger into the sky, exploding into countless flying fire snakes like brilliant fireworks.
A strange black light flashed from the yacht, shooting toward the beach like lightning.
The vampires saw a ghostly black figure suddenly appear before them, cloaked in darkness.
A terrifying killing intent surged on the beach, as cold as ice, making the vampires’ bodies stiffen.
Leo took two steps forward and smiled. “We meet again.”
Trystan only nodded slightly, looking cold and arrogant.
The vampires exchanged glances, surprised by Trystan’s rudeness toward Leo.
Who was this terrifying figure?
Leo didn’t mind and smiled. “This mission is crucial. I hope we can work together.”
Trystan merely nodded again. The killing intent was so intense that even the beach began to freeze.
Leo continued, “Let me introduce you. Behind me are the princes of the thirteen vampire clans.”
Trystan didn’t even glance at them, just snorted coldly as if the Thirteen Vampire Princes were insignificant.
This disdain made the princes’ faces turn from pale to red with anger. Vampires were proud beings and couldn’t tolerate such contempt.
If not for Leo’s presence, they might have attacked Trystan already.
Of course, whether they could defeat Trystan was another matter.
Leo smiled bitterly and said to the princes, “His name is Trystan. His strength is no less than mine; he just has a peculiar temperament.”
The vampires exchanged glances, maintaining their pride like Trystan.
“Tomorrow is the decisive battle. Let’s go back and prepare.” Leo said and disappeared into a blur.
Trystan turned into a black shadow and followed Leo.
The Vampire Princes transformed into bats and flew away.
The once cold and murderous beach returned to peace and tranquility.
The leisurely sea turtles crawled out again, and the domineering sand crabs resumed blowing bubbles.
Pope’s Palace.
Barnard hurried in, his face showing a mix of emotions that made it hard to tell if he was happy or shocked.
“Barnard, what’s happened now?” Grelio frowned slightly.
“Your Majesty, we just received top-secret information. The identity of the new leader of the Dark Alliance has been discovered.” Barnard replied.
“Who is it?”
“It’s that Atrarian.” Barnard still looked incredulous.
“What!? How is that possible!?” Grelio was also shocked.
“Your Majesty, the information is absolutely true.” Barnard was confident in his intelligence.
“My God, this world is crazy. Have those dark clan members gone mad!?” Grelio’s expression changed strangely.
“Any other information?”
“The Dark Alliance has gathered forces in Albion to await us. Your Majesty, should we delay our trip to Albion and reassess the situation?” Barnard felt a bit worried for no reason.
“No!” Grelio waved his hand firmly. “I have confidence that no matter how strong the enemy is, we can defeat them.”
“Your Majesty is wise!” Barnard admired Grelio’s confidence and determination.
Dark Underground City, Council Hall.
The elite of vampires, orcs, and wizards gathered together.
Almost every dark clan leader was present, looking excited and enthusiastic.
However, a mysterious and terrifying presence made every dark clan member feel uneasy.
This terrifying presence was Trystan.
While dark clan members whispered among themselves, Trystan sat quietly in his black robe.
A dreadful killing intent emanated from him, preventing anyone from approaching within three meters.
Only Essex watched Trystan with interest, seemingly trying to uncover some secrets about this fearsome Atrarian.
At that moment, Leo entered slowly with a smile. “Everyone seems in good spirits.”
“My lord!” The dark clan members stood up respectfully as Leo entered.
Only Trystan remained motionless as if he hadn’t seen Leo at all.
This behavior displeased the dark clan members greatly.
Leo didn’t mind and took his seat at the head of the table, gesturing for everyone to sit down as well.
“The battle is about to begin. Are you all prepared?”
“My lord, our dark clan is fully ready,” Essex said confidently. “Just give the order, and we will fight the Church to the end!”
“Very good.” Leo nodded with a smile.
