Chloe was sitting in the hospital room on the sofa. Her Aunt was still unconscious, lying on the bed. She stared at Zia, her eyes filled with guilt. She was devoured by remorse because her Aunt had suffered due to her actions. She couldn’t believe that Andrew did this to Zia just to show her that he was evil. She felt like killing him. She was hurt and angry at the same time. When he had told her she would regret it, she hadn’t believe him, but now she was really regretting it because her Aunt was lying in a hospital bed.
After some time, Zia regained consciousness. Chloe was now sitting beside her, looking at her with eyes full of remorse.
“I’m sorry, Aunt, that you had to face all this because of me,” she apologized, genuinely guilty.
“It’s okay, Chloe.” Zia placed her hand on Chloe’s face. “You didn’t know who he was. I’m glad that we both are fine.”
“Aunt, I’ll take revenge for what he did to you,” Chloe said, her eyes glinting with anger.
“No, Chloe. He is very powerful. You just need to stay away from him now. I don’t want him to do anything to you in the future. Please,” she requested.
“You always taught me to fight back, and now you’re stopping me?” Chloe asked in disbelief. “Why?”
“Because he can do anything to you, Chloe.” Zia clasped her hand and implored, “For me, just stay away from him, please.” She looked at her with pleading eyes.
“Only for you, I’m leaving him alone. But in the future, if he tries to hurt you, I’ll kill him,” Chloe stated, staring straight ahead in anger. Then she turned her gaze towards Zia, her eyes softening. “By the way, why didn’t you inform me that you were coming to meet me?”
“I wanted to surprise you, but at the airport, they kidnapped me,” Zia told her.
She apologized again, “I’m sorry.”
“It’s okay, Chloe. I’m fine,” Zia said, squeezing her hand slightly.
Chloe hugged her and uttered, “I missed you a lot, Aunt.”
“I missed you too, sweetheart,” Zia replied, hugging her back. As they pulled apart, she kissed Chloe’s forehead.

On the other side, Andrew was sitting on the sofa, staring straight ahead, lost in deep thought. He was already missing the badass girl, but he wanted to stay away from her because he believed he was dangerous for her. He did all this not because he wanted to prove to her that he was evil, but because he wanted to keep her safe and away from him. He cared for her and wanted to protect her at any cost. He had also asked a few of his men to secretly protect her.
“You did wrong, Boss,” Mike’s voice brought him back to reality. He was standing in front of him.
Andrew raised his head to look at him and stated, “Mike, I know what I’m doing. It is right for her.”
“She will hate you now.”
“It doesn’t matter to me. Everyone hates me, and I want her to hate me too because I’m dangerous for her.” He uttered, his face devoid of any emotions.
“But-” He paused as Andrew lifted his hand to silence him.
“Leave me alone, Mike, and don’t dare to tell the truth to Chloe. I know you both talk to each other.” He instructed in a stern tone.
“Don’t worry, Boss. Your every secret is safe with me,” Mike said and left the room.
“What are you doing to me, you badass girl?” Andrew muttered in frustration because he couldn’t stop thinking about her.
One Week Later
A week passed in a blur. They both kept themselves busy with work, but they were both terribly missing each other and profoundly irked because they couldn’t take each other out of their minds. Chloe hated herself for thinking about him and missing him. After what he did to her Aunt, she still yearned to see him. She was hellishly frustrated, wondering what was happening to her. She wanted to hate him, but she couldn’t. She missed his presence. It was becoming hard for both of them to concentrate on their work.
Andrew’s men had been searching for the person who had captured his photo with Chloe, and finally, they found him.
“Boss, we have found him. He’s in the torture room,” Mike informed Andrew.
Andrew reached the torture room and started beating the man with a rod, fuming with anger. The man was hanging upside down, wearing only boxers.
“How dare you click my photo and give it to my enemy?” he barked at him, roughly grasping his jaw.
The man smiled evilly. “Now you can’t do anything. I have already given the photos to all your enemies. Now nobody can save your lover because everyone is after her.”
Andrew became even angrier and hit him hard with the rod, shouting, “You’re dead.”
“Beat him until his last breath,” he ordered one of his men before marching out of the room. Mike followed him.
“Chloe is not safe out there. I have to bring her here again,” he said to Mike in a serious tone. He was anxious for her.
“But she won’t come, Boss. She hates you.”
“I will bring her here at any cost because I don’t want anybody to kidnap and torture her again,” he stated with determination.

Andrew reached her mansion with his men. He strode inside and asked his men to stay outside and wait for him.
When the guard stopped him at the main door, he showed him his gun. He marched inside and stopped as his eyes fell on Chloe. She was sitting in the hall, holding a glass of wine, looking profusely attractive in a red hot dress as always. He felt like he got his breath back seeing her after a week. For a few minutes, he kept gazing at her, forgetting about the entire world.
Her eyes widened in utter surprise as she looked at him.
“Are you really here?” she asked in disbelief, sitting up straight and looking at him incredulously.
He came back to reality after hearing her words. “Yes, I’m real, Miss Walker,” he answered, striding toward her, his intense gaze fixed on her, which was making her crazy.
She scowled at him as soon as she recalled what he had done to her Aunt. She stood up and asked in anger, “What are you doing here?”
“I’m here to take you with me, and you’re coming with me,” he stated in a stern tone.
She scoffed. “And do you think I’ll come with you? Did you forget how you tortured my Aunt?” She glared at him, clenching the glass of wine.
“Your life is in danger, and you have to come with me,” he ordered her.
She put the glass of wine on the table and waggled her finger at him. “Listen, I’m not your slave that I will comply with your orders. I’m still not scared of you. I can protect myself from you or anybody else.”
This time, her words didn’t make him angry. He just gazed at her, highly impressed. He was in love with her sassy attitude. She never failed to amaze him with her bravery and fearlessness.
He stayed silent and moved closer to her, accelerating her heartbeat.
“If you force me, then I’ll beat the shit out of you,” she warned him.
“Oh, I’m scared,” he said sarcastically, moving away from her.
She clenched her fist and punched him hard in the face, shocking him. He stared at her darkly, fuming with anger.
She raised her hand to hit him again, but this time he grasped her hands. They stared at each other intensely, their eyes filled with immense anger. He walked behind her and gripped her hands firmly at her back with one hand.
He glided his other hand up into her dress, stroking her milky white thigh and arousing her desires. Her body shivered, and her inner thigh throbbed for his touch. She closed her eyes, and her breath became heavy. Her body was on fire, and she badly wanted to feel the touch of his hands and lips all over her. She craved him.
He nuzzled her hair and inhaled her intoxicating scent. She was utterly lost in his magical touch, and he was lost in her fragrance. “I really missed the heavenly fragrance of your exquisite body,” he breathed in her ear in the heat of the moment, taking her breath away.
