Book:A NIGHTSTAND WITH THE BILLIONAIRE ALPHA Published:2024-11-9

“What the hell is that bitch up to this time around? What the hell is wrong with this lady, and why does she always behave mad?” Grace mumbled to herself as the driver drove on the car.

Grace was really not so cool with Sophia but she just had to let her stay in the mansion, there was nothing serious she could do about it.

Even if she could do something about it, she was really not interested in matters concerning Alpha Nelson and Sophia; she really didn’t know why she was rushing home to know what was happening. She was just being nice.

A few minutes later, she arrived at Alpha Nelson’s mansion; she had in mind to see a crazy woman and things she had damaged when she got home.

She had no idea. Alpha Nelson was calling her for something else.

“Good evening, madam!” A lady who was dressed so uniquely is one of the estate maids. She was smiling so widely as she greeted Grace.

Grace couldn’t really sense any tension in the air; the environment was calm and noiseless.

She checked around the estate car lots and found out that all cars were there, except for one car, and that was Sophia’s car.

“Is Sophia at home? I mean the lady?” Grave asked the maid that had greeted her a few minutes ago and was walking to the mansion with her bag in her hands.

“No ma.” The maid said and tried to increase her walking pace.

Grace couldn’t fathom what was going on, but it seems as though something was amiss to her. Alpha Nelson had just told her to drive home, saying that Sophia had started displaying, and now the Sophia he had claimed to be displaying was not even at home yet.

Grace strolled into the main building of the estate, her heart still pondering what was going on and what the reason was that Alpha Nelson had called her earlier, while she was having a good time with her family.

Booom!

Immediately the door flung open, and she was shocked at who she saw on the floor kneeling with a flower in his hands.

The sitting room was decorated with a lot of balloons and other materials as though Alpha Nelson was going to propose to someone to be his wife.

‘Forgive my lovely wife.’ Something sort of balloon- type was used to give this write-up.

Grace’s mouth opened agape, her eyes widened, and her heart was pounding so fast already that she could hear it beat. She was sweating under her palm, and a lump was forming on her throat.

She couldn’t even say something meaningful, not even a stammer; she was shut off her words as she looked at the beautiful decorations then to Alpha Nelson; she really had no idea they were having a great celebration today.

“Please forgive me, my lovely wife!” She was really still startled and shocked at the same time by what she had seen, and Alpha Nelson said this to her.

This made her more shocked than she was earlier, and just then she found her voice, which had been lost for a few minutes now.

“I don’t understand what is going on here, Nelson!” Grace countered her eyes, still fixating on the caption. “Please forgive me, my lovely wife.”

“Please accept the flower firstly; we have other things we need to talk about. I have realized my mistake, and now I am ready to make an amendment for it.” Alpha Nelson was the one speaking; the aura he used in talking was making Grace feel a little bit touched.

Because she was planning to yell at him and walk into her room, she was really not in the mood for all this mess up.

“You called me earlier! Sorry if I might be sounding a little harsh, but was this the reason for that phone call?” Grace asked, trying not to maintain eye contact with Alpha Nelson.

She knew she would really fall for it, and she didn’t want to, not at this moment; she had promised herself not to have anything to do with him already.

“Yes, this is the reason. For a better reunion as a couple.. I am so sorry I had to lie about it.” Alpha Nelson said, still on his knees.

And Grace couldn’t help but wonder, Where was his pride? She knew how proud Alpha Nelson could be, even to her too. So it was really a shock to her somehow.

“I was having a good time with my family, and you called me home for this? This trash? Like I don’t really understand? What the heck is this?” Grace said the anger in her was boiling so rapidly.

“I didn’t mean to; I just wanted to surprise you and apologize for not being a good husband all this while.” Alpha Nelson was still on his knees, trying to make her see reasons with him, but Grace was not in for it at all.

“Being a good husband?” Grace said, and for some reasons best known to get, she was laughing very seriously.

“You can never be one, no matter how hard you try, Nelson! Sorry to say you lack all the characteristics that you know.” Grace said she was mocking him now.

A man that couldn’t make a decision by himself and sometimes used his parents to give silly excuses.

“Please, let’s save our marriage, Grace.” Alpha Nelson pleaded. He really loves Grace; he couldn’t lie to himself, and he doesn’t want to lose her, but sometimes life can be really tempting and very tough.

“A man that has no mouth over a woman in his house? Tell me the reason you can’t chase her away. Is it because you love her? Or you just love the fact she gets on my nerves every now and then?” Grace was beginning to pour out all her frustration on him.

“Please, let’s just get back together as we used to be.” Alpha Nelson said, and now he was on his feet already and was using pleading eyes to look at Grace.

“Together, you say? Ready lips.” Grace said, pointing, get hands at her lips so she could say something to him.

Alpha Nelson had to obey her and looked at her lips; their eyes locked together, and Grace made this statement.

“There is no way we would ever go back as before; besides, it is not a forever deal, and I can’t love a man as you! Damn Impossible!” Grace scoffed, and this made Alpha Nelson get furious.

He was really tired of how Grace was playing so hard to get and was just making everything so hard.

“Don’t speak to me in such a manner; I am trying to get things fixed, and you are acting so pompous.” Alpha Nelson voiced, the anger in his tony palpable.

“And who the hell told you I want everything to be fixed or amended?” Grace asked him with questionable eyes.

“So you don’t love the fact that I am doing everything to save our marriage?” Alpha Nelson asked, looking straight into her eyes.

Grace reciprocated what he was doing; it was high time she made it clear that she was just waiting for the deal to expire so she could live her life.

“I am pretty sure you aren’t taking this far! All this is a deal, and when it is done, we go our separate ways while you marry the crazy wife your parents had chosen for you.” Grace said, even as she said this, she was really not happy that she wouldn’t end up with Alpha Nelson, but she tried her best not to show it.

She was really sure; she had some kind of feeling that she couldn’t just deny she doesn’t.

“And who the hell is this slut calling a crazy woman?” Grace and Alpha Nelson were shocked to hear when Sophia had said this, and immediately they drifted their heads to the entrance door to Sophia, who was furiously entering the sitting room.

Read and find out what happens next and how Alpha Nelson and Grace solved everything.
