Thea
A day had been agreed upon for us to go to the club, I was excited as well as the girls. I could sense Angel’s reluctance in letting us go, I knew his reasons were to protect us but for how long?
No one knew what would happen during the operation against Sparrow, I hoped nothing bad happened to the men but none of us could wait till they returned from the operation to have some fun. It was overdue and there would be guards protecting us so no one needed to worry.
We had taken a day out to go shopping for club wears and nothing excited me more at this time. It was going to be my first outing with the girls.
“Here, lets take a picture.” Cassandra said bringing out her phone. Camila and I perched beside her as she raised her phone for a selfie. We had each pair of clothes we were supposed to try on hanging on our chest as we posed for the pictures.
“Alright, take a picture of Camila and I.” I said dragging camila by the hand to pose at a better background. Cassandra huffed and shook her head showing displeasure but I found her expression amusing.
“Did you have to rub it on my face that she’s your bestfriend?” She said passing me a mesn glare but it only amused camila and I.
“Come on, don’t be jealous. Thea would save you any day over me… You’re her lover’s sister and extremely important.” Camila said but Cassandra didn’t buy into the words of consolation.
“Blah and whatever.” She said and took her position. “Pose….” She said and camila and I held each other. Her face was wrinkled as she took each picture but as the second went on she couldn’t keep down the smile that had been threatening to stretch her lips.
“I still hate you both but you two are adorable.” She said the last word with a cute smile. Camila and I were excited as we went through each slide. We took turns taking pictures with Cassandra later on and then had our personal photos.
We continued shopping, enjoying each other’s company even more.
Cassie and I were outside waiting for Camila to step out with a new cloth she decided to wear. She had been too indecisive about what to wear. She wasn’t used to environments like the club nor did she wear club clothes so it was understandable that she didn’t feel comfortable in most of the outfits. She finally came out and unlike the rest, she looked more comfortable with this she had on. It was a black pant and an open back satin top.
“Just perfect, you don’t need anything else.” I said giving camila a warm smile. She smiled back at me although I could sense a little unease in her.
“What do you think Cassie?” She said turning towards cassandra.
“I’m with Thea on it.” She said seeming genuine with her reply.
“I should show Caspian then.” She said and reached out to her purse to get a smartphone much to my surprise.
“You’ve got a phone?” I said shocked. All camila and I ever used were burner phones because the men wanted to keep us safe from tracking, although the initial reason was to stop us from communicating with our family.
“Yes.” Camila said turning towards us with a smile. She looked at the phone and twirled it in her hand.
“Caspian gifted me not too long.”
“Oh …” I muttered. Thinking about Amgel and why I hadn’t gotten my phone back or a new one. I felt offended.
“Oouuu….” Cassie mocked. “Your man needs to step up.”
“Your brother needs to step up.” I retorted.
“Just admit it, he’s an ass….”
“Yet you wanted me back with him.” I said and she shrugged. I was hoping to put her out of her attack.
“Lets say, you two deserve each other.” My voice got caught up in my throat and I blinked severally having not expected such blunt remark from Cassandra.
“I mean it in a good way, trust me Thea.” She said seeing my reaction. She looked like I had misunderstood her. “I can’t imagine the both of you with any other person. Have you seen yourselves in the mirror at the same time? You two are a twin flame and I predict a power couple in the next few years.” She said.
“You’re not doing some damage control are you?”
“Of course not Thea. Think about it? How you were before you fell in love with Angel and how you are now, which is the better version?” She said and I had a good thought about it. I was really different from who I used to be. I just couldn’t believe it. The Thea that didn’t give a fuck about anything or anyone and lived wildly was now this Thea? I felt more human.
“And Angel?” Cassie continued. “My brother isn’t the same as the person I knew when I left for school a year ago Thea. You’ve made him a changed man. I never thought I could see Angel filled with so much love.” She said beaming a warm and grateful smile at me.
Angel… He was different indeed, not the soulless step brother whom I was scared of but had an irresistible lustful attraction towards him. He wasn’t rock after all and had a big heart beneath his ruthlessness.
I smiled, sighing in satisfaction. Even though our personalities were not a hundred percent changed, we had greatly improved from our former selves.
While we were almost concluding our shopping, I received a phone call from Angel and my heart began to race the moment I heard his voice.
“Hey….” He spoke in a low, raspy voice. I blushed and smiled from ear to ear, curling my toes and twisting my fingers.
“Hi….” I spoke gently.
“How’s it going?” He asked and I i felt butterfly tickles in my heart, suddenly wishing he was here.
“Pretty good.”
“I miss you a lot.” He said and I paused, allowing his words to sink deep into my heart. I let out a deep sigh to ease the weight of excitement I felt from his words.
“It’s just been few hours Angel.” I spoke more softly, tucking in my lip to hide my blush. The girls were looking my way and whispering to each other.
“Still…. Your absence speaks so loud.”
“Don’t make me come running right home to you.”
“What exactly are you waiting for? I need you in my arms Thea.”
Fuck….
I fucking dripped in my panties. I gulped hard and let out air slowly through my lips.
“I can’t wait to snuggle into your arms Angel. I miss you so bad.”
“Then come home.” He said and I turned to look at the girls.
“I can’t.” I said regrettably and heard him sigh in disappointment. “The girls are hungry and we decided to have lunch together.” I explained but he didn’t say anything. “My love….” I called.
“Take your time, I’ll be waiting at home for you.” He said and I nodded.
The girls and I headed for breakfast. It was really exciting driving through the city. The breath of fresh air, the buildings. It was so refreshing.
We had our lunch and were ready to leave.
As I went into the car, a call came in and I picked it up. It was Angel and I beamed a bright smile. He couldn’t wait to see me after all.
