It was dinner time and the restaurant were full. There were no more empty seats.
Rosiley and Ying Xiaoxiao walked into the restaurant and a waitress immediately welcomed them. She wore an apologetic smile on her face. “I’m sorry, there are no more seats indoors. Please wait in the seats outside.”
“I’m not here to eat, I’m here to find someone.” Ying Xiaoxiao scanned the restaurant and continued to ask, “Is there a guest by the name of Corey?”
“Corey?” The waiter frowned and thought for a while. Then, she smiled and nodded. “Yes, please follow me.”
Rosiley and Ying Xiaoxiao followed the waitress and walked towards the back of the restaurant.
Corey and the rest were at a window seat in the corner. Rosiley quickly spotted Corey, as well as… Sachin and that woman, who were sitting opposite him.
They were talking about something that made Corey laugh heartily. That woman was smiling too, and she leaned towards Sachin, who was sitting beside her and leaning her head on his shoulder.
Sachin did not push her away.
Rosiley’s pupils shrunk instantly, and her face fell slightly. She locked her gaze on the two figures that were sticking together.
Seeing Corey laughing heartlessly, Ying Xiaoxiao frowned slightly. She stretched out her hand and stopped the waitress.
The waitress turned around, looking at her in confusion.
“We found them; we can go there ourselves. Thank you.”
The waitress gave them a small nod. “Enjoy your meal.” Then, she walked away.
Right after that, Ying Xiaoxiao pulled Rosiley’s hand and strode towards the table.
“You’ve had a bad sense of direction ever since you were young, but I didn’t expect you to still be the same when you grew up! Indeed, your body has grown, but your brain hasn’t.”
Corey looked at Ying Xiaoxiao with smiling eyes. The words that came out of his mouth were the epitome of how malicious his tongue could be.
Slightly annoyed, Ying Xiaoxiao picked up the napkin on the table and threw it at him. “Yours is the brain that hasn’t developed!”
Seeing how angry she was, Corey smiled even brighter.
Ying Xiaoxiao pouted her lips angrily. Then, she stretched out her hands and wrapped them around Sachin’s arms and leaned her head on his shoulder. She whined pitifully, “Brother Sachin is the best! He doesn’t talk much, and he is also very handsome.”
“You’re saying that I’m not handsome?” Corey raised his brows.
Ying Xiaoxiao grunted annoyedly. She turned her head and glared at him from the side. Disdainfully, she said, “Your tongue is so malicious, you’re not handsome at all!”
Hearing this, Corey grabbed his chest and whined, “My heart hurts! I’m so heartbroken!”
Ying Xiaoxiao could not help chuckling. She covered her mouth and smiled very grumpily.
Corey smiled too.
At this moment, a cold, sharp voice suddenly rang out. “Corey, you’re smiling quite happily.”
Corey and Ying Xiaoxiao turned their heads at the same time.
Ying Xiaoxiao’s arms were crossed, and she looked at them with a cold gaze. A sinister smirk was hanging from the corners of her lips.
“sister-in-law!” Corey exclaimed in surprised when he saw Rosiley standing behind Ying Xiaoxiao.
Sachin had been sitting there silently without involving himself in Corey and Ying Xiaoxiao’s conversation. Hearing this, he slowly turned his head and found himself looking into Rosiley’s cold gaze. It had no warmth.
He was not sure if he had sensed wrongly, but he felt like she was mad.
When Corey called out ‘sister-in-law,’ Ying Xiaoxiao thought that he was referring to Ying Xiaoxiao. She quickly stood up, walked towards Ying Xiaoxiao, and studied every inch of her face with her big, beautiful eyes.
