Just as Prince Cody was treating Prince Lance, Bernard and Bertsch launched another attack.
Their Holy Cross Swords burst into radiant light, shooting beams into the sky and forming a brilliant curtain of light.
Then Bernard and Bertsch swung their Holy Swords simultaneously, sending a massive, dazzling beam of light slashing down towards Cody and Lance.
Prince Cody was alarmed and stopped the treatment, raising his Spirit Wand to shoot hundreds of fireballs.
Prince Lance, realizing it was a matter of life and death, raised his battle axe and shouted, “Thunder Strike!”
The dense fireballs collided fiercely with the Holy Light beam, exploding into countless brilliant fireworks in the air.
But the power of the Holy Light beam was too strong; the fireballs couldn’t stop its attack, only slightly weakening it.
Next, with a loud crash, a huge blood-red arc from Lance’s axe cleaved into the Holy Light beam.
The continuous shockwaves hit Prince Lance directly, causing blood to splatter and sounding like thunder.
Enduring the intense pain, Prince Lance swung his axe again, sending out another massive blood-red arc.
This strike seemed to tear the earth apart, sending huge waves of dirt flying high into the air.
This strike successfully dealt with Bernard and Bertsch.
Exhausted, Prince Lance fell from the sky in a trail of blood and lay motionless on the ground.
Prince Cody waved his Spirit Wand, channeling powerful healing energy into Prince Lance’s body.
Leo surveyed the scene. So far, everyone on their side was injured but no one had died.
On the other hand, the enemy had suffered heavy casualties. Except for Holle and Gordon, the other six were completely wiped out.
Leo called out for Prince Fred and others to retreat.
Prince Fred withdrew to Leo’s side, dejectedly saying, “Master, I didn’t win. I’ve disgraced the honor of vampires and the dark world. Please punish me.”
Leo waved his hand dismissively. “You all did your best and honored yourselves. The enemy was just too strong. Leave them to me; I’ll make them pay.”
Hearing Leo’s words, Holle and Gordon exchanged a serious glance.
Holle felt uneasy inside but sneered coldly. “What, you want to take us both on alone?”
“What do you think?” Leo replied arrogantly.
“Then let me see your strength,” Holle said, pointing to the sky as massive lightning surged up.
A huge thunderbolt descended from the sky, striking fiercely at Leo.
Gordon also unleashed a new move with all his might. Black light shot out wildly from his body, forming a massive black curtain in front of him.
The black curtain transformed into a surging wave of black light, rushing towards Leo like a reversed Milky Way.
The combined power of Holle and Gordon made the dark clan members’ faces change-they were incredibly strong.
Leo smiled coldly and summoned two talismans.
A fire dragon and a water dragon appeared in mid-air, charging towards the thunderbolt and the wave of black light respectively.
Three seconds later, a massive explosion shook the heavens and earth.
Leo clasped his hands together, forming a protective barrier with his spiritual energy.
Another three seconds later, a terrifying shockwave engulfed Leo, Holle, and Gordon.
A minute later, the dust settled.
Holle and Gordon were still standing but clearly heavily injured and at their limits.
In contrast, Leo seemed virtually unscathed.
“You two are no match for me,” Leo said arrogantly, shaking his finger.
“Damn it! Today we fight to the death!” Holle roared with bloodshot eyes. His massive body shot up into the sky like lightning and plunged into a storm cloud.
Immediately, a series of massive thunderclaps exploded in the sky, followed by hundreds of thunderbolts crashing down.
Leo summoned his Purple Radiance Dagger.
A purple light shot up like a comet.
In an instant, the purple light broke through the thunderbolts and pierced into the storm cloud.
The thunderbolts aimed at Leo suddenly dissipated, along with the storm cloud vanishing without a trace.
A figure fell from the sky with a heavy thud.
Poor Holle had stopped breathing.
Seeing Holle killed before his eyes, Gordon’s face was filled with horror.
Leo pointed arrogantly at Gordon. “You’re next.”
After his initial shock, Gordon’s face turned fierce as he decided to go all out. “You want to kill me? In your dreams!”
Gordon suddenly leaped into the air, smashing his fists together.
Instantly, a vast expanse of black light erupted from Gordon’s body, rapidly spreading in all directions like an overwhelming tide.
In just a blink of an eye, Leo found himself in a completely dark world with no light at all.
This absolute darkness was also silent; Leo could even hear his own heartbeat clearly.
Leo flipped his right hand and summoned a Fireball Talisman.
The intense flames illuminated everything within hundreds of steps around him as bright as day.
To Leo’s surprise, beyond those hundreds of steps was still endless darkness without a hint of light.
As for Gordon, there wasn’t even a shadow in sight.
It seemed like a strange barrier. Leo extended his spiritual sense in all directions into the endless darkness.
Strangely enough, even at its limit, Leo’s powerful spiritual sense couldn’t detect the end of this dark world.
Moreover, within the range of his spiritual sense, there wasn’t any sign of life-only endless deathly stillness as if it were a ghostly realm devoid of human presence!
Leo’s eyes narrowed as he sneered coldly. “Gordon, do you think it’s fun hiding like a turtle?”
A strange laugh echoed in the boundless darkness. “What? The mighty leader of the Dark Alliance can’t see through this little bit of darkness?”
Leo roared angrily. “If you’re a man, come out and fight fair!”
Gordon laughed sinisterly. “This is my world. I am darkness; darkness is me. I am everywhere! Since you can’t find me, how can you defeat me?”
Leo suddenly extended his right arm and shot a huge fireball into the darkness on his right side.
It seemed Gordon’s voice had come from that direction.
The huge fireball tore through the thick eerie darkness, getting farther away until its light dimmed and disappeared behind the mysterious dark curtain.
Clearly, not only did the fireball miss Gordon, it didn’t even hit a ghostly shadow.
Gordon’s eerie laughter rang out again. “I told you-darkness is me; I am darkness. I am everywhere. How can you hit me?”
“I’ll show you what happens when you anger me!” Leo gritted his teeth. “Since you won’t come out, I’ll shatter your darkness!”
Summoning a Skyfire Talisman, Leo erupted in flames that soared dozens of feet high. The dark barrier was suddenly filled with blazing fire like a scorching furnace.
