05: Prisoner’s culture

Book:Mavana; The Silver Omega Published:2024-11-6

“Bursted” Daisy smiled and turned to leave the shocked Luna and personal maid alone with their thoughts.
“What happened just now?” With a glaring glare in her direction, Lorienta turned and walked away as Erica mouthed to her, fixing her intense gaze on the angry woman.
With a joyful expression on his face, Alpha Carlos entered the pack house and was taken aback by how empty and quiet it was. In an attempt to determine the reason, Beta Drake called a few maids, who informed him of Daisy’s arrival.
Alpha Carlos knew right away that trouble was on the way, but he ignored it and focused on the situation at hand, which was to track down Mavana’s location. “Let us go get busy, the silent pack house is the least of my problems.”

**At Silverado Pack**
” Who are you?” A prison mate from the other room questioned Mavana, who was fixated on the prison keys in the guard’s pocket.
“I am Mavana,” she replied, facing the ground with a lot of thoughts racing through her head. She was only concerned with her own life at the time.
The other prisoners were intrigued when they heard her name, which was unusual, and began to question her.
“The name sounds cultural; what is its meaning?”
“What led your parents to give you that name? Are they fools?” The prison bully mouthed from her room, causing the rest to laugh mockingly.
Mavana kept quiet and sighed softly. The prison bully was still not satisfied because it was part of their culture to deal with new inmates until they were punished by the prison guards.
“I am certain that you are not from this pack based on your aura. What brought you here?” A voice came up from her own prison room, causing Mavana to shift in shock. She has never seen anyone or heard any noises since she was brought into the prison. The only thing she is unaware of is the dark side of the prison room, which she finds frightening.
“Look, the sadist is speaking, woah.” One of the prison bully lackeys mouthed, drawing more attention to Mavana’s prison cell. The prison guards also faced the prison room before he was summoned by another. He instructed everyone to remain silent before leaving.
Mavana made certain that the prison guard had moved far away from the prison before standing on her feet and slowly walking into the darkness.
Only to see a lady who appears to be a little older than her on the ground, looking exhausted and pale.
The bullies’ expressions changed to one of fear, as did the rest of them, as they began calling on Mavana to come out of there fearfully.
” What exactly are you doing? Get the hell out!” The lady yelled and pushed Mavana out of the dark place, but she stubbornly returned to satisfy her curious mind.
The other prisoners looked around, calling Mavana to come out in a low tone, as if they were afraid of someone hearing them.
Mavana’s head went blank and her mind suddenly became heavy. She instinctively left the dark area and sat down on the ground. Her body instantly returned to normal, but she forgot what had happened earlier.
” This is the rogue” The other inmates opened their mouths in disbelief as they all recoiled in terror as the mother of the Alpha pointed at Mavana. This pack has a frightening history with rogues, and despite the fact that the majority of the inmates are not Silverado Pack members, they still received their share from the rouge rebellion.
“I am not a rouge; I rejected my mate and was banished for stabbing his Luna, which was a lie and…” Mavana realized she had been thinking about her response rather than listening to the negotiation.
“She has to join the working slaves; this will tame her and limit her ability to communicate with other rogues.” An elder suggested this while glaring at Mavana, who was also staring back.
“Do you think we are in trouble?” Karina, Her wolf inquired, her tone showing obvious fear.
“I should be asking you that; I am just a worthless Omega.” She mouthed underneath, The rustling of keys caused her heart to leap with unexplained emotions before she realized that the her prison room door has been opened.
She was dragged out by her hair and forced to kneel. She winced as her knees touched the ground and fell on her buttocks.
“She should be taken to the Pack House Peak for beating; I believe her other rogues would not want to see one of them suffer, and we can recognize them from that.” Another elder remarked and smiled at his brilliant idea. Mavana lifted her head and looked at everyone before allowing the tears she had been holding back to flow.
Two guards dragged her up and pulled her until they reached the Pack’s peak, which provided an excellent view of the entire pack. People were already down, waiting to see what would happen. The elder has been plotting all along, even before he persuaded the mother of the Alpha to allow him and the other elder to visit the rogue.
The settings appeared familiar to Mavana, and her wolf jumped in fear, as if she was about to emerge, but Mavana shut her down, knowing that it would only cause more trouble than good.
Her hands and legs were chained to a pillar, and ten guards holding cains with thorns and chains stood near her while waiting for an order.
“Get started.” The Alpha’s mother placed her order and took a seat far away but with a great view.
“Tell the Alpha that his presence is required here,” the Elder of Civil whispered to a guard, a mischievous smile curling up on his lips.
Alpha Damian was already on his way there when the guard approached him. He bowed respectfully and returned to the Elder of Civil to relay his message.
As Alpha Damian drew nearer, he felt as though his heart was being punctured. He moaned and attempted to gather himself, but a powerful aura suddenly rushed into his nose, causing him to collapse and lose consciousness instantly.
Her wolf yelled in agony as she mouthed the word “Mate,” in place of Mavana’s cries of pain and pleas for forgiveness.
