MEL POV
After the incredible sex we had, Leo cleaned me up and I hopped into the shower with him.
We didn’t fuck in the bathroom, he just offered to clean me.
I changed into one of the hotel robes and he changed into a black shirt and grey
sweatpants which showed everything in all the right places.
I also received about twenty missed calls from Mom and Dad even missed calls from Charlotte but I didn’t have the heart to call them back.
“Talk to me babe,” He said softly.
when he noticed me picking at my nails
nervously.
“My Dad knows I’m a stripper and that’s not even the worst part” I sniffed starting to cry.
“What’s the worst part” He asked then took my hand.
“After I left your house I took a pregnancy test, It was negative but my Dad found it and he knows that I’m sleeping with someone” I sighed.
“I thought you were on birth control pills?” He questioned.
I didn’t want to tell him that I forgot to take the pill for the past week.
I knew he would be mad and I may even be pregnant right now but then I would be stuck in an even worse situation.
if I am Pregnant for my Dads boss who is married and is over Twenty years older than me.
Yeah, that’s not gonna go down well.
“I… I forgot to take it” I said putting my hand on my head disappointed with myself.
“I can’t get pregnant Leo” I sobbed.
“If I’m pregnant I’ll ruin your life” I sobbed.
His arm swung over my shoulder pulling me in for a hug.
“You aren’t going to ruin my life if you are pregnant, do you understand”
He said wrapping his hands around my wrists and pulling them from my head.
“Look at me,” He says.
I did just that.
“Fuck my business, fuck your parents, and fuck Nicole,” He says.
“If it makes you happier I’m getting a divorce,” he said.
My head shoots up, my eyebrows furrow in a confused look.
Was he going to risk his business to marry me?
“No Leo,” I said.
“I can’t let you risk your business you worked so hard for.
I’m not letting all that go to waste and I might not even be pregnant” I protest.
“Next week, you will take another test
okay?
If you are pregnant I’ll get a divorce and if you aren’t pregnant I will still get a divorce anyway” He says.
“No I-” I said but before I could continue he pressed his lips to mine.
“Yes,” He says against my lips, I want you and nobody else”
” Besides you have to dance for me every night,” He said smirking.
I giggle wiping away the rest of my tears, he lays down on the bed and I lay beside him “Goodnight baby” He whispers then pecks my cheek.
“Goodnight Leo”
The next morning I woke up by Leo snoring.
I looked at him, he slept like he hadn’t slept in days.
I carefully got out of bed trying not to wake him up and changed out of my robe then put on the clothes I had on yesterday.
Yes, it was unhygienic but I had no other option.
“Good morning” Leo groaned turning over to look at me.
His messy hair was always a pleasure in the morning and his disheveled beard made him look as handsome as ever.
I went and sat beside where he was lying and he pulled me in for a hug dragging me onto the bed to lay next to him.
“I’ll talk to Nicole about the divorce today” He murmured in my ear then placed a kiss on my cheek.
“Are you sure you want to do this Leo?
You worked so hard for your business and to waste it on a girl you hardly kn-”
“Stop with that bullshit Melanie, I wanted to get a divorce for a long time, I just never had a reason to” He spoke
“Now I have a reason” He pulled me in for a kiss and I tried to escape from his hold but he only held me tighter.
“I’m never letting you go,” He said, and I chuckled.
We lay in each other’s arms for about twenty minutes before I finally escaped from him.
I could have stayed in that position all day but I needed to sort things out with my parents.
“I need to go talk to my Mom and Dad,” I said.
“I’ll drive you,” He said.
“I probably need to get dressed first though” He smirked groaning as he got up from the bed.
He got changed into the clothes he had on yesterday just like me and we cleaned up the hotel room before we left.
As Leo was driving I felt panicked considering I was about to face my parents after what happened last night.
What I did was reasonable.
My Dad had no right to go through my things and he also had no right to comment on my job since it was none of his business.
I would probably move out after this, I do have enough money to get my place anyway plus Charlotte can come with me.
“You’ll be fine” Leo assures.
Breaking me from my deep thoughts and in no time he parks outside my house.
“I hope so,” I say my voice almost breaking.
“Call me if you need to, I’ll be right here for you always,” He says and I smile.
It’s nice to know he had a change of heart.
He’s getting a divorce and risking his business all for me.
I was so sure about us and so sure that we would get through anything.
I open the car door and just before shutting it I smile at him, and he smiles back.
Which sets my heart pounding in my chest then I shut the car door.
He droves off soon after and I mentally prepare myself for what is about to happen when I walk through the door.
“Hello?” I called out wondering if anyone was home and then closing the door behind me.
“Jesus Christ where the hell were you, Melanie!?” My dad exclaims walking towards me, the look on his face shows me that he was not happy.
Not that I care.
“I went to Charlotte’s house since you can’t accept what your daughter does for a living” I spat.
“Really? Because Charlotte called us asking why you weren’t returning her calls?!”
