Andre’s POV
I opened my eyes and felt Olivia’s soft body being squeezed against me as she slept peacefully. I brushed her hair off her face and kissed her forehead, which woke her up from her sweet slumber.
“I’m sorry I woke you.”
She said nothing and snuggled closer to me. She smelled of flowers and minty grass. Her ass was curved beautifully, and there were flowers in her ravaged hair.
“You know that we can’t stay here forever, kitten.”
She grumbled sweetly, and I stood up and helped her get dressed.
Putting her clothes on felt like a tease. Little by little, her gorgeous body was being hidden away. And for some reason, I wanted her all over again.
My fingers grazed her nipples as I pulled her dress down. Her face was flushed, and I grabbed her face and pulled her close to me.
“I can’t wait to have you again, mate.”
She smirked and covered my lips with a soft kiss. I groaned against her lips and struggled to pull away from her. She was addictive.
We finally left the greenhouse. Our hands were looped together, and as we walked, I picked out a dried leaf from her hair.
“You look a mess,” I said with a tease.
“And I wonder whose fault that is?” she replied naughtily.
We got inside and were talking in sweet whispers.
“Next time, I think I want to see you in that red lingerie.”
“Andre!” She whispered with a sweet blush on her face.
I licked my lips seductively as I took in her embarrassment. She looked so cute.
We got to the room, and as soon as I closed the door, I swooped hungrily on her lips. She kissed me back, and I carried her to the bed. My body felt hot and ravenous.
Why did I want her again so badly?
I grabbed her hair and muffed her with my lips, and she had to push me away gently.
“I think I’m a little tired. I really need some rest.”
Her words reeled me in, and I took a deep breath. I had fucked the hell out of her. How could I be so selfish? Of course, she needed to rest.
I planted a soft kiss on her forehead and smiled.
“I’m sorry. I just got carried away. I’ll get you some milk to help you sleep.”
I got off her and left the room, but not without a teasing wink that made her hide her face under the covers.
I headed downstairs with the thought of milk but soon stopped dead in my tracks as I saw who was in front of me.
My eyes narrowed, and my nostrils flared as I tried to get myself under control.
“What are you doing here, Nicole? Last I checked, this wasn’t your floor.”
She scoffed and whipped her hair angrily.
“Cut the crap, Andre!”
Her looks became accusing as she pointed a furious finger at me.
“You know, I should have known that she was your mate. The way you two were always buzzing around each other was rather suspicious for the first day. It’s rather convenient if I think about it. So, how long did it take you to find out?”
She folded her arms angrily as she blocked my way, demanding an answer. I glared at her to move, but she didn’t budge. Knowing Nicole, she wasn’t going to move without an answer.
I could just shove her out of my way, but I had to keep in mind that she was my mate’s mother. She was a bad one, to be honest, but I respected Olivia.
“I knew since the first day that I saw her. Now, move!”
She said nothing and pursed her lips together.
“I knew Olivia was a bitch right from the start. But you are a different story”
She took a step forward, and I began to shake in anger. She was testing my patience.
“Don’t you feel disgusted, Andre? Aren’t you appalled by your actions? For fucks sake! You are sleeping with my daughter, your stepdaughter! You have been with me, and now, you are with her!”
Nicole was nearly screaming at the top of her lungs. I knew what she was trying to do, but I wasn’t going to play into her stupid plans. She wasn’t worth my time anymore.
“You are delusional and crazy. I did nothing with you, Nicole. There was nothing between us.”
I took a threatening step forward and drew myself to my full height. My eyes were bearing down on her with immense heat, and I could see sweat beads beginning to form on her forehead.
“Let me help you out of your confusion. Whatever ‘we’ had was purely contract-bound. I feel it hasn’t sunk into your thick head even after three years of being here.”
She was stunned, and her mouth agape with shock.
“How dare you?! You disgusting and ungrateful man! After everything I have done for you, you could stoop so low to sleep with my daughter while I was still the Luna. You were lying and cheating on me…”
I allowed her to hurl her barrage of insults at me. The earlier she got it all out of her system, the better for us all.
After about five minutes of her ranting, I had had enough. I raised my hand, and she stopped talking immediately, as if she was being remote-controlled.
“You have been well-paid these past few years, Nicole. You have money and assets at your disposal. You are lucky that I am even allowing you to still have them, even after our contract was terminated. You are especially lucky that I am in a good mood today as well; otherwise, I would have made you regret everything that you just said to me.”
My voice became deeper and more menacing, and my eyes narrowed in on her, murderously.
“I will warn you, and I will do it just once. If you dare think of making trouble for me or Olivia, I will make sure that you never see this place again.”
I saw goosebumps appear on her arms after my threat, but she ignored the danger she was in and continued to talk.
“The jokes on you, Andre. Do you really think that I want to stay here, after all the embarrassment you and that stupid girl brought up on me…”
“Then you are very much welcome to leave here whenever you want. You have a car, don’t you?”
I cut her off, and her cheeks filled with colour in a fury.
I couldn’t help but smile. Her departure would spare the pack of her incompetence. Still, having her buzz around here was sickening. It would do Olivia much good to have Nicole gone. I didn’t want Olivia to see her mother and feel guilty or unsafe. I had already made it clear to everyone that there was nothing between Nicole and me.
I expected Nicole to make a comeback, but she remained silent. She had lost this battle and walked away in frustration.
I watched her walk to the front door and slam it shut as she left.
I was hardly concerned. My biggest worry now was getting milk for my Princess from the kitchen.
