I walk to the office with confident steps. I greet my fellow workmates just as I do on a normal Monday morning. I did some thinking over the night after Alonso dropped me at my house.
After calling my mind for a quick meeting and weighing the pros and cons, I finally came to a decision; the one I am taking today.
” Look who is back? The queen herself. ” An annoying voice greets me the moment I open the door of the office.

Her eyes are blazing with anger as she stares at me.

Listening to her spewing trash, I figured out it’s too hard to reason with a dumb person.
” Anything that makes you sleep at night. If you’ll excuse me. ” I move past her, making sure to shove her out of the way with my shoulders.
I head straight to the CEOs office and knock twice before I get a reply.
Pushing the door open, I am greeted with a messy room. The smell of sex hits me the moment I step inside and it takes me a while to recover.
I am not an innocent, naive girl who has no idea what is going on. My eyes travel to the woman sitting on his lap half naked as she bounces on him. I don’t need a saint to tell me what the two of them are up to.
” Ah, Viona. Come in and close the door.” He calls and I do as instructed.
Walking to his desk, I place a letter on his table.
” What’s this? ” He asks, eyeing the white envelope.
” A resignation letter, Sir.”
He is quick to pick up the envelope and opens it.
I watch as his eyes go over the lines I had spent most of the night writing.
” What is the meaning of this?” He asks, looking confused.
” It means I no longer work for you. I am resigning.” I say, my eyes locked on his.
” But I don’t want to accept your resignation.”
” Well, that’s unfortunate because I no longer want to work for a company where my boss threatens to fire me for turning him down. You don’t have the right to tell me who to date either. Just like I don’t comment on who you screw over. That’s what boundaries are all about.”
His eyes widen at my statement and I see the woman on his lap shifting uncomfortably.
” If you’ll excuse me. ” With one last glance at them, I walk out of the office, head held high.
I almost bump into Bianca who seems to have been listening to us. I can’t help but chuckle at her stupidity. While she is busy getting all personal with me for suspecting I have something going on with the boss, she does not see that even without me, that motherfucker will always stick his dick anywhere there’s a hole.
” You should probably go check who is riding your man’s dick right now. ” I taunt her before walking away.
Stepping out of the company building, reality slowly sinks in. I am now jobless

With a smile on my face, I hail a taxi and head home.
