Immediately Grace’s hands reached her phone. She tried to find out who the hell was sending her a message at the very early hours of the morning, and when she noticed it was Sophia, she wondered what the bitch had sent.
“What! This early in the morning?” Grace mumbled as she tried to click the text message and read through.
She clicked the message, and low and behold, it was a text that said. “On your data and come online on Whatsapp.” This was the message Sophia sent, and Grace was left startled.
She had no close relationship with Sophia, yet she had told her to come online on Whatsapp and check something she couldn’t even tell and added a whole lot of love and care emoji.
Grace was curious; what is Sophia wanting her to go on WhatsApp and see? Was it something relevant? Like what exactly?
Grace hurriedly switched on her data; immediately after she did that, she waited for the WhatsApp messages to load so she could see what Sophia was referring to.
“Sophia….” This was what made her click the message after seeing that at the beginning of the text.
She opened the message, and just then she saw a video Sophia had sent to her, and she had no other option but to use her data to download it so she could see what it was all about.
Immediately the video started playing; she was shocked at what she saw; her mouth opened agape, and her eyes widened in shock. She was really dumbfounded, and her breath stopped instantly.
It was the very scene Alpha Nelson had dragged her like a nobody and was going out of the main hall that was really the memory she doesn’t want to recall.
She could see how the crowd was astonished too as they watched Alpha Nelson drag her; only this alone was a slap to her face.
Meanwhile, Alphanovel still had the guts and audacity to lay his hands on her face; that was really very unacceptable, and that was why she retaliated.
Immediately her head flashed back to everything that had happened the previous day; tears streamed down her cheek, burning them.
She knew her marriage with Alpha Nelson was a deal marriage, but at least it was more sweet than how it is now.
She really had no idea things would change this much in just a couple of months in the marriage.
Grace switched off her phone with annoyance and wiped off her tears; she hated shedding tears all because Alpha Nelson was being very silly.
Crying for a man or marriage that was not real was something she couldn’t see herself doing anymore. Alpha Nelson should go to hell and burn to aches for all she cares.
With this last thought, she stood up and went to go on with preparation with work.
This was when she remembered she had not called Elvis or her mom rather.
“Damn!” She squealed and ran to pick up her phone from the bed where she had dropped it earlier.
Ring, Ring, Ring.
After the very third ring, Elvis picked up.
“Hello, sister Grace.” Elvis says his voice is weak and pale.
“Hello, my love.” Grace said immediately she heard his voice; she was checking out for a dress to wear as she waited for him to pick up.
She could have done that last night, but she was really in a very bad mood and didn’t even think of that.
“You sound so pale; are you okay? Did the fools do anything to you? Did they hurt you?” Grace sounded so curious and annoyed as she asked.
“No, sister, I am okay.” Elvis said to Grace that even though his voice sounded so pale, he tried to sound okay.
“How are you coping with staying at home without mom? I am very busy, and I will try coming to see you.” Grace said, Assuring.
Her mother was admitted to the rehabilitation center, and she stayed there Monday to Friday and was brought back home by any doctor she invited to go pick her up.
She was sure her mother was not aware that Elvis was kidnapped, and she felt so bad hearing him sound pale, and he also had no one staying with him at that moment.
“Okay, sis, thank you so much for checking up on me.” Elvis said his voice was still pale.
After they were done on call, Grace ended the call, and due to the amount of love she had for her brother, she decided to instruct one of the maids in Aloha Nelson Mansion to go take care of Elvis till he was fine.
But first she has to be done for work. One hour later, Grace, a very tall, beautiful, and classic lady, stood at the front of the silvery mirror in the guest room she was still sleeping in.
She was dressed in a white short-band beautiful feminine shirt, wore a very long black trouser, and was also wearing a very long suit on top of the shirt.
It was a John suit; she also had her long hair combed, pouring to her back, and very simple make-up on her face, giving her a very perfect and outstanding look.
She was going to the office as just the rank they had given her; since it was yesterday, she had to show them she was capable.
“And some of the slut of ladies are wanting to get married to Alpha Nelson.” Grace mumbled to herself as she stared at her beautiful reflection on the mirror, her ocean blue eyes sparkling.
She let out a chuckle as she continued. “They had no idea of the hell of a marriage they wanted for themselves. Do they think I am happy with this marriage? If it was a real marriage, I would have divorced the freaking asshole by now and be a very free woman.” Grace was still mumbling to herself.
She had taken this bold step so as to make Victor and Cindy regret it, but now she was the one regretting every damn thing.
“And they say all men are not the same? A very funny, unreal statement, and I won’t ever be a victim to men again after this.” This was the last statement Grace made, and just then she picked up her bag and walked out of the room.
She would continue to play a perfect wife and do everything that is on the deal till it expired; could she say she did her own part of the deal perfectly, and that is to be his wife, and just that she would do?
She went downstairs and instructed a maid whom she knew she trusted and told her about Elvis and she should go stay with him.
The lady agreed, and with this, Grace was relieved. She walked out of the premises, and the driver who was assigned to her drove her to the company.
Grace had no idea who she was going to see… It was really going to be shocking-a very shocking moment.
