Claire’s POV.
“Where to ma’am?” My driver asks as I step outside, in front of Days Dream, after that witch girl left.
Something about had changed recently and I have been too curious to find out. Of course, I’ve tried to find out if something had been going on between her and David but despite my efforts, I find nothing.
David had never claimed to show any sort of affection towards her and it kinda made my heart calm. But seriously, that girl looks more different lately. Lile someone who is in love.
Well, what I saw a while ago proved it.
The moment she left the practice room, I had the urge to stalk her, and I did.
I trailed behind her and her assistant to see if they’d say anything that would help me understand who she was with but they said nothing.
Not until I saw one of those models coming to the changing room with a strange girl.
Hearing the package was for Vera, I eavesdropped, and boom….
She was invited for a date night! By who?
My curiosity nearly killed me and it made me question that model girl but she doesn’t’ know anything about who had invited Vera on a date.
“Prolly her boyfriend.” The model had said with a smirk and glint in her eyes.
My heart boiled at her words, I swear I almost snapped her neck.
Now, I think it’s fitting to monitor the girl. I need to stalk her and get answers to my questions.
“Follow that car,” I order my driver, watching as Vera’s car blends with other cars on the road.
“You mean, Ms Vera?” My driver asks. I don’t miss the admiration in his eyes and I bark.
“Move, you son of a bitch!”
Startled, he quickly puts the car in reverse and drives off.

My fingers grind into the palm of my hands. My anger is surging and impatience is all I can feel.
“Take your left,” I order my driver and he obeys.
My eyes pin on Vera’s car.
“Don’t make it too obvious,
you fool. You need to be one car behind.”
He clearly nods, drawing my car back and another Sedan stays between me and Vera’s car.
God, why the fuck is my heart roaring?
I hate it but this curiosity is killing me. Now I understand why they said curiosity killed the cat ’cause it’s about to kill me too. However, I’ll find out all the answers I seek before I die or she dies.
Hmm, the latter seems fitting, I grin at the thought.
In record time, we swerve into one of the popular streets in the upmarket.
My driver moves slowly while I watch Vera’s car park in front of a restaurant.
I see Andrei open the passenger door for her and she steps out, looking regal in that mint-colored spandex dress.
Hell, I hate admitting she looks good.
I gaze at her as she walks across the street whereas Andrei hurries over and opens the restaurant door for her.
Once they’re inside, I hop outside of mine and scurry over to the restaurant.
I crouch low, peeping inside.
From my observation, the restaurant is totally empty save for Vera, Andrei, and a man…two men actually. Both men are wearing aprons as they serve a variety of dishes on a table but one looks different.
Burly arms, muscled back, and toned thighs…
I can’t see his face. I squint my eyes wanting to make out the man’s face but the red and purple light in that far end of the restaurant makes it impossible.
I see Vera gasp and cup her hands over her mouth and suddenly she rushes over to the man and hugs her.
Just as quickly, she pulls back and covers her lips over the man’s.
My heart stings at that, and I don’t know why.
I truly want to know who the man is.
At that, an idea pops into my mind.
I have to sneak in through the back door, yes! I grin and crawl towards the back door.
Thank God, Andrei didn’t see me.
Once I make it to the backside of the restaurant, I look for somewhere to hide but I see none except hiding behind the dumpster.
Ugh!!! I hate that!
How do I stay in that pungent thing?
Looking over, I see the rubbish lying around the dumpster. Before I can even decide, the other man on an apron opens the back door.
“Oh shit!” I curse and dive behind the dumpster, hiding.
Unfortunately, my fit bumps into one of the over-stuffed bags and it makes some noise.
“What is that?” I hear the man talking to himself as he comes closer to the dumpster.
I cup my hand over my nose and mouth not wanting to make any sound. I have to do this so I can sneak into the back door.
Squawk. Squawk…
Rats make that cringing noise but I didn’t know they were biting into my clothes until I felt the stinging pains.
“Ahhhh!!” I scream, jumping to my feet.
The man equally screams, skittering on his feet.
At that moment, the stupid man pours the rubbish he’s holding on me!!!!
“Ahhh!!!!” I double my screams as I feel the garbage, rotten baked beans, noodles, and all the shitty leftovers dropping down on my body.
Omigod!” I belt out, almost crying as I feel the strong urge to puke!
“Ughhhh!!!” the man screams again st the sight of me. “Who are you? Ghosts?”
Quickly, he does a sign of the cross and screams again. “Father lord! I’m gonna call the security!!!”
He runs back inside and I bawl out, running back to my car with the rubbish dropping down from my body.
“Ma’am!?” My driver shoots as he sees me running over. “What-”
I won’t let him finish his useless question as I order, “Get me out of here!!!!”
“Yes, ma’am.” He shouts, hurting into the ca.
He puts it in reverse and starts driving off.
Just then I see the useless chef and Andrei run outside and stare at my car.
Oh, thank fuck Andrei didn’t see me snooping…
And before I knew what was happening, I was already puking all over my driver’s back!
What a fucked up mission!
To be continued…
