“Let’s hear it,” Cedric raised an eyebrow.
“The United States and the Church teamed up to take down that Atrarian, but they were completely wiped out. Boris is here to seek your help.”
Cedric thought for a moment and said, “Bring him here.”
“Yes, sir.”
Soon, the young man brought Boris to the large stone.
“Honorable Cedric, greetings,” Boris said with respect.
“Mr. Boris, are you here to tell me that your joint operation was a success?” Cedric asked coolly.
Boris’s face turned red with embarrassment. “I’m afraid not. Our mission failed.”
Cedric sneered, “I told you last time that the Atrarian was formidable, but you didn’t believe me.”
Boris felt even more embarrassed and quickly said, “You were right. I underestimated him. This time, I’m here to ask for your help.”
“Do you think I will help you?” Cedric countered.
Boris replied directly, “Your undefeated honor was tarnished by that Atrarian.”
Hearing this, Cedric’s eyes suddenly widened, radiating a fierce light and a murderous aura.
Boris trembled inside and quickly added with a smile, “Please forgive my rudeness. I hope you will consider the long-term interests of both our nations.”
Cedric fell silent for a long time before speaking again, “Discuss the terms with the Queen.”
“So, you’re agreeing to fight?” Boris was overjoyed.
Cedric snorted coldly, his face full of pride and authority. “No one can desecrate my dignity! Now, you may leave.”
With a wave of his hand, Cedric turned and leaped into the lake.
A blinding light flashed under the water, causing a massive explosion that sent waves crashing towards the sky.
For a moment, under the setting sun, the waves surged like a tsunami, creating an astonishing scene.
Boris watched in shock with wide eyes!
In the Dark Underground City.
Leo lounged lazily on a sofa while two beautiful vampire women massaged him.
At that moment, a servant entered and respectfully said, “Master, the leaders of all clans have arrived and are waiting for your audience.”
“Let them in,” Leo nodded.
Soon, nearly thirty elite members of the dark clan appeared before Leo.
“The devoted citizens of the dark world greet you, Master,” they said in unison.
Leo smiled slightly, “Is everything ready?”
“Everything is prepared,” Elder Essex nodded.
“Then let’s proceed.”
The next day, in the garden of Cedric’s villa in Albion.
Under a blooming osmanthus tree, Cedric sat in meditation, his palms facing upward and touching each other as if connected to the universe.
A sudden breeze caused the osmanthus leaves to fall gently, filling the air with a subtle fragrance and creating a picturesque scene.
Cedric remained motionless like an old monk in deep meditation.
Cedric enjoyed meditating; it was a form of cultivation for both his mind and skills.
Suddenly, Cedric’s eyebrows twitched slightly.
At that moment, Knight Bergl hurriedly entered, breaking the serene harmony of the garden.
“My lord, something has happened,” Bergl said anxiously.
“What is it?” Cedric opened his eyes slightly, revealing two sharp glints.
“My lord, vile dark creatures have launched an attack on us. So far, we’ve suffered over three hundred casualties.”
Cedric, usually calm as water, was taken aback. “What!? What are these vile dark creatures trying to do?”
“My lord, do you think this means the Dark War is imminent?” Bergl asked uneasily.
“Possibly,” Cedric pondered.
“What should we do?” Perwal asked urgently.
“It’s time to completely eliminate these vile dark creatures,” Cedric’s eyes flashed with intense killing intent.
On a mountain in Albion’s capital.
Leo held a glass of red wine as he leisurely enjoyed the view.
Beside him stood thirteen vampire princes, nine wizard high priests, and seven orc chieftains.
Soon, beams of white, green, and red light shot from afar and descended on the mountaintop.
Eerie mist exploded on the ground as eighteen elite descendants of the dark world appeared before Leo.
“Master,” they greeted respectfully.
“Is the mission complete?” Leo asked calmly but authoritatively.
“Yes, Master. Additionally, we flew slowly enough for Cedric to catch up,” the leading marquis said with a flattering smile.
“Very good,” Leo nodded in satisfaction. “I will reward you.”
“Master, they’re here,” Elder Essex said sharply, pointing his staff into the distance.
Following Essex’s direction, they saw over twenty beams of holy white light speeding towards them.
As if sensing the unrestrained evil aura of the dark clan on the mountain, the white light rapidly descended and exploded into brilliant bursts of light on the mountaintop.
When the light faded, Cedric, knights from the Royal National Church Knights, and Anchorite appeared.
Seeing so many dark clan members and nearly all their leaders, Cedric’s heart sank.
Then Cedric saw Leo. “It’s you!”
“Cedric, long time no see,” Leo smiled.
Cedric said coldly, “I was planning to go to Atraria to fight you. Since you’re colluding with these vile dark creatures, I’ll send you all to hell together.”
Leo laughed. “Colluding is not quite accurate. Citizens of the dark world, who am I to you?”
“You are our new leader of the Dark Alliance and the greatest king of the dark world,” Elder Essex said respectfully.
“You are the Vampire King, the only king for centuries. We are willing to offer our lives and blood for you,” Prince Fred said proudly and respectfully.
Hearing this, Cedric and his knights looked incredulous.
“This world is insane! An Atrarian has become the leader of the Dark Alliance! God, are you testing me?” Cedric thought to himself.
Leo didn’t care what Cedric thought. He glanced at Anchorite and smiled. “It seems we have some unexpected guests today.”
“Master, they are Anchorite. The leader is named Ambrose,” Essex whispered to Leo.
“So it’s the famous Anchorite. You shouldn’t have come here because there’s no going back now,” Leo said regretfully.
Ambrose sneered coldly; his old face was resolute and devout. “Dying for our Lord is an honor. We are more than willing to cleanse you vile dark creatures for Him.”
Leo sneered back. “Then let’s settle this with strength.”
