“I don’t want to go back to the hotel. I want to be with Brother Sachin.”
No matter how Corey tried to persuade her, Ying Xiaoxiao was unwilling to leave with him. At last, she hugged Sachin so tightly that Corey couldn’t pull her back no matter how hard he tried.
Sachin looked helpless.
Rosiley saw through his helplessness. She wanted to laugh but couldn’t.
If Ying Xiaoxiao were not drunk, Rosiley and Ying Xiaoxiao would genuinely have felt that she was behaving like this deliberately.
In the end, there was no other way. Rosiley could only say, “Well, let’s take her home temporarily and drop her back at the hotel when she wakes up tomorrow.”
It was the only way out.
Corey helped Ying Xiaoxiao into their car and watched them leave.
“Corey, can you come out alone without bringing this younger sister of yours in the future?”
At the thought of the chaotic scene just now, Ying Xiaoxiao could not help being a little angry.
Corey rubbed his aching temples with both hands and said helplessly, “I had no idea that it would turn out like this. I won’t allow Xiaoxiao to drink when taking her out again.”
Drinking was indeed something that could ruin the fun!
Ying Xiaoxiao noticed that Corey was rubbing his temples. His brows were furrowed, indicating that he was particularly uncomfortable.
She pursed her lips and pretended to ask casually, “Are you not feeling well?”
Hearing that, Corey looked up at her with a teasing smile lingering on his lips. “Are you worried about me?”
“No, I’m not.” Ying Xiaoxiao turned her face away guiltily.
“Why is she being dishonest with her inner self? Does she think that I’m too blind to see the worry in her eyes?”
Corey chuckled before grabbing her hand and entwining his fingers with hers.
“Let’s go back,” he murmured.
His palm was pretty warm.
Ying Xiaoxiao lifted the corners of her mouth slowly as she replied softly, “Hmm.”
Corey smiled and led her toward his car.
The shadows of the two slowly stretched over the cement floor, clinging together in what seemed to be an eternal picture.
It would have been a lie if Rosiley had said that she did not mind Ying Xiaoxiao going home with her.
Although Ying Xiaoxiao had said that Sachin was not her ideal boyfriend, Rosiley could not help feeling jealous when she saw how much she relied on Sachin.
Moreover, Sachin was willing to let Ying Xiaoxiao approach him, which proved that she was undoubtedly not the same as other women to him.
Rosiley tucked Ying Xiaoxiao in, then turned around and fixed her eyes on the man leaning against the door, saying with a faint smile, “She’s sleeping peacefully at last.”
She walked over as she spoke.
When she reached Sachin, he took her hand and said, “Then the rest of the time is mine.”
Rosiley looked straight into his deep, black eyes and pursed her lips, a hint of hesitation in her eyes.
“Just ask whatever you want to ask,” he said.
“I…” Rosiley bit her lower lip and took a deep breath. “Will your father force you to marry Xiaoxiao?”
Sensing her uneasiness, Sachin raised his hand to stroke her cheek and said softly, “Rosiley, my father can’t control my life.”
Rosiley looked at him intently. She always felt a little bit uneasy inside, even though she knew he was telling the truth.
She was afraid that one day she would not be able to hold his hand.
She was scared that her fears would be realized.
