Twenty minutes later, Tony glanced at his siblings and asked, “So, what do you both think about the plan?”
After listening to his detailed strategy, Ben and Donna exchanged thoughtful glances. “Your plan seems solid, but does Daddy know about it?” Ben inquired, a hint of concern in his voice.
Tony picked up the cup of water in front of him, took a sip, and shook his head subtly. “So, you’re planning to keep this from Daddy, aren’t you?” Ben probed further, sensing Tony’s hesitation.
“I’m not hiding it from him. It’s just that he’s against using Darknetz’s resources,” Tony explained, his tone serious. “But we can’t take down the Midnight Fang Pack on our own. This is the only viable option I can think of.”
“That makes sense,” Ben conceded after considering Tony’s explanation. “Just let me know if you two are set on going through with this,” he added, his expression resolute.
“Let’s do it!” Donna exclaimed, slapping the table with enthusiasm before Ben could voice his thoughts. The two boys stared at her in surprise, taken aback by her sudden outburst.
“Look at how they’ve bullied Nelly! We have to make this happen!” she insisted, her eyes blazing with determination. Amused by the fierceness of their sister’s reaction, the boys couldn’t help but burst into laughter.
However, the laughter quickly faded as Donna’s expression turned serious, a trace of anger mingling with her concern. “What are you guys laughing at? I’m serious! Until now, I only knew Nelly came here searching for the truth. I had no idea this place was so dangerous, let alone what she has endured,” she said, a flicker of guilt and sadness crossing her features.
The boys exchanged glances, understanding her feelings but also wanting to reassure her. “Well, that’s all in the past now. We shouldn’t dwell on those memories right now,” Ben said gently.
“That’s why I want to be part of this,” Donna stated firmly, her gaze unwavering as she looked at her brothers.
“Donna, if you’re not going to receive any training from Darknetz, I really think you should stay out of this,” Tony warned, his brow furrowing with concern.
“Why not?” she asked, puzzled by his caution.
“It’s for your own future,” he replied solemnly, emphasizing the importance of her safety.
Ben quickly chimed in, “Yeah, try to avoid getting involved if you can. We’ll handle this and make sure Nelly gets the revenge she deserves.”
Donna thought for a moment, her expression contemplative. “Even if I only play a small part in this, I still want to be involved. If I don’t, I won’t be able to rest easy knowing I didn’t try,” she insisted, her determination clear.
The boys exchanged knowing looks, realizing that once their sister set her mind to something, there was little chance of changing it.
“Okay, then,” Tony finally said, his tone softening. “Just remember, no matter what happens, the most important thing is to protect yourself.”
“I promise,” Donna nodded firmly. “We’re doing this for revenge, not to put ourselves in danger or upset Nelly.”
“Exactly,” Ben agreed, feeling reassured by her words.
Suddenly, Tony’s expression changed. He looked at his siblings, a slight smirk forming at the corners of his lips. “Before we go through with the plan, there’s one more person I need to deal with.”
Ben and Donna leaned in, intrigued. “What do you mean?” they asked in unison.
“Ben, Miguel mentioned that Alpha Dave has an armory here. I know you’ve always wanted to check it out, right? I think we can convince Daddy and Alpha Dave to take you there for a look,” Tony suggested, his eyes glinting with mischief.
Ben’s interest was piqued, but he sensed there was more to this than just a casual visit. “Just spill it, Tony. What’s really on your mind?” he pressed, eager to understand his brother’s intentions.
“Help me keep Daddy and Alpha Dave occupied tomorrow,” Tony said, his tone serious. “It’s important for our plan.”
“Got it,” Ben replied, a smile creeping onto his face at the prospect of the armory visit.
“What about me?” Donna chimed in, feeling slightly left out.
“Your task is to keep Nelly company and see if you can persuade her to draw a topographic map of the Midnight Fang Pack’s territory,” Tony explained.
Donna frowned at this suggestion. “I guess mine is the hardest task, huh? You’re just throwing me into the deep end!”
“You can handle it,” Tony said confidently, offering her a reassuring smile.
“Okay, then,” she replied, pursing her lips but feeling somewhat comforted.
As soon as her words were out, Tony’s expression shifted slightly, a gleam of determination in his eyes. The plan was just beginning to take shape! The following day, the three siblings arrived at the hidden room, each filled with a sense of purpose.
As soon as Tony stepped inside, Miguel noticed him and immediately rose from his seat. “Master, you’ve arrived!” he exclaimed, his tone respectful.
Miguel never underestimated Tony simply because he was a child. In fact, he held a deep admiration for the young boy, convinced of his genius and capabilities at such a tender age.
Without a word, Tony walked over and took a seat, his demeanor calm and collected.
Seeing this, Miguel quickly grabbed a lollipop from the side, unwrapped it, and offered it to him with a bright smile.
After a quick glance, Tony accepted the lollipop and popped it into his mouth, savoring the sweetness.
Donna, who had followed closely behind Tony, couldn’t help but feel puzzled by the scene. She turned to Ben, her brow furrowed in confusion. “When did Tony start taking on disciples?” she whispered.
Ben simply raised an eyebrow, remaining silent as he observed the interaction.
“Did he reveal his true identity?” Donna asked, her curiosity piqued.
“I’m not sure,” Ben replied, his gaze fixed ahead, still pondering the unfolding situation.
At that moment, Miguel was standing behind Tony, gently massaging his shoulders and back. “Relax, Master. We need to make sure we succeed today,” he encouraged.
Tony, focused on the computer in front of him, replied in a low voice, “Stop the flattery and just sit down and watch.” Miguel recognized this as a lesson from Tony and nodded, taking a stool beside him.
Ben and Donna approached Tony at that point. “We’ll head out first,” Ben said, nodding at his brother.
“Stay in touch with me at all times,” Tony instructed, his tone serious.
Ben and Donna nodded in agreement and headed away. Once Donna was out of earshot, Miguel turned to Tony with a curious grin. “Who’s that little girl? She’s really pretty!”
“That’s my younger sister,” Tony replied, a hint of pride in his voice.
Miguel was taken aback. “You mean your biological sister?” he asked, surprised.
“What else would it be?” Tony retorted, raising an eyebrow.
“I didn’t mean anything by it. It’s just that you two don’t look alike,” Miguel said after a brief pause.
“Well, she’s inherited all the best traits from Daddy and my mom,” Tony explained, his tone calm and matter-of-fact.
Miguel nodded thoughtfully, considering the resemblance. “Now that I think about it, she does have a bit of Alpha Kilian’s features…”
Tony didn’t respond, his attention focused on the monitor as he began typing furiously on the keyboard, the plan unfolding before him.
