I GET WHAT YOU GIVE.

“I deserve it. Whatever you are inflicting on me, I deserve it tenfold, Wendy.”
“What are you saying to me? After you messed me up and you are saying I can do whatever it is, I want with you. Don’t give me the victim card, Sihwa. I will burn you to crisps and you won’t recognize yourself when you look at yourself in the mirror. You wrecked my life and killed the people I cherish. How dare you?” She punched him on the cheek and her tears kept dripping onto his nose. “I love Aiden. Why did you kill him?” She broke into sobs and punched him. “What have I done to you? Why do you keep chasing after me? What the hell did I tell you that you have to kill the people I love? Why did you burn down our home? What exactly do you want from me?”
Sihwa closed his eyes and reopened them as it glimmered for a second. Wendy’s eyes glimmered in black and white in return.
What just happened?
She took a deep breath and rested her fists on his chest, still sitting on his upper stomach, while sobbing. “Tell me, Sihwa, what do you want from me?”
Why do both of them have the same eyes and almost the same hair?
“I told you, Wendy. You can do whatever you want with me. I don’t care. You wanna take your revenge on me? Go ahead. I can’t make up for what I’ve done to you. I know you can’t forgive my sins. You hate me, isn’t it? I get it, Wendy, and I don’t care if you hate me or poison me to death. You are free to do whatever you want with me.”
“Why are you acting like this? Why are you submitting yourself to me? You did wrong things to me and you are the one telling me what to do. What sort of manipulative tactic is this? What are you scheming, Sihwa? This is what you did to me four years ago. You gave me a gun to shoot your forehead and landed at the hospital. What are you gonna gain from all this? What do you think you are doing to me? I don’t understand. You want me to feel sorry for you or what? I don’t get you. Why are you so obsessed with me? You would hurt me and want me to punish you. Does that make any sense to you? I’m not stupid. Sihwa, tell me what you are planning and why you killed some of your siblings? And don’t let me ask you again, what do you want from me?” Wendy screamed. “Why did you take the lives of my grandpa, Aiden, and my parents? Just what are you doing?”
He closed his eyes and reopened them again. Still glimmering, he smiled a little. “I want nothing from you, Wendy.”
“What did you just say?” She reacted.
“That’s the truth.” His eyes returned to normal. “The only thing I want from you is for you to be my only mate. I know that’s not possible. I don’t want to force you into anything. You got multiple mates and choices to make. Whatever I did to my siblings was to save you.”
“To save me?” She frowned.
“Yes, I truly want you to be with me, Wendy. But…” he hesitated before he continued. “I don’t want an alpha hurting you, love. Their attempt was to wreck you apart, but I saved you and kept you away from them.”
“What nonsense?” She tightened her grip again on his turtleneck and left his face up to hers. “Was killing the people I cherish saving me, too? What kind of lies is this?” She shouted at his face.
His gaze softened. “Wendy, I didn’t mean to hurt you. I cared about you, love.”
“Spare me the bullshit. Don’t call me your love again?” She seriously warned him. “Why did you kill Aiden?”
“Aiden intended to kill you if he didn’t have you for himself.”
“You are a blatant liar.” Wendy yelled at his face and punched him, dropping his neck to the ground. She was growing weaker by the second, so the punch didn’t actually affect him.
He went on. “I was born into the Grimwolf family after my father raped my mother and got her pregnant. And because I was born as an unusual Alpha, I got used as an experiment.”
His father raped his mother?
“I’m just someone with no feelings, Wendy. I’m possessed by the darkness fighting inside me.”
“What are you talking about? Spare me all that nonsense.”
“They are not nonsense.”
“Tell me the truth.” Wendy’s lips trembled. “Have we met before?”
“What do you mean?”
“Answer the damn question, Sihwa.” She yelled and squeezed her claws into Sihwa’s chest. He flinched in pain with right eye shut and responded. “Yes, we met four years ago.”
“Before I turned 10, have we met before my mother got married to my stepfather?”
For 30 seconds, he was silent and a few strands of his dark blonde hair covered his eyes because he shook his head.
“Sihwa, don’t waste my time.”
“Yes, I met you as a kid.” He responded.
“Then what happened? Why do I barely remember you? Did you know I was your mate back then?”
“Yes.” He gave out a straight answer.
“You knew?”
“Yes, Wendy. I knew who you were when we first met.”
“Then why do I barely remember you? I want to know how all this got started? Why are you like a blur in my memories?”
“That’s because I took away your memories after you had an accident?”
Wendy’s eyes broadened. “An accident??”
“Yes, you got traumatized when you saw the dead bodies of your bullies I killed. You couldn’t keep a sane state. You programmed it in your head that you killed them. Filled with so much guilt, you got hit by a car and got hospitalized for a month. Your body temperature increases at each second and if it doesn’t go down according to the doctor who treated you, he said you could die. Your father, he was worried sick.”
“You knew my father, too?”
“Yes, he begged me to save you.”
“MY father did?”
“Yes, I felt guilty for letting you go through something so horrible. You were innocent and too young to see such a thing. Had to wipe out your memories of me. I didn’t want you to see me as a monster. I wanted to come across you in the future and you would be so happy to see me. I don’t want to ruin you and your mental state. Your health was failing, and I had to erase my image from your memory.”
“Why did you kill those children? You could have warned them or jokingly threatened them to stay away from me and they would have listened to you. Not taking their lives away from them. They didn’t deserve it. You took the lives of innocent children. How could you? Their parents went through grief.”
