“Don’t you dare lay your filthy hands on my wife! Don’t try that!” This was a very powerful aura and growl that made everyone quiet, and then there was a swift turn to the direction of the voice.
Grace and Sophia’s eyes, we’re now on Alpha Nelson, who was really looking so angry at the bouncers, and Sophia, who was sitting partially on the car’s back seat.
“What the hell is going on here?” Alpha Nelson growled, his eyes roaming at everyone present there.
“Your so-called wife is the hell going on here!” Sophia scoffed, checking her watch; she was really running very late.
“That is not my question, woman! What are these people doing in my mansion?” Alpha Nelson asked; he was referring to the bouncers.
Now Sophia jumped out of the car and was now about to face Alpha Nelson.
“I don’t understand what you are saying; which person are you referring to?” Sophia asked, playing dumb.
Grave, who was not ready to eat their drama unfold even though she would love to, but she had to go see her younger brother so she could be back in time.
She signaled the driver to come take her out of the place as she slid into the car and shut it before Sophia could even think of her next move.
Before you knew it, the driver had skillfully maneuvered the car and was driving to the gate so he could zoom out of the compound.
Grace knew Alpha Nelson was trying to make them more close as they used to be when they first started with the marriage deal, but she wasn’t really interested in all that bullshit, not at all.
Sophia and Alpha Nelson were still having an argument.
“I don’t need these people here! Please, they won’t stay in my house! I won’t say this again! You can take them to my parents house; just two days for them to stay here! Just two days!” With this last statement, Alpha Nelson walked out of Sophia, not letting her say anything.
Sophia, who was also not in the mood for any argument, really didn’t bother to fuel it; she was so serious about going to meet Alpha Redford.
She knew Alpha Nelson was just capping; the bouncers will still remain, and there’s nothing he or Grace could do about it.
The level of power she thinks she had in Alpha Nelson’s house was extremely high, and she was using that on Grace.
“Get into the car and take me out of this hell the asshole calls a mansion!” Sophia scoffed, her voice laced with a mixture of anger and irritation.
She was damn angry that Grace had finally driven out with the car she wanted to go out with, and now she had no other option but to go drive in her own car.
“Increase the speed of the car; I am already late for my appointment.” Sophia sneered that she was really having a bad day today.
“Okay ma!” The one driving answered very calmly and did as he was instructed.
A few minutes later, they had already arrived at the eatery Alpha Redford had sent to Sophia; then the sun had gone down, and the evening breeze was so cool and refreshing.
The drive was really a very long and tiring one. Sophia got down from the car, wore her black shades, and just then she strolled into the eatery.
Damn! She was really a beauty to behold. She was damn classic and elegant.
She was quick to spot Alpha Redford immediately she got into the eatery; he was sitting at the normal table where anyone and everybody could sit and not on a very important person table (VIP).
Sophia didn’t let the bouncers bring her eyes inside the eatery; she had her own reason why she didn’t.
“Good evening,” Sophia said to Alpha Redford as she took her seat. He had a scowl in his face and was really not looking happy at all.
“Nothing is good about the evening, woman! What the heck? You took up a whole lot of my time.” Alpha Redford couldn’t even hide the anger in him.
Sophia was really fumming inside of her; the way he was speaking to her was something she couldn’t take, but still she tried to act calm.
“Sorry for that; I had some minor issues while coming.” Sophia voiced calmly, but she was really very furious inside of her.
Sophia was seated at the very opposite side of the chair, where she could see people leave or enter the eatery.
It was not just an eatery; it was an expensive and high-class one, and it was really outstanding for people of high caliber and rank.
“That is okay! But take note that I don’t condone lateness, in case of some other time.
Sophia was about to say something very harsh to Alpha Redford when her eyes locked with that of a very beautiful and stunning lady dressed in a blue hugging gown coming into the eatery. She looked so familiar that Sophia had to give her a careful glance so she could tell it wasn’t someone she knew.
“Are you still here?” Alpha Redford tapped Sophia slightly on her shoulder when he noticed she was lost in thoughts.
“Yes, I am.” Sophia said and smiled, her gaze cutting from that of the woman that had just entered.
But before she could even flip her head to the entrance where she had seen the familiar lady some minutes ago, she was shocked that she couldn’t find her, and just then she was using her eyes to scan the whole crowd.
“Can we just get this done already?” Alpha Redford sneered; he was really not understanding the fact that Sophia was acting very strange.
“No, not at all. Just that I saw someone, and she looks like someone I know.” Sophia said, still trying to find the person.
“We can now go ahead with the conversation.” Sophia said giving up on the search.
“What would you love to order?” Alpha Redford asked her, even though he was not happy she had taken a long time to arrive; he didn’t want an awkward conversation.
“A red wine is fine by me.” Sophia said she was still not giving up on finding that particular person that had entered some minutes ago.
Alpha Redford signaled one of the salesgirls around to get Sophia some wine, and in some seconds the person had brought it.
She helped Sophia pour the wine into a glass, and just then she left.
“Thanks for the wine,” Sophia said and sipped a bit while she now concentrated on listening to what Alpha Redford gas went to say.
She was praying in her heart that Grace nle Alpha Nelson sees her here; she was wearing shade because a random person can just take a picture of her and just then she would be on social media.
“You are welcome. So I have thought about how the deal should go.” Alpha Redford said.
“I have the paper and everything else needed for it; please don’t waste my time on it anymore. I am sure this is not the only reason why we are, eh?
“Listen to me very well; you are acting so eager to leave already; you just arrived.” Alpha Redford said.
“You have no idea who I am because I stoop so low to accept your invitation, huh? Sophia was beginning a fight right now.
“You also have no idea who the hell I am!” Alpha Redford said, and just then their eyes locked with that of Sophia, and before you knew it, something weird happened.
The wine Alpha Redford had ordered recently for Sophia, someone poured the wine on her, and this caused Sophia and Alpha Nelson to look up in the direction of where that had come from.
Her dress was completely ruined, and she was in a mess. She would really not take it lightly with the person that had done this; it was an intentional act and not a mistake or anything.
But who could this person be? What had made her pour the wine of Sophia? Was it an accident or was it intentional?
Alpha Redford was also stunned about what had happened.
Sophia was really shocked by who she had seen.
Read and find out what happens next. Who had poured them dunk?
