Cara’s POV
I barely had time to react. My protests were cut short by the crushing weight of his lips smashing down onto mine, sealing my words.
My resistance crumbled as his kiss came, rough and hard, it consumed me. He was rough, a little too rough, but, surprisingly, I liked it. I hated to admit it, but I liked the dominance in his touch, and worse, my wolf was relishing it, too. She whimpered inside me, craving more of him.
The heated passion between us swallowed me whole, pulling me under. I moaned softly against his lips, feeling my body betraying me. And then, before I even realised what I was doing, I gasped, “Master,” under my breath.
My eyes snapped open. What had I just said? Shame rushed through me.
I tried to clamp my mouth shut, but it was too late. the deed had already been done. A deep, dark growl rumbled from Brian’s chest in approval.
He broke the long, deep heated kiss, letting me have a moment to catch the breath I have been holding. His gaze pinned me down, causing a string of pleasure to pool at my core.
“Call me Master,” he demanded, his voice low and menacing, I saw his wolf through his eyes glinting with something darker, something hungry.
“N-no, I…”
But before I could protest further, his lips crashed down onto my neck, at the spot he had marked me, running his tongue over the mating mark, making me tremble in pleasure.
I was panting like someone who ran a marathon race, my heart racing with wild abandon. Brian removed my dress slowly, too slowly, savoring the pleasure of watching me squirm at being exposed. This was the first time for me, and I was a little bit nervous, not knowing what to expect.
His rough hands roamed over my body, going lower down, dangerously close to my core, that was already wet in need, sending a jolt of electricity through my body. I felt nervous at the foreign feeling, but his hands brushing over my clitoris sent shivers through me, melting away any atom of resistance or nervousness I had.
My skin felt like it was on fire, every nerve ending alive with sensation. I had never felt anything like this. The rougher he got, the more I couldn’t stop myself from wanting more.
His lips found my most sensitive spot, and I couldn’t hold back the gasp that escaped me. I lost all control. I let loose all I had been holding back, giving in fully to the waves of pleasure crashing over me. It was intoxicating and overwhelming, and a heat I had never known existed rushed through me, building higher and higher until I felt myself spiraling out of control.
And then, before I could stop it, a pleasure so intense hit me, my body convulsed in an orgasm I didn’t even know was coming. My entire world shattered, leaving me trembling beneath him. I moaned louder than I intended, arching my back, calling out his name between gasps for air.
That was it, I needed him, right at the moment, nothing else mattered, only Brian and me inside the cabin all alone mattered in the whole world.
“Please,” I begged like a slut, my voice barely a whisper as I felt my body begging for more, needing more. “Please, Brian… take me.”
Morales be damned.
I spread my legs wide, grinding my hips frantically against him, desperate for him to fill the aching void inside me. The darkness in his eyes flared, a primal growl escaping his throat as if my words unleashed something deep inside him.
I could feel the tension in the air, thick with raw desire, and I was ready to give in completely, to let him claim me in every way possible. But just as the heat between us reached its peak, just as i thought Brian will finally get to the main part, and drive my mind crazy, He suddenly pulled away from me, with a speed that left me breathless.
I blinked, confused, my body still throbbing with need. “Brian?” My voice came out shaky as I sat up, searching his face for answers. “What’s wrong?”
He was standing at the edge of the room, breathing hard, his back turned to me. When he finally faced me, it took everything in me not to shout out in fear.
Brian wasn’t the same man who had kissed me moments ago. His eyes had fully shifted into his wolf’s, glowing with that eerie amber hue, and his body trembled as if he was fighting something, his shoulder tensed and hunched, with the force of holding himself back.
He had transformed into his half beast form.
I tried to stand, to reach out to him, but he raised his hands up, stopping me dead in my tracks. his hands, his arms. His entire form was no longer human. He was covered with hairs all over, but he was still a human. It was something I had never seen nor heard off.
“Brian!” I cried out in panic, not understanding why this was happening and why he pulled back. “What’s happening?”
His eyes met mine, and what I saw there sent a chill through me. It wasn’t anger or even the raw hunger I had seen moments ago. It was sadness, deep, and consuming. He looked broken, like he was at war with himself.
He was looking at me, specifically at my neck region, I followed his gaze, and that was when I saw it, an open wound on my shoulder blade. blood dripped from the fresh wound. Confusion filled my eyes.
Brian had wounded me in the process.
“Now you see,” he growled, his voice barely human, strained and pained. “Now you see why we can’t be together. I’m a monster, Cara.”
Tears welled up in my eyes. I tried to move closer to him, reaching out, wanting to touch him, to comfort him. “You’re not a monster. I don’t care about this. We can figure it out together.”
” Can’t you see Cara, are you blind? I lost control of my wolf, I hurt you…I am cursed, Cara. I am dangerous.”
“It’s just a scratch, it’s nothing Brian, I am a werewolf, I can heal” I said softly,
“You don’t understand, Cara. I luckily pulled my wolf away from hurting you, I am a rogue, a bad one. Your life is better without me.”
“Brian, wait!…”
But Brian recoiled, taking a step back. His entire body shuddered as he fought to control the beast raging inside him. “Don’t, Cara. Don’t come any closer.” His voice was desperate, filled with a pain I couldn’t reach.
“I don’t care, Brian!” I shouted, frustration and heartache swelling inside me. “I…i love you! We’ll find a way…”
He cut me off with a sharp snarl, stepping further back, his body shaking violently. He looked at me one last time, and I could see the torment in his eyes, the struggle between man and wolf, between his desire for me and the fear that he would lose control.
“I can’t…” His voice broke, and without another word, Brian turned and leaped through the window, disappearing into the night, vanishing into the depths of the forest.
I stood there, frozen, my heart aching, tears streaming down my face. The weight of what had just happened crashed down on me, leaving me feeling hollow and broken. He was gone.
My hands trembled as I wrapped my arms around myself, trying to hold back the sobs that threatened to escape. The cabin felt colder, emptier without him. I wanted to run after him, to scream for him to come back, but I knew it wouldn’t matter.
I heard a heartbroken howl in the distance. I clutched my heart in pain. it pained me that my mate was suffering and I couldn’t do anything about it.
And all I could do was watch him disappear, leaving me alone with an empty feeling down my stomach.
