“We are here, ma’am.” The driver had announced to Grace when they had gotten to the Pure Heaven eatery.
“Okay!” Grace said to him, smiling as she arranged herself to get down from the car already.
The happiness written all over her face was really so obvious; seeing Cassandra was a thought; it was a very big blessing to her.
Grace walked into the very huge and well decorated eatery, with very well-model facilities and the light from the chandelier glittering, making everything inside of the eatery look like the name it was given, ‘Pure Heaven.” The eatery was really heaven. It was a beautiful and well-clean environment.
She could see eyes on her skin immediately the security in charge of opening the glass door had done for her.
She couldn’t fathom while she had gotten the attention of almost everyone at first-was she this beautiful, huh?
Looking around, one could tell it is not an eatery for just anybody; it is a classic eatery for men with high class and not the poor masses.
She used her eyes in searching for Cassandra. Cassandra had already texted her when she was still on her way that she was already at the eatery and was in a particular spot.
Cassandra had told Grace the particular table she was at.
“Damn! What the fuck? Why are they all staring at me?” Grace couldn’t help but ask herself in her brain.
She always forgot she was the wife of the wealthiest Alpha, Alpha Nelson, in town. She had no idea some were taking pictures of her; that was the life of a celebrity, a well-known person.
“Finally!” Grace wanted to shout this, but she said it in her head in a very squealing manner.
A smile creeped in her lips as her eyes locked with those of Cassandra, who was sitting on the opposite side, on the left-hand side, when you entered the eatery.
She has finally found where Cassandra was sitting, and Cassandra had also seen Grace as she walked towards the table where she sat.
They were both smiling at each other, and just as Grace approached closer to the table, Cassandra sprinted up from her seat and went to hug Grace. The excitement in both of them knew no bounds, but they tried to maintain decorum to attract attention and focus from people around.
It was already 5:00 PM, and the eatery was getting so filled up with people who came in with their family, relatives, and loved ones.
“Nice to meet you again, sweetheart. It’s been a long time.” Cassandra said, still hugging Grace.
“Not nice meeting you, Cassy!” Grace said playfully as they walked to take their seats.
“After waiting for you for so long? Aren’t they supposed to apologize for that?” Cassandra also teased Grace. They had been friends since they were kids and had this same kind of positive energy.
However, almost eight years have passed since Cassandra and her family relocated, and due to some certain things, they lost contact.
“I am so sorry, your highness Cassy!” Grace said and bowed her head to Cassandra.
“I forgive you; don’t let it repeat itself again! Never again!” Cassandra warned, though she was being playful. She was a playful and calm type, despite the amount of money her parents have.
“Okay, your highness! Thank you so much. Grace said and raised up her head, and just then they started laughing so hard.
Cassandra signaled one of the salesgirls that wore a very unique uniform, and it was very obvious she was a worker; all other people like her were also dressed in the same uniform too.
“Hello, miss, you are welcome to our eatery. What can I offer you?” The lady asked Cassandra very calmly and politely.
“Please get us the other book.” Cassandra said, copying her calm demeanor.
“So sorry, Miss, I will go get it now.” The lady said and hurried and was about to hurry out.
“Can we just have some chill fruit juice to cool off for the moment? While you go get the booklet?” Cassandra said to the beautiful, slim, and tall salesgirl, with her very ocean blue eyes.
“Okay ma! I will let one of the men bring it to you.” The lady said she bowed and was heading out.
“How have you been, Grace?” Cassandra asked Grace.
This was Cassandra starting up a conversation with Grace; she really wanted to know how she had been.
“I have not been well, Cassy; I have been coping and trying to make life go back to normal.” Grace said to Cassandra.
Cassandra was shocked at how Grace was sounding, and just then Grace started narrating to Cassandra what they have been going on with life, till the very moment they sat there.
Cassandra was really so annoyed; she couldn’t believe she was passing through all of this in the hands of men.
