Meanwhile, exclamations of shock echoed around, and faces were filled with astonishment.
Could it be true that someone as powerful as the Hall Lord of The Hallowed Court was killed by a young man in the late stage of the Returning Source Realm?!
Unbelievable, absolutely unbelievable!
Many felt a sense of relief, grateful they hadn’t acted against Billy earlier, or the outcome would have been disastrous.
“Billy, are you alright?” Harleen asked as she led the group over to Billy after he landed in the seating area.
“Don’t worry, I’m fine,” Billy replied with a faint smile.
“Well done!” Sanaa and Jennifer also approached.
“Thank you, Miss Sanaa,” Billy responded with a smile.
“Mr. Billy, we apologize for any offense caused earlier. Please forgive us,” Jordan Flynn said as he led his sect members forward, bowing deeply.
“Please forgive us, Mr. Billy,” echoed the other sect members as they bowed.
“It’s nothing,” Billy waved his hand dismissively.
“Mr. Billy, we need to return to our sects urgently. We bid you farewell for now and will visit to apologize properly next time,” Jordan Flynn said again.
“Farewell, Mr. Billy,” everyone else echoed.
Their sect members were still under the control of the Azure Guard, so they naturally wanted to return immediately.
“Going back now won’t help,” Sanaa said loudly.
“The Azure Guard are loyal warriors of The Hallowed Court. Without orders to withdraw, they will fight to the last man.”
“Trying to rescue them now would only lead to mutual destruction.”
“Thank you for the warning, Miss Sanaa, but we have no other choice…” one sect leader said.
“Wait a moment,” Sanaa interrupted him.
She raised her hand towards the sky, and a sword carrying a soul flew towards her.
“Miss Sanaa, spare me…” the soul pleaded weakly.
“You know how to make the Azure Guard withdraw from the sects, don’t you?” Sanaa asked.
“The Azure Guard… only follow orders from the Hall Lord and the High Priest… no one else can command them…” the soul responded.
Hearing this, the faces of the twenty-four sect members fell again.
Calvin Ponce was dead, and Alfonso Ponce had fled with the Nine Dragons Cauldron!
It seemed there was no choice but to fight!
“Can Alfonso Ponce command them?” Billy asked.
“Yes,” the soul nodded. “This operation by the Azure Guard was arranged by the High Priest!”
Before he finished speaking, Sanaa’s eyes narrowed slightly, and both the sword and the soul turned to nothingness.
“Miss Sanaa, we must take our leave now!” Jordan Flynn said again as he prepared to leave with his sect members.
“Wait!” Billy called out.
“Mr. Billy, is there something else?” Jordan Flynn asked, puzzled.
“I will bring Alfonso Ponce back,” Billy replied.
“What?” Most people turned to look at Billy in surprise.
Even Stout and Judge looked astonished.
“Boss, isn’t that a bit too much?” Stout muttered. “Didn’t Alfonso Ponce run off with the Nine Dragons Cauldron? How can you bring him back?”
“Shut up, Fatty!” White Feather glared at Stout.
“Mr. Billy, can you really bring Alfonso Ponce back here?” Jordan Flynn asked again in disbelief.
“Yes,” Billy nodded and then his eyes narrowed slightly.
Moments later, an astonishing scene unfolded before most people’s eyes.
A figure flashed from the horizon at an incredible speed.
It was none other than The Hallowed Court’s High Priest, Alfonso Ponce!
“Is it really him?” Recognizing Alfonso Ponce, many people exclaimed in disbelief.
“Hall Lord!” Alfonso Ponce cried out in anguish upon seeing Calvin Ponce and the bodies of other members of The Hallowed Court lying on the ground.
He then turned to Billy with a fierce expression and shouted, “Kid, why can the Nine Dragons Cauldron control my body? Is this your doing?!”
Hearing this, everyone turned to look at Billy again.
Could the Nine Dragons Cauldron really control Alfonso Ponce’s body? It seemed unbelievable!
However, recalling how confident Billy was about Alfonso Ponce returning, many began to believe it might be true!
“No way? Has Boss become so powerful that he can use the Nine Dragons Cauldron to control a Condensed Kun Realm expert’s body?” Stout muttered. “If that’s true, why didn’t he just give the Nine Dragons Cauldron to Calvin Ponce earlier and let him self-destruct?”
“Indeed,” Judge replied softly.
“You two don’t understand anything!” White Feather rolled her eyes at them.
“The person who controlled Alfonso Ponce’s body with the Nine Dragons Cauldron wasn’t Billy; it was Master!”
“Billy asked me to speak to Master about helping him deal with those Sacred Physiques people.”
“But Master said Billy couldn’t rely on him for everything and needed to learn to face challenges himself; otherwise, he would never gain the Nine Dragons Cauldron’s recognition.”
“However, Master agreed to help Billy with one small thing: temporarily removing their High Priest. The rest was up to Billy.”
“I see,” Stout and the others finally understood.
So it was that cool white-clad hero again?
“You deliberately gave me the Nine Dragons Cauldron to control my body. You never severed your connection with it, did you?” Alfonso Ponce continued shouting at Billy.
“You’re not stupid,” Billy shrugged in response.
As he spoke, the Nine Dragons Cauldron emerged from Alfonso Ponce’s body and transformed into a white light that re-entered Billy’s body.
“You are dead!” Alfonso Ponce roared in fury and attacked Billy. “For killing so many of my Hallowed Court members, I will grind your bones to dust!”
In his rage, he didn’t consider whether he could win or not!
Halfway through his charge, Sanaa intervened. A powerful mark struck Alfonso Ponce’s chest without resistance.
Caught off guard, Alfonso Ponce was sent flying like a shooting star for several kilometers before stopping. His bones and tendons were at least half broken, and blood poured from his mouth.
As he struggled to catch his breath, he saw countless cracks forming in the surrounding space.
A spatial cage enveloped him and began pressing against his body.
Alfonso Ponce’s pupils contracted in fear as he unleashed violent waves of energy at the cage.
But it was futile; the cage barely wavered before continuing to shrink faster and faster.
A look of extreme terror appeared on Alfonso Ponce’s face as he quickly formed a barrier around himself with his remaining power.
To his despair, the barrier dissolved instantly against the spatial cage.
In moments, the cage trapped Alfonso Ponce’s body, cutting deep wounds into him.
Even more terrifying was that he felt his soul being damaged along with his body.
He knew that if this cage passed through his body completely, he would be utterly destroyed!
“Miss Sanaa… spare me…” Desperate to survive, Alfonso Ponce lost all his previous bravado.
