Olivia’s POV
There was silence in the dungeon. I was heaving hard, and sweat was dripping down my forehead.
The men looked at me in astonishment and like the brittle glass, the silence broke and they erupted into thunderous laughter.
My grimness didn’t change and I looked at them in hate and disdain.
They continued to cackle and roar. One of them leaned on his friend for support, and the third guy was wiping tears from his eyes.
“Are you being serious? Did you hear her? Stoop!”
One of them mocked while the rest burst into another round of laughter.
“What is the matter, Olivia? Can’t take a little betrayal? Come on, everyone has that backstabber in their lives. You should even be grateful that we had the heart to show you what sort of scum that man that you call your mate is.”
My breathing became faster and deeper, but they paid me no attention and continued to mock me.
“Awwwwnn! You made the little Luna angry. Maybe you should apologise to her.”
“Ha! She doesn’t want an apology. Maybe she wants us to play that video again for her. Was anyone watching her face? She seemed a little aroused by it.”
My head was bent low. My voice had changed. My body was taunt and tense.
“You wouldn’t dare!”
“Oh, but we would.”
I heard the sound of metal, and I speculated that one of them was unbuckling his belt.
“You are very pretty, Olivia. And now that you are all tied up and your mate is with our sexy princess, us having our way with you wouldn’t be as difficult. I saw the way your eyes lit up when you sent your man slam into our princess. You little pervert. You want it to, don’t you?”
I heard the sound of feet shuffling closer to me.
“We would be more than happy to satisfy those needs”
The sound of feet drew closer. My blood was boiling, and I felt Nima agitated, growling, snarling, and howling in my head.
“Nima…”
“Let me take control! Let me put them in their place!”
It happened so fast. A bright glow filled the room, and energy rushed through my body at blinding speeds.
“Arrgghh!”
I ripped the ropes on my wrist to shreds and tore the ones that bound my feet.
The fear in the eyes of my captors fed my blood lust. My heart beat faster while my tongue felt dry, craving the metallic taste of blood.
“What… what… happened?”
“The fuck! Didn’t you see what happened? Why are her eyes that way?”
“Can you two stop yapping? Get her restrained!”
They all hesitated, but one soon picked up the courage to grab fresh ropes and approach me.
“I have no idea what sort of game you are playing, but you will behave!”
“Turn on your friends.”
My voice was cold and deadly, almost like an unearthly sinister whisper.
The man with the ropes stopped and stood there like a statue. His friends began to panic.
“Hey! Hey! What is going on with you? Grab her, goddamn it!”
The man turned and faced his colleagues. They gasped.
“Paul! Your… your eyes! They’re white!”
“Paul! Snap out of it! Paul!”
Paul was silent for a while, and in a flash, he pounced on his comrades fiercely.
A fight ensued, and I watched Paul lash out violently at his friend, who tried their best to reel him in and bring him back to his senses.
“Paul! Stop this! What has she done to you!”
One of them tried to run to me, but Lila grabbed him and slammed him to the ground.
“You! You did this! What did you do to him?!”
I ignored the comments, continued to stare at Paul, who was under my control and continued to egg him on.
In a few minutes, one of the other two men was captured and tied.
He was tossing at my feet, and Paul went for the other one.
An evil smile crept on my face. I bent down and grabbed a handful of hair.
His eyes met mine in horror. My fangs were bared, and I was more than willing to rip off his flesh.
“Am I still your pathetic little Luna?”
My voice was harsh and oozing with hate.
I pulled his hair and raised my palm. His eyes grew wider still.
“What! What are you…”
The side of my palm came down on his neck, and just like that, he was thrust into an unconscious slumber.
The other man fell to my feet by Paul’s hand, and I knocked him out as well.
Paul stood in front of me. His eyes were a ghostly white like his pupils and irises had become one with the whites of his eyes.
“Fall unconscious.”
That scary voice came back again, and Paul dropped like a rock at my feet.
I felt my heart slowly return to normal as Nima relinquished hold of me.
I staggered weakly and fell to the ground on my hands and knees, coughing up small amounts of blood.
What had just happened?
I turned around and saw my captors unconscious.
“What…”
My eyes caught one of them, untied but unconscious nonetheless.
Small packets of my ordeal returned to me.
Paul. His name was Paul. I…I had…
I didn’t know what I did, but I knew I had to tie him up before he woke up.
I found more rope and propped him next to his comrades.
I was free. Now, I had to get out of here.
I couldn’t come in the way the guards did. There would be more guards there, more than I could handle.
I had to find another escape.
My eyes searched the dark and damp dungeon fervently, but there was no escape. It was a solid rock all around me. Not even the tiniest beam of light could…
My eye caught something. It was faint but I recognised a tiny portion of the dungeon had a perfectly rectangular crack that had little light seeping through.
It was an uncertain guess, but that had to be a door.
I wasted no time and rushed to it. My hands felt it, and relief washed over me. It was a door, a well-hidden one.
I was weak, but Nima lent me some of her strength. My eyes glowed again, and I shoved the door with all my might.
Crash!
The door gave in. It was ripped from its hinges and fell flat into the room that lay on the other side.
“I raised my head and gasped at the faces I saw. What… What were they doing here? Why did it have to be them?
“Well, well, well, if it isn’t, dear Olivia.”
My heart skipped a beat.
“Crap!”
