Chapter 79. Pointing the gun at…

Book:Just Sex With My Billionaire Daddy Published:2024-11-21

David’s POV.
This morning has been crazy. I’ve been in about three meetings now with my employees and associates. Mr. Ral, one of my partners just flew in from Arizona and was presenting new deals I can’t resist.
Oh, we’ve been at it for hours now as he spills on and on about the potential billions we’ll make if partner together and run the new business.
“My God, Ral. This seems promising.” I say to him, running my eyes over the piles of files on my desk which Ral brought with him.
“Told you so.” He chirps now leaning back against his seat to glare at me.
I take in a single breath, considering the options.
The deal is really attractive, and worthy of a trial. It just reminds me of my meeting with Mr. Oliver yesterday. It came so suddenly but it was a success, except for Claire’s pestering behavior.
I don’t fucking know why the woman is giving her father ideas about us. I don’t want to ruin my relationship with Mr. Oliver, at all.
I’m glad though that the old man is willing to give me a chance. One of which is that I’ll show him how I run my charity organization.
This makes me think of holding a gala night where I can invite everyone to show Mr. Oliver what the charity organization is all about.
“Very well then. I’m taking you on the offer, Ral.”
Standing to my feet after saying that, I adjust my shirt tightly into my pants and buckle my belt.
“I think we should go have lunch, what do you say?” I ask him, strutting along the corner.
Ral emerges on his feet with a grin. “I can’t say no to that.” He booms.
With a short laugh, we both exit my office and take the elevator to the canteen.
The place is bustling with several of my workers meandering around.
I’m not oblivious to the gazes thrown my way. As the CEO it’s rare for me to come here for lunch so I understand. Another reason they gaze at me, especially the female ones is because they’re crushing…
I don’t pay mind to it though I just rattle away with Ral who is by my side as we step deeper into the canteen.
“Hi, boss.” A female employee greets me and I’m forced to look down, seeing the enigmatic smile she sends my way.
“Elara. How nice to see you. Have you fully recovered?” I ask, peering at her with concern.
Just last week I got a report that she’s sick, infected by the flu that spread in the designing department. I consented to her letter of leave of absence, giving her two-weeks break.
I didn’t expect she will back so soon.
“Yes, sir. I went to a family doctor’s place last week where I received full treatment. So, I’m fine now. Healthy once again.” She rattles off.
“That’s awesome. I’m glad you’re finally back…”
She nods and her stare lingers but I decide not to pay attention to it.
“If you’ll excuse us now Elara.” I gush maneuvering around her and falling into step with Ral.
“I can see all women here have eyes on you.” Ral intones with a bit of humor.
“You can say that again, Ral.” I comment with a smirk.
Even if they all do. I only want one person and that is Vera.
Mentioning her name in my mind pushes me to remember last night.
I didn’t expect her to say that. I didn’t know Vera wanted to leave the house so soon. But I can’t allow her to. Especially now her father has proven there’s an evidence out there the mafias might use against me.
I’m afraid she’ll stumble on it. I wonder how she’ll take the news if she sees the video.
If only there’s something that’ll prove that I didn’t kill Helen intentionally but to save her from eternal pain.
As my thoughts swirl, I’m pushed to remember the orgasm denial of last night. Damn, my girl really brought me to the edge and left me just like that.
It took all my control not to pin her on her knee and rut her mouth until her jaw ached.
Fuck. These raw images of last night floating through my mind send fluid down my groin and I can feel my manhood growing tight.
Dammit, I need to think straight, I mutter to myself.
We find an empty table at the back of the canteen and Ral swings inside the booth before I join.
The waiter comes forward and takes our order before leaving. In between waiting for the food we ordered, they brought some chocolate mousse for Ral and me.
“This is delicious.” Ral gushes, scooping the chocolate mousse and devouring it as if he’s never tasted something sweeter.
“Easy, before you get choked on it.” I remind him, watching as he down the mousse like a five-year-old new to chocolate thingy.
“I’ve not had anything chocolate for a while now.” He takes the paper napkin and wipes the corner of his mouth.
“Oh, why?” I ask, licking the stain on my lips.
“Oh, man. I’m aging. I’m not in my twenties anymore…”
“Obviously. You ain’t.”
Another voice but one that is familiar cuts Ral’s words off. Ral and I bring our gazes up and my mouth drops open at the sight of Nathan.
“How did you know we’re here?” I ask Nathan as I rise to my feet, giving him a lopsided hug and slapping his shoulder in a manly way.
“Charlie brought me here.” Nathan takes a seat opposite us and exchanges greetings with Ral.
I introduce them both and they both begin chattering like it’s not the first time they’re meeting.
I give Nathan so much credit for that. He can easily socialize with people and blend into a conversation with ease that’ll not make anyone uncomfortable.
“Oh, really?” Ral asks, peeking up on hearing about the sex dungeon. Nathan already filled Ral in about the sex dungeon and now the man is super interested in going there.
“How come I never knew of such a thing? It’s my fantasy to be in a place like that.” Ral says his thoughts aloud and we both laugh.
“Don’t worry, Ral. You’ll experience how it works, relax.”
“When do they work?” Ral probes.
Without shame, Nathan gushes. “Tonight is one of their working days.”
Ral’s lips kick up in a smile. “I’m interested, man.”
“Then all three of us should go there. Right Truman?” Nathan asks and I nod.
“Yes. Sounds promising…”
While I’m saying that I feel the vibration of my phone. I hurriedly bring it out and I see Brown’s name flashing on the screen.
Why is he calling me? Brown is just one of the new security guys I hired yesterday to tighten Vera’s security.
I wonder why he is calling.
“Excuse me, I’ll take this,” I say to Ral and Nathan gesturing to my phone. Earning their nods, I rise from the seat and walk outside of the canteen.
By now, the call had ended and so I called Brown back.
“Boss, we have some issues here.” He says all too quickly.
“Which is?”
“Vera’s threatening to shoot Andrei or stab herself…”
My eyes are owl-wide at Brown’s words.
“Vera what?” I ask huskily as adrenaline pumps through my veins.
Just then I remember her words from last night. I didn’t know she was this serious. So Vera was willing to go to that extent?
I didn’t know when I wandered off. I just find myself in the garage, ordering the driver to take me to the mansion.
“Don’t cut the call, Brown. Tell me who’s she pointing the gun at…?”
Just like that Brown kept spilling what was happening at the mansion.
To be continued…