They were still discussing when a male worker in the eatery brought them some chill fruit juice and glass cups.
“You order, ma’am.” The man said as he placed the content on the tray he had brought with him to their table.
“Thanks for this!” Cassandra said and reached out to pour the fruit juice for both her and Grace.
“So sorry, love. I lost contact with you; I had no chance to come around; I was in school, busy with masters and all of the shit.” Cassandra explained to Grace.
Grace really understood, and schooling in a very high and good institution was the major reason her parents had relocated to another country.
“All this shit won’t be going on, not when I am back! I have come to stay, and I will help you fight all those ladies, and I will make sure that man you sign a deal with would have to do as it says till it expires, and then we would both leave with your families to Australia.” Cassandra said to Grace and tried to make her calm.
Meanwhile, on the other hand, Victor was also in the same restaurant as Grace. He had come down from work and had told Cindy the time she was supposed to have come, but when he reached and even due to the fact he rushed and was thinking he was late, he was surprised to see she was not yet in the eatery and her little lines were off.
He was really worried; though he decided to be patient, he didn’t even call his workers to know if she was okay or not.
He was still waiting for her to come into the restaurant when his eyes met that of a very pretty and beautiful lady walking in sophistication into the eatery.
Not that he had not seen anyone beautiful, but her own kind of beauty made him want to go crazy.
Though he had not really seen her face very, the lady was really so beautiful that he had to use his eyes to trace the exact position the gal would sit, having no thought it was Grace. Maybe he didn’t get to have the thought she was going to be here and that is why.
“Wow! Wow! Wow!” Guess who will be here!” Victor said, and just immediately Grace flipped her head in the direction the familiar husky voice had come from.
“It’s him, Victor.” Grace said to Cassandra.
She had told her about everyone and everybody in her life, both the helpful once and also the enemies.
Cassandra was very quick to know it was the Victor Grace had talked about early, and that alone made her feel angry and irritated.
“What the hell? Why the fuck are you disturbing our table, and who the hell are you?” Cassandra was already so mean.
She couldn’t even fathom the reason why a very handsome and we’ll blessed man will do all that Grace had said, and she couldn’t lie, he was handsome.
“Hello cutie! Nice to meet you.” Victor said and extended his hands for her to shake them.
“Are you kidding me? It is not nice meeting you, sir. Who the hell are you using Cutie for?” Cassandra was beginning to sneer at Victor.
“Victor! Please leave here!” Grace said to Victor Calmly, but the hatred in her voice could be sensed.
She was once in love with the asshole so much, but not anymore; she really didn’t even give a fuck and him.
Victor was still adamant; he just stood and was staring at the two ladies as though his eyes were glued to them.
“I said leave!” Grace yelled when she knew Victor didn’t want to.
“Try and get back to your husband’s house.” Victor said mockingly and was laughing sheepishly. “I guess this was the same man you were using for fame, huh? Why have you left him now? This is to say no man can ever love you, sweetie; come toe and be my sex toy! If only you could even fit! Excuse me!” Victor said, and before Cassandra could hit him, Grace was sure she held her, and he was gone into thin air.
“Sex toy!” This word alone made Grace’s head want to explode.
“Did you hear that?” Cassandra asked Grace; she was really not surprised that Grace was stopping her from reacting; Grace has always been naive. But was she still a naive lady?
“Come pick me up at the very western road of the city, close to the lonely bridge. You have ten minutes to do that; if not, I would be shot!” Immediately Victor had left the two ladies; this was the text he received from Cindy.
“What!” He gasped. He was starting to realize how stupid he was for not even trying to know her whereabouts, even after she had not picked up countless of his calls.
“They can’t just kill her; I am using her for something that would benefit me in the future.” This was what Victor kept saying in his heart as he drove speedily.
Read and find out what happens next. What had Cindy done that would warrant them wanting to shoot her? Do you think Victor really loves Cindy?
