“That’s it?” Kayden asked as he put his hands behind his back and continued to stare at Eddie.
There was no threat in his words but Eddie felt stress!
He broke out into a cold sweat and suddenly, something occurred to him, the bet! He had just made a bet with Kayden. Just as this thought flashed in his mind, he was on his knees at Kayden’s feet and said in a crying and frightened voice, “I was wrong. I will confess!”
How fast was that!
His previous pride was all gone and he turned into a complete coward!
After saying the words, Eddie thought for a moment, then said at the top of his lungs with no regard for his pride, “I never should have offended you. That was the biggest mistake I’ve ever made…”
His trembling voice rang in the whole hotel. It was super awkward!
The women listened in awe. Eddie really went all out.
Watching Eddie’s clownish performance, everyone was in a state of confusion!
“All right!” Kayden coldly interrupted Eddie and then said in a cold voice, “Get outta here!”
His expression didn’t change for a second, and his posture stayed the same as it had been.
Eddie ah’d and looked up at Kayden, a little confused. He let him go?
That was a little too easy, wasn’t it?
Nope! There must be a trap! Maybe Kayden would shoot him before he even walked out! He had seen such tricks on TV. This guy must be plotting something. He hit Orson so mercilessly just now that Orson was still in a coma. He messed with this guy’s girlfriend, could can he let him go so easily?
Thinking of this, Eddie hastily said, “I really didn’t mean it. I’ve already apologized. I haven’t done anything to your girlfriend. I haven’t even touched her hand. I admit to having had some fantasies inside my head about us, but that’s all!”

The women all looked at him in disappointment. What a coward!

Eddie understood Kayden in a second. Kayden must be saying he wanted time alone with Ann, so he stood up in a hurry, and said, “Thank you! Enjoy your time!”
After saying his words, Eddie ran away. However, he would not let this go like this. He would find an opportunity to take revenge on Kayden. He swore that he would make Kayden return today’s humiliation.

After watching Eddie leave, the women ran off in a hurry. Kayden suddenly called out to them, and the women were shaking with fear. Kayden didn’t say anything, but just pointed to Orson on the ground.
The women saw this and rushed to pick Orson up and run!
Ann looked at the dramatic turnout and wondered if she was dreaming. It was so dramatic. How could her cousin be that cool? It was true that the more powerful a man is, the more attractive he is.
“Thank you, Kayden.” Ann let go of her hands that were holding Kayden’s arm with a smile on her face, being instantly relaxed. At least now it seemed that Kayden did care about her.
Kayden gave her a cold look and said, “Don’t flatter yourself. I have no intention of helping you. Go away, I have things to do.”
He still sounded cold and very condescending!
Ann smiled cheekily and said in an indifferent manner, “You are just being tongue-tied. You punished Eddie for me and didn’t explain I wasn’t your girlfriend. I can tell that you care about me. Cousin, in fact, you are not as bad as you appear and you don’t hate the Scott family that much. Deep inside, you think of me as family, right?”
Kayden frowned and said, “That’s enough! Don’t take yourself too seriously. The Scott family will always be my sworn enemy. Now get the hell out of here!”
He pointed to the other side of the road and coldly said.
Ann pouted and made a cute gesture saying, “I won’t!”
“Get out!” Kayden’s face turned cold and the words were roared out with murderous intent.
Being yelled at by Kayden so suddenly, Ann, who had just been smiling, instantly stiffened. She looked at Kayden, her eyes full of fear for him.
She sobbed and plucked her courage before saying, “Kayden, just…”
“I told you to get lost!” Kayden grabbed Ann by the throat the moment the words came out of his mouth, pulling her in one swift motion right to the front of him.
At this moment, he looked extreme terrifying!
His patience was wearing thin; after all, Ann wasn’t Georgia!
Ann’s face went white for a moment and she realized that he was really angry. Her cousin was too shifty, and she didn’t even know how she was going to communicate with him.
She felt suffocated.
Ann couldn’t stop coughing as she was caught in her throat.
Kayden did not have the intention of letting go, still strangling her neck with a deadly grip, his eyes staring straight into her eyes. He said word by word, “I have nothing to do with you or your family, and right now, I only have hatred for all of you! Back then, when my parents was dying, your parents didn’t do anything. On the contrary, they pushed my parents closer to death. You grew up being doted on, so of course you can pity me and think of yourself as the center of the world. But I will not spoil that because you are not qualified.”
“Get the fuck outta here!” With those words, Kayden shoved Ann to the ground.
Ann’s eyes had watered with tears of fear. Kayden’s attitude changed too fast.
She didn’t dare say anything more, just gave Kayden a long stare, then ran off into the darkened street.
It wasn’t until Ann disappeared in his sight that Kayden took a long, deep breath.
Suddenly, he looked up at the sky with a thoughtful look, and after a few seconds, he said to the sky above, “You trash, since you’re all here, why hide? If you are looking for death, I’m here!”
