CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHT.

Book:THE SUPREME ALPHA'S HATED LUNA Published:2024-11-20

Alora’S POV.
Alpha Jayce and I were finally able to leave the house today after two days of staying indoors and spending quality time together.
We’ve had sex enough to last us for an entire century.
The notice I had about sex was terrible until it finally happened with my mate and right now, I feel like I want him inside me every second of the day.
Help…
I’ve become a nymphomaniac!
“Alpha Jayce, with all due respect, Sir, Luna is not ready to have a duel with you yet. She still has a lot to learn.” Halle tries to plead my case when Alpha proposes that I have a duel with him.
I deliberately refused to go to his office today. He chose to stay here and watch me train and now, he wants to break my bones.
“It’s okay Halle,” I assure her. She squints and shakes her head in denial.
“We’ve only learned basic skills. Engaging in a duel isn’t good for you right now.”
“Relax, love. He’s my mate. If he hurts me too much, he’ll feel the pain two times as much as I do. That’s an assurance that he won’t do me duty.”
“Look who’s bragging,” says Alpha Jayce as he rises from the bench. “I jokingly proposed the duel, expecting you to say no, but I’m witnessing the complete opposite reaction. This is thrilling! We’ll fight for ten minutes. I won’t be gentle.” He warns and I calmly nod in agreement.
This is my chance to show them that I’m not a hopeless, fragile creature.
The soldiers around make way for us as we walk over to the center of the arena for the duel. I don’t know what Alpha Jayce’s plan is because it doesn’t make any sense that he proposed to have a duel with me in the first place. We are both Alpha werewolves, but he’s a more experienced fighter than I am. More to that, he is an Alpha and a man, he’s stronger than me in every aspect. Why does he want to have a duel with me for ten minutes?
And why did my fat mouth say yes?
He’s going to crush me!
“It’s not too late, you can still turn this down, and let’s go home quietly.” He says, taking his stand and I shake my head vigorously.
Fool!
This is my chance to save myself the pain and embarrassment, but I’m doing the opposite!
“Never!” I flatly deny it, taking a clenched fist pose which I learned from one of the guards back at my former Master’s house. I learned a few fistfight moves from him and I intend to use them on this man standing before me, even though I know it won’t make any difference.
He’s going to beat me to pulp.
“If you say so.” He says with a tiny smile and a careless shrug.
I’m enraged and all I want is to successfully give him a very hard punch in the jaw so he could bleed.
“I’m ready for your attack, Alora.” He signals me and I lunge at him with my right arm circling in a giant roundhouse strike, but he sidesteps his body and my punch goes straight through the air, causing me to almost lose my balance. I stabilise myself and turn to look at him with anger boiling in my heart. He comes back towards me and I make the same move, right hand swinging in the air and he sidesteps and ducks yet again, and now, we are back to where we started. I am now breathing a little heavier than he is.
“Come on.” He urges, tilting his head to the side. I lunge at him again with the same move, this time around, I crash an elbow into his side as I spin under his arm. He bounces straight off of locked knees and comes right at me with a heavy blow. I dodge right away and feel the breeze as his giant fist passes an inch above my head.
My face would have been deformed if that punch had fallen on it.
“Impressive!” He compliments me with raised brows and I blow him a kiss, causing the guards around to giggle while he just shakes his head and signals me to come again.
I swarm through the air at him and come on him like a pile driver. He doges left and raises his elbow to shove it in my face, but stops midway and instead pushes me hard to the ground like I weigh nothing at all. I go back down on one knee and get up just in time to arch around his next crazy lunge. His fist misses my gut by a quarter inch and its wild momentum pulls him past me and downwards a little which puts the side of his head right for a left hook. I let it go from my toes on top. My fist crashes into his ear and he staggers and I follow up with a colossal right to his jaw. Then I dance back and take a deep breath as I try to see what damage I have done to his face.
No damage.
We get on with the fight for ten minutes as he had commanded and in the end, he has me pressed to the ground.
He won. As expected.
I’m panting. I’m out of breath. My lungs are on fire. I’m going to faint.
“That was brilliant!” He starts clapping and everyone else joins him. I smile proudly.
“I had no idea you had such skills. Why haven’t you ever portrayed them?” Asks Halle. I shrug and flash her a polite smile.
“Because I’ve never been in the kind of situation where I needed it.”
“Wow!” she exclaims in amusement. I turn to Alpha Jayce.
“You must be exhausted. Let’s go home. I will shower you with the rest of my compliments when we get home. I swear I never knew you could do as much as throw a punch. You are… Oh sweet Moon goddess, let’s go home, baby.” He pulls me into his arms and we both walk arm in arm out of the arena.
I just proved a brilliant point to all of them and I’m proud.
