“Yayoi.” Han Yichen stood in Yayoi’s way.
Yayoi cast a cold glance at his face and scoffed. “Han Yichen, do you think it’s fun to play this game with me?”
“No, Yayoi, I’m not playing games with you.” Han Yichen looked very anxious. “I really can’t forget you. I really love you, and I would like to earn your love again!”
“Really?” Yayoi raised her eyebrows. “Then why won’t you tell Yang Qianqian?”
“That’s… that’s because she is pregnant!”
“Pregnant?” Yayoi sneered, and the look in her eyes became colder. “If she is pregnant, then you should spend your life with her. Don’t bother me again.”
After saying that, she did not take another look at him. Instead, she walked past him toward the building without even looking back.
Han Yichen stood where he was, and his face slowly became gloomier. He clenched his fists tightly and viciousness was in his eyes.
For Yayoi, he would never give up.
…
What an annoying situation!
First, she had bumped into Eduard Xiang, and then it was Han Yichen. Were these two men trying to make her life impossible?
As soon as she got home, Yayoi seemed to have been drained of her strength. She threw herself on the couch.
She felt like closing her eyes and taking a nap, but as soon as she closed her eyes, she could see Eduard Xiang’s face in her mind. It made her restless.
She got up from the couch, sat cross-legged, and leaned her head on the couch.
“Yayoi, would you believe me if I said I had my reasons?”
Eduard Xiang’s words still lingered.
She chuckled and mumbled to herself, “I believe you. Why wouldn’t I believe you?”
What kind of reasons would make him avoid contact with her for so many years? He never contacted her parents, either. It was like he had vanished from the face of the earth.
When they finally met again, he denied he was ever Luo Qingyu, and he had treated her as if she was a complete stranger.
Her heart had been broken over him for so long, but now that he had finally admitted it, she no longer cared!
Nevertheless, she heaved a long sigh of relief and could not help but curl her lips into a smile. Her Brother Qingyu was finally back.
…
When she was about to get off work, Rosiley received a text from Corey.
It read, “sister-in-law, your enemy showed up!”
At the word “enemy”, Rosiley frowned and felt a little perplexed.
So she replied, “What enemy?”
Soon, Corey texted again.
“It’s the blind date my old man has arranged for Big Brother.”
Rosiley’s eyes narrowed slightly. So that was what he meant by, “enemy.”
However, Sachin had not told her that his father had arranged a blind date for him. Was Corey deliberately leaking the news to her?
She called Corey and asked about the situation before driving to Thunderbolt Entertainment after work.
Corey told her that the girl worked at Sachin’s company.
When she had arrived at Thunderbolt Entertainment, and had parked by the company entrance, she caught sight of a man and a woman walking out of the Thunderbolt building through her windshield.
A handsome man and a pretty woman, they made a great couple.
She squinted her eyes, and her grip tightened on the steering wheel. An icy look rose in her eyes.
Without getting out of the car, she glared at the pair.
She was too far away to see their faces.
