Amara’s jaw dropped as she stared at the pictures in shock as she wasn’t expecting me to know about something like this. I smiled as I watch her being uneasy and dumbstruck; this is only the beginning.
Like I had said, Amara was bound to make rash decisions and she really did. For the first time, she wasn’t thorough. Her mistake was that she met with most of the shareholders in public places so it wasn’t hard to take photos.
The guilty shareholders that were once in support her claim had suddenly gone quiet; so they bowed down their head in embarrassment. Amara on the other hand was shaking in fury.
“This doesn’t prove anything.” She claimed.
“So why would you be giving out money to them?” One of the shareholders who didn’t accept her bribe asked. She opened her mouth but had no excuse.
“This isn’t all.” I commented as I clicked on a button on the remote, revealing all the evidences of Amara’s fraud and the voice recordings I took from Jude Clayton, her patner in crime.
The large hall turn into a loud uproar as everyone watched and listened to the evidences. Amara’s face had turned pale white as she wasn’t expecting the turn of events.
“Where did you get those??” Was the first thing she thought to ask.
“You really think that I wouldn’t find out about your activities in the company?” I asked back.
“You claimed to have given your all to sustain this company for the past four years when this was actually what you’ve been doing. Is this the person you all wanted to support as the CEO of the company?” Another one of the shareholders asked, directing his questions to the other shareholders that Amara had bribed.
“With all these evidences that has been shown to us, it would wise for us to make sure that Amara and her accomplices face the consequences of their actions.” An elderly shareholder suggested.
“What do you have in mind as the CEO?” Another shareholder asked me.
I smiled at the question; “I would like for us to unanimously dismiss both Amara and her accomplice so as to uphold justice and order within the company.” I said.
Most of the shareholders nodded their head in support of decision while Amara on the other hand wouldn’t have it.
“You can’t dismiss me from the company, not after everything that I’ve done to make it this way!!” She screamed at the top of her voice.
“We can do that and we will. Who is in support of the dismissal of Amara Dyson from the company? Please show by raising your hands.” I said and all of my dad’s most loyal shareholders raised their hands immediately.
Seeing that they had no power, the smaller shareholders whom Amara had bribed had no choice but to raise their hands also, thereby infuriating Amara.
“You fools!! After all the money I wasted on you, this is how you’ll pay me??” She screamed out, directly admiting to the allegations made against her.
“And you…” She turned to face me.
“I’m not going to let you take it all!! Never!!! I’ll make you regret ever trying to steal what’s mine for the rest of your life.” She threatened but I didn’t falter. I laughed out loud like what she had just said was funny.
“You’re laughing??” She asked in anger.
“Save your energy for the your trial because it isn’t going to end here.” I advised. Her face squeezed tightly in anger.
“You bitch!!” She cussed out sadly wanted to attack me but was caught by the security who had came into the large hall in time after a call from my secretary.
The dragged her out of the conpany but that didn’t stop her from screaming that she would be back to take it all and end me.

Meanwhile, Nicholas and Rafael stood on the deck of their newly acquired yatch as they savored the fruits of their victory. Rafael genuinely admired Nicholas for his abilities.
Obtaining the yacht company from Richard wasn’t an easy task but with Nicholas as his patner and utilizing his great wisdom and strategies in the business world, he was able to get what he deemed as the impossible.
As Rafael showered him with compliments, Nicholas only responded with a smile as his thoughts were on Catherine. She was still yet to call him. He knew she might be busy but he was still dying to hear her voice.
He found himself missing her badly each passing second. He stared at his phone in anticipation like she would call him at any moment.
“Are you expecting a call from someone?” Rafael asked when he noticed his unyielding gaze on his phone while Nicholas gave a small nod as an answer.
“Who is it? Someone important?” He asked again as he tried to peep at his phone.
“Yes.” Nicholas answered in a curt manner as he placed the phone in his back pocket. Rafael, realizing that the topic wasn’t one Nicholas would like to talk about decided to change it.
“Now that I’ve managed to get this yacht company from my cousin, I don’t plan to stop here. I would like to take on a higher position in the Carthwright Group.” Rafael said as he took a small sip of his wine.
“Gaining the yacht company won’t guarantee you what you’re looking for. Why don’t you improve on your abilities first?” Nicholas suggested.
“I have no time for that currently because I know after obtaining this company from him, Richard won’t back down. He has eyes on my birthright and I can’t let him have it.” Said Rafael.
“You don’t have to be scared of people like Richard; they are usually blinded by greed.”
“So what would you do if you were in my shoes?” Rafael asked him.
“I would just watch him because people like him easily make mistakes and when that happens, I’ll take my chance and strike.” Nicholas said. Rafael stared at him silently, admiring his smart strategey.
“That’s a really good plan.” Rafael praised him.
“I know.” Nicholas answered with a cocky smile dancing on his lips. That made Rafael laugh out.
Rafael began to play symphonic music to celebrate their elevated
partnership.
“Why don’t you bring in dancers next time we celebrate, to liven the atmosphere?” Nicholas proposed.
“I can’t. Dancing is a taboo in the Cartwright family.”
“Why’s that?” Nicholas asked absent-mindedly.
Rafael proceeded to explain the disdain his grandfather and parents had for dancing. When Nicholas heard this, he felt a surge of anger, realizing that
this matter was related to his mother.
However, he suppressed his emotions, clinked glasses with Rafael, and encouraged him to pursue power and become the true leader
of the Cartwright family.
Rafael was elated that he had support from a man like Nicholas. As soon as he left the yacht, Nicholas smile vanished. Returning to his residence, he eagerly called Catherine, longing to be by her side immediately.
