Olivia’s POV
I lay on the bed alone, staring at the ceiling. Andre’s words still stunned me. It was still unbelievable. I was anxious and wanted him to come home immediately and tell me everything, even though it had only been a few minutes since he left.
I rolled over on my side, and my body felt wet and sticky. I still smelled like my own juices and could pick up Andre’s scent all over my body. I needed to have a shower.
I sighed, grabbed my towel, and headed to the bathroom. It still felt so odd staying in Andre’s room instead of mine. It was on the same floor but roomier than mine and smelled sweetly of lavender.
I got into the bathroom, and as soon as the cold, wet tiles made contact with my feet, they sent shivers down my spine, and I began to have flashbacks of last night. They were vague and faint, but I couldn’t forget the feeling of having Andre deep inside me.
The way he thrust deep inside me and whispered in my ears.
Another shiver ran down my spine, and I smiled. But just as quickly, the smile disappeared. Why on earth was I smiling? There was nothing to smile about. I had just had sex with my stepdad, but there was also the possibility that he wasn’t my stepdad.
The same possibility still blew my mind. But I also hoped that there was some truth to this.
I looked around the spacious bathroom and was confused. There was an array of expensive soaps and shower gels. I was unsure of which one to pick.
“Why does he have so many?”
I sighed, picked the one that smelled nicest to me and began to shower warmly. As I lathered my body and scrubbed, I thought of Andre. I imagined that he was here in the bathroom with me, touching me, kissing every part of my skin and whispering into my ears about how beautiful I was.
“No, Olivia. What is wrong with you?” I chided.
I snapped out of my trance and came back to reality. I felt a blush spread on my face. I couldn’t believe I was thinking about him like that. I groaned and hurriedly finished up my bath. I need to get out of here.
Deep down, however, I wished that it wasn’t true, that they weren’t together. It was selfish, but my mother didn’t deserve him. I wanted him. I didn’t want to feel like a slut each time he touched me and kissed me.
I wanted to believe everything: that he was my destined mate desperately, and he was not married to my mother, and I wasn’t just some slut that was sleeping with her stepdad.

I felt something soft gaze on my cheek, and my eyes fluttered open. I gasped and sat up in fright.
“A…Andre?”
Before I could even get another word out, his lips swooped on mine, and he gave me a steamy kiss. I tried to push him away, but as soon as my hands placed themselves on his strong, muscular chest, they remained there. I couldn’t pull them away or push him away.
I groaned against his lips and felt his hard chest. I was under his spell. His lips tasted divine. I wished that this would last forever.
Finally, he pulled away, and I immediately felt giddy.
“It seems my kitten missed me.”
He pulled out a beautiful bouquet of flowers from behind his back and gave them to me. I was shocked and took them with shaky hands. No one had given me flowers before.
I smelled the roses, and they smelled wonderful.
“Th…thank you,” I said nervously with a blush on my face, spreading all the way up to my ears.
I kept them gently on the table while Andre closed the space between us and buried his face in my neck, warming it with gentle kisses.
“You have no idea how much I missed you, kitten. You smell so good, too.”
“I love it when you smell like me.”
He grabbed my hands, pinned them to the bed, and kissed me more. I groaned and moaned softly. I was enjoying the kiss, but we had something important to talk about. I had barely been able to think ever since he came in.
“Andre…I… ahhhhnn…we have… something to talk about…ahhhhn…”
Finally, I found strength in my arms, and I was able to push him off me gently.
I was panting and sweating from just a kiss. I saw a nasty smile curl his lips and turned my head away in shame. I hated when he did this to me.
“I see my kitten wants to get down to business. You can be such a mood killer sometimes, kitten, but you look so cute when you want to be serious.”
I rolled my eyes, and he finally got off me and sat beside me.
“You said that my mother isn’t your wife. I want to know everything.”
He took a deep breath.
“Well, it…”
