The room fell silent, and Beta Frank, who was looking for a way to talk about the elders, completely forgot about it to question the Alpha.
“Do you think this was the best decision?” He questioned, and even though he did not have the right to question the Alpha’s authority as a Beta, he tried to persuade him as a friend.
“I have sorted out all options, and this is the best and better option; additionally, I do not have a mate to disrupt the plans.” The majority of the Elders were happy with the choice, Alpha Damian retorted, saying that things would improve for them as a result.
“I know this is not the best decision, so I will not be involved in this.” With a mutter, Beta Frank got up from his chair and started to leave.
“Beheading awaits you if you step your feet out of this room.” Like the Elders, Beta Frank was equally astounded by the statement and turned to face him in shock.
“I am the Alpha, and I can do it. Get the cars ready; we are going down to Crest Pack today.” He ordered and walked out of the room, his expression blank; he felt bad about talking to Beta Frank like that, but he needed to take the necessary steps and give birth to an heir before he died.
The Elders designated for official duties such as signing agreements or reaching a peaceful conclusion all went out to prepare, as did Beta Frank, while those who were not concerned went on with their daily activities.
Mavana was roughly dragged out of the prison room, goosebumps covering her skin as fear crept slowly into her mind. She was afraid that her secrets had been revealed.
“Get off me!” She yelled, intending to flee as soon as she could free herself from their grip.
“Enough with the struggle.” One of the guards guarding her warned, tightening his grip on her plastered skin. A blood-curdling scream escaped her throat, her lips trembling from the agony that washed over her. She looked at the guard angrily, her body burning with pain and anger. She wanted to hurt him, but she was powerless.
“You should be grateful that you will be used to grace a bargain between two packs.” The second guard muttered with mocking grin, Mavana, disgusted, kicked her legs and stood motionless on the floor.
The guys holding her moved forward, but Mavana remained stationary. One of the guys smirked and hit her legs with his, but she did not move.
She felt surges of power run through her entire body; her strength was failing her once more. This time, she vowed to remain conscious; she would not allow this power to drain her strength again.
Her body vibrates while her eyes are tightly closed. She recalled having this sensation-that of her wolf emerging. She can not let her out; it will be more trouble than good, especially in a pack she is unfamiliar with.
She tried to calm her wolf, but all of her efforts were futile. She eventually discovered one of the reasons her parents, particularly her mother, always warned her not to shift: her claws grew slowly, becoming sharp and long, much longer than when she scratched the stupid Elder who harassed her. Her head was banging, and her heart was throbbing with intense pain as she tried to calm her wolf. She knows what will happen if her identity is revealed.
“What the hell is going on here?” Another guard who came out for the left side entrance inquired.
Mavana’s breathing became ragged as she struggled to look up. The struggle was draining her physically and mentally, and her strength was failing her. She was exhausted and choked back tears, attempting to suppress her emotions. The pain was too much.
“Karina, Please” she stammered, her body shaking aggressively. The guards were terrified for themselves; if anything happened to her now, they would be framed for killing her or something more serious. The rogue has become an asset since the Alpha announced that she will be used to grace a deal instead of calling for help. They fixed their gaze, unable to comprehend what was going on.
She felt aggressive and murderous, and her eyes flickered open at the same time, blue and sharp, making the guards shake with fear.
However, they remained in their respective positions, startled.
After much struggle to calm her wolf, she felt a wave of calm wash over her, her blue eyes returned to normal, and the guards were free to move. One of them tried to alert others to the strange encounter.
Before the others could think of moving, their minds went blank, as did their brains. They felt drained of something.
“It is a problem with you guys that we have been waiting for almost three minutes, just to have a female rogue get into the car?” Mavana was terrified just by Gamma Loan’s eyes as he yelled from a distance.
“Who is this man? He sounds really authoritative” She thought as she looked at the strange man. The guards snapped back into reality, and two of them dragged Mavana roughly towards the car. One of them opened the car and they threw her inside before closing it.

The room was filled with unending tension as the Alpha’s mother disagreed with the deal. She never, ever wanted her son to marry just anyone. She had always fantasized about her son’s mate being a beautiful and respectful lady who would give birth to his heir. Despite hearing rumors about the royals not having a mate.
She can not let him get himself into a mess.
“Why are you so set on signing the deal you have been rejecting since the proposal?”She inquired, her eyes glaring for explanations.
A sigh escaped his throat. Unable to find the perfect words to explain his unfortunate situation, he does not want his mother to worry. “I just thought it was the right thing to do; I heard some rogue sent a warning to us, and now is the best time to sign that deal,” he muttered, avoiding her questioning and unhappy stare.
“Rogues? I did not hear anything about that, and I even heard you were planning to take the rogue with you.” She sighed, thinking about the various news stories circulating in the pack house.
“She is not a rogue Mom; she ran away from Crest pack,” he groaned.
Alpha’s Mother looked at him with obvious surprise and deception, “But how could someone with brown skin and a rogue appearance be an escapee from the Crest pack, and why did she escape?” She blurt out.
